I regularly come grabbing some food here. I loved the quick service and well made food. I recommend this place.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by luck. A big good fat fluffy luck. The lobster roll was da bomb! You know from time to time you will have a meal that you will keep on thinking about? Their lobster roll is definitely on my list. The meat was so soft and abundant, with perfect amount of condiments. The roll was buttery and toasted perfectly. I am salivating as I am typing. The fries could be improved but the lobster roll is so dang perfect! My husband had the fish sandwich, it was tasty too. There was no kid menu, but the waiter mentioned we can order practically anything for the kids. We ordered mac and cheese for the kids. They were good, but my son was more busy trying to eat my lobster. Highly recommended!

Seafood was flavorful and paired nicelywith each side. Overall an excellent selection. Service by Kyle G was top notch. Del Mare is an absolute must try if you are in the area

Review №4

Delicious! Homemade pasta, which was sooo good! Everything we ate was tasty and the service was excellent. Definitely recommend going! As you can see there are only a few pictures because we ate our entrees so quickly!!

Review №5

Apps, entrees and desserts were all fabulous.Fried cheese app with spicy marinara was superb. A side of Brussels sprouts with blue cheese went perfectly with steak. Lobster ravioli with crab chunks in vodka sauce was wonderful.

Tonight was our first time at Dal Mare. My husband and I had a lovely server. Jennifer was very helpful with our meal choices. The salmon was by far the best I've ever had. The atmosphere was perfect. Not only do I recommend this restaurant, but we will return with friends. Can't wait to try the calamari.

Review №7

Very cozy and friendly place to eat. We came here on our anniversary trip to New England (recommended by our Airbnb host) and were not disappointed! The service in particular was fantastic and we were made to feel right at home.

Review №8

This site is my number one site. Of all restaurants I know I prefere it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to visit this place. Whenever I feel like having a decent supper, this restaurant comes first to my mind. excellent and food and a large list of dishes.great crew, and great vibes. And very important, the expence is honest. I suggest this spot with great pleasure.

A pleasant surprise in a corner of the North Shore I hadn't yet discovered. First, the decor: quality materials and tasteful design went into the redesign of the interior. The atmosphere is elegant and comfortable, without being overblown or pretentious. Best of all, the meal was one of the most satisfying I've had anywhere in the Greater Boston area and particularly on the North Shore. Careful attention was paid to the quality of the ingredients and the nuances of all the seasonings and finishing details. The service couldn't have been more affable, without being intrusive or cloying.

So this was our 4th and will likely be our last. Two visits were fine, with good service, and okay food. (Whipped mashed potatoes were yummy.) But the last two visits were not good in terms of service. One time at the bar they forgot to put in our food order. No apology or word from management. (We paid for our drinks and left to make it in time for a movie.) Next time we waited for over 30 min for the entrees at a table. Server said the kitchen was backed up, but at that point we should have been spoken to by management. Is there management on staff here? Needs work in that department and without a “have a good night” from the front of house on the way out...well, we won't be back.

Review №11

Previously this place was called Cygnet. Now it is Del Maré. Awesome scallop entre, mussels and pasta, they let us chose what hand made pasta we wanted. Key lime pie was excellent for dessert. Service was great, very attentive to our needs but stayed away if not required

Review №12

I tried the restaurant this evening for the first time. I had the pasta and meatball special which was average at best. Four small meatballs and a small amount of pasta. The sauce tasted "store bought" versus homemade. My wife had the salmon which was overcooked (she asked for medium rare). I will not be rushing back.

Review №13

We went to dinner last night. Food was fine. Service was fine. A mouse running around the restaurant that has apparently been there for 2 weeks and the staff named “judy”- not fine.

Review №14

Dined for lunch with wife and son. The clam chowder and French onion soup were superb. Lobster roll was large and excellent. Ceasar salad was only so-so, lettuce didn't seem crisp enough, might have been chopped the night before. I'll return if in the area again.

Review №15

Newly refurbished and new owners. Elegant with an excellent menu and fantastic service. We ate here right after my youngest son received his first high school report card. Hearing us praising my son, our waitress shared our conversation with the chef who sent my son a free dessert to celebrate. Eating here again about two months later without my son, our waitress remembered my son, his name and how well he had done at school and asked me to say hello. Made us feel so welcome and cared for.

Review №16

Great food and atmosphere.

Review №17

Served me a strip steak when I ordered a rib eye. other than that the food is excellent. when put to task the staff claimed the strip was a rib eye. if not for that they'd get five stars

Review №18

Atmosphere was good food was ok

Review №19

Great menu and dollar oysters... can't gowrong. Eric at the bar is great.

Review №20

Delicious food and great service.

Review №21

Good food, atmosphere, and service.

Review №22

Very nice experience. Great seafood and a nice quiet dining experience.

