Good tasting food, good customer service, and fast service.

I used to live in one of the houses in front of this restaurant back in 2011 .I remember going to this place the food tasted good ! Good times.

Excellent friendly service, the green salsa is delicious, and the ceviche tostadas rival the ones from the Coyoacán Market in Mexico City

So much amazing food in one small restaurant! The salsa is delicious! Not like the tomato paste salsas given out at other restaurants. I Always order an ice-cold Horchata to drink and my favorite plate which is El Jefe Plate. That comes with flavorful pastor, chicken fajita, and beef fajita with all the necessities on the side. My wife loves the Enchiladas Verdes (my second favorite plate there) and also grabs and ice-cold Horchata to drink! We'll order a cheeseburger with fries for my son and my daughter gets a plate of beans & rice and fries and chicken from everyone's plate!

Great Service and food at a reasonable price. I enjoy the shrimp cocktail!

Great mom and pop spot hidden in Southeast Austin. The food is good at a really good price. Parking can be an issue during peak times because it's limited (shared with other businesses and a gas station) and some spots are very tight. Don't forget to try the horchata.

Fast, tasty and inexpensive home style Mexican food. Nothing fancy. If you're looking for good value, the burritos and quesadillas will have you full the rest of the day. The steak poblano is the bomb. Good chips, salsa, rice, and beans. This is my go-to neighborhood joint.

One of the best hole-in-the-wall texmex restaurants in Austin.It is that simple.It is not much in interior looks, but instead serves wonderful food at great prices and generous portions.

We stopped here for dinner while camping at McKinney falls. The food was very tasty and reasonably priced. The service was friendly and attentive. The red salsa was good but the green sauce was something special. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

It was very hot and stuffy inside the restaurant oh, and then I discovered a hair in my salad that did not belong to me!

Karen is a very pleasant server, my little family and I enjoy eating at this place every time we go.

Only reason I don't give it a 5 star is that I don't want too many people to know about it! Good prices, plenty of food and fast service. I'll gig them on their horchata, not always great but most of the time it is pretty good.

Wow! What a surprise. Just stopped in for lunch, place was clean, restroom was clean. The food was excellent! I had the Tejano Plate. And!! No peas in the rice!! Way to go La Placita.

Got food poisoning and was sick for 3 days lost 10pds in day. Thought something was wrong when I tried the steak and it tasted old. Avoid this place like the plague. Service was good and people were good just old rotten meat that they serve.

Great taste of real Mexican, my favorite here is the Caldo de Res, then grilled fish and tostadas de Ceviche with Agua de Horchata!!! I'm glad to find this place, small, fast, great taste... The site is not upgraded and not for large groups. Definitely I will return.

Once you get into the parking lot and find a parking space, you will be satisfied. My friends from across Hays, Caldwell, and Williamson Counties enjoy meeting me here for a meal and a ride afterwards.

Supper small mom and pop Mexican joint. Taste like mexico they have everything after u find a parking spot in the small and crowed parking lot and start off with chips and salsa they serve red and green u will be hooked and looking to come back often the food is delicious they staff is nice and attentive and the cooks are fast I recommend this joint to everyone

I ordered the tacos of tripe and they seem to be overcooked and really dry. Very hard to chew and my jaw is hurting. They were really quick to get me my food and good customer service but I probably would not be going back.

Customer service from Hortencia was horrible. We have ordered over 400 tacos this year and we won't order any more because this isn't the first time she has been rude