Review №23

Warm and cozy place. $1 oysters are an incredible value from 5pm - 630pm daily. Service is always prompt. We had lobster salad and the catch of the day, Wonderful!

Review №24

I can't believe this place has so many positive reviews. It really should be called “Dull Mare” since the food is so mediocre. They feature homemade pasta, but the bolognese was SO under seasoned. The Caesar salad was also disappointing. The lettuce was flaccid, and the dressing was bland. It was as if the salad had been premade and served from the cooler. My friend's salmon was also uninspired. I had high hopes for this restaurant, but was seriously disappointed.

Review №25

Can hit the bar with a golf shot from my couch, yet we will be going back to the Hale street tavern bar. Third time and same poor bar service. Personality and smiles reserved for the patrons she knows. The rest of us, or at least my wife and I have to ask for water and anything else. I finished my appetizers another couple sits next to me, greeted with an abundance of good tidings and a run down of the specials. Oh there are specials? Why was I not presented the same way, I would have ordered one of them.

Review №26

Reopened Oct 15, 2018 as Dal Mare Restaurant, after extensive refurbishing of the elegant and inviting interior. For fans of the old Cygnet, the same chef has revised the menu, but two of the most popular selections have been retained. We stopped in mid-afternoon, sat at the bar, and enjoyed the Wellfleet oysters ($1 each on weekdays at specified times), a delicious plate of crispy fried calamari, and draft beer from a great selection on tap.The staff were all extremely friendly and accommodating, and the unexpected afternoon experience was delightful.

Review №27

Lobster and Cod is delicious. An aggressive but well balanced menu.

Review №28

Excellent restaurant. Cozy, quint and warm atmosphere. Personnel attentive, but not hovering. Food outstanding. Will recommend to all.

Review №29

Perfect place to stop for appetizers and a drink at the bar. Classy decor. Worth a special trip to Beverly Farms to eat here. Business or business casual style.

Review №30

Elise was our waitress and she was great. The menu had a good variety and the prices were not outrageous. We ordered an appetizer from the daily special and it was a little bland. Celery root and carrot spirals over goat cheese with lemon and capers. For entrees we each ordered a steak. The filet mignon and rib eye were both cooked perfectly! The steaks are a la carte and we had a side of mushrooms to go with them that was more than enough for 2 people. We ordered the orange pound cake for dessert and ended up having to take it home because we were too full.I gave it a 4 because it is loud on the bar side and the tables are close together. Definitely recommend this restaurant!

Review №31

Overpriced, average seafood. Nothing special about this place except for the prices. Only works as it doesn't have much competition locally if you want to go out.

Review №32

Great place, great food, great atmosphere! Baked haddock was on point, strip steak was cooked (rare) perfectly. All around wonderful meal

Review №33

I had been here before a couple years ago and couldn't stop raving about the food. Tonight it was the exact opposite. While the food wasn't bad, it did not warrant the price it was set at. My biggest complaint is that when I told the waitress that the last piece of calamari had an eyelash in it and instead of being concerned she seemed to be appalled I would suggest it. All in all it was less than what I had hoped for

Review №34

This is just a wonderful restaurant in Beverly Farms community. We came for my wife's birthday and were greeted right away by a friendly host and were offered to choose our table. Our waiter was knowledgeable and not over annoying. The food was top notch the temperatures were spot on and side dishes were tasty. I will be back to this place again soon.

Review №35

Good food, good drinks, nice atmosphere.

Review №36

We enjoyed a verry nice wedding anniversary dinner

Review №37

Went for lunch and had some of the best clam chowder I've ever tasted. Very elegant and high quality food.

Review №38

The last few times I've gone here, I would say it was mediocre at best, but the most recent time was really disappointing. Service was poor and the food was a big let down. For example, the clam chowder arrived barely lukewarm and bread pudding for dessert was stone cold and was a completely different flavor than what was listed on the menu. I won't be going back if I can help it.

Review №39

Cool bar. Owner is nice. Food is pricey. Pretty good quality. Upscale. Snobby patrons.

Best food and excellent service.

Review №50

This is a top-notch restaurant in the quaint Beverly Farms area - my Mom swears by this place, and always orders the filet mignon (she says it's perfection), and I always order one of their salads. Can either be a "special occasion" place, or a nice place to sit at a bar with friends.

Review №51

CIGNA is a very unique experience it's ambience and overall service is above average for local restaurants in the area and owner Jim cares deeply about his products and is a hands-on owner I don't think there is one bad seat in the house enjoy

We stumbled upon this restaurant while visiting in town. This was a fantastic restaurant! Our server Kyle provided excellent service. My husband had the steak and it was delicious and I had the lobster salad which was excellent as well. On our way out the owner or manger thanked us and wished us a happy anniversary which personally made us feel right at home! Highly recommend this restaurant, the food was wonderful, the service was excellent and the ambiance was perfect. We will be back to dine again!
