This place is really pretty good! I had the Blackened Chicken with Crawfish Etouffee. The Etouffee was superb! Next time I go there, that will be my whole meal. The wife had the Cajun 3 Way Sampler. The ribs were super tender, the chicken was cooked perfectly, and the shrimp was spicy. The next time I'm in Cape Girardeau, I will definitely be going back.

Great Cajun Cuisine! Always great service as well. And if Cajun isn't your thing, try the French dip or a delicious steak! Definitely something for everybody here. My son usually gets the chicken strips meal, and they are not the typical kids frozen chicken strips. They are big, juicy, perfectly seasoned and fried chicken breast strips that I sometimes hope he doesn't finish, although he always does!

We drove over an hour to try a new restaurant in Cape & decided on Broussard's for something different. Wow! Had nachos-delicious but the star was the Etouffee! The chicken was tender & juicy and the prices were reasonable. First time trying and it was awesome! Our waiter, Charlie, kept our drinks filled & made sure everyone was happy. Will definitely make the trip again.

I don't post reviews ever, but the lunch my family had warranted one. If you've ever been to New Orleans and love the food, you'll absolutely love this place!!! The service was fantastic and the food was phenomenal!!! Portion size is HUGE and the food was just as good when we enjoyed our leftovers!! We will be back!

This place is amazing. We had about an hour and a half wait, which we expected. We were seated and had just about the best service we've ever had, Jasmine was our server, and she was AMAZING! She was the most attentive, sweet, and genuine person ever, and really made our night. Not to mention the selection of different food. Everything we had was absolutely delicious, and the service was super fast. A great dining experience, highly recommend!

The only reason I'm giving them 2 stars is because of the service. They where able to accommodate a large group without reservations and my server was amazing. The food on the other hand was horrible! My order was The 10 ounce Broussards Sirloin loaded bake potatoe and side house salad. I ordered the raspberry vinaigrette dressing for my salad and the dressing came out in those little white cups they have at McDonald's for your ketchup, so yes that means my salad was dry as hell. I honestly couldn't tell if my steak was a sirloin or a Salisbury, because it taste like the latter. Also this may be my fault but it wasn't until I left that I realized the steak I ordered was suppose to come with mushrooms, sautéed onions etc but did not. Wasn't worth the 80 dollar ticket, one good note the drink prices where reasonable.

I came to visit from Georgia and my best friend and her family took me here for lunch. The food was very good. The waiter could have been more nicer and acted like she was happy to take care of us but when i felt sick from drinking on a empty stomach another staff member worked quickly and got some bread for me and was very nice about me getting sick in the bathroom after she just cleaned it. I would definitely go back just this time eat for before drinking. The drink the chill pill was amazing thou!

Best Cajun food North of Louisiana! Very authentic food, great service and a wonderful atmosphere. I am a little disappointed they didn't move the live alligators (in tanks of course) when they moved into the larger building, but I'm sure it was for a good reason. It just added atmosphere at the old location, and was a nice touch IMHO.

Red beans and rice are maybe the best you will find anywhere! Generous portions! Connecuh sausage would make it a 5 star dish. Poor boy bread tasted like a toasted, buttered hot dog bun. My husband and I loved experiencing some fine dining in New Orleans and Broussard's was the perfect place to go. We enjoyed a three course dinner with some of the most amazing food we had on our vacation. We started with the Broussard's caeser and goat cheese tart - both so light and perfect. My husband enjoyed the summer vegetable bouillabaisse and I had the moules frites. Truly delicious! We ended dinner with the emperor's fool and mousse au chocolat. We would recommend everything from our meal and hope you enjoy the ambience and service as much as we did!

Hands down my favorite restaurant. The staff is always amazing but the food, daaaaaang. The crab legs surpass Red Lobster (where's the flavor?!) and their house salad dressing needs to be bottled and sold. But my absolute favorite thing is the shrimp etouffee pasta. It's creamy. It's spicy. It's everything I want in my belly. I've tried just about everything on the menu and I'm never disappointed.

THE best Cajun restaurant I've ever eaten at. Granted, I've never had Cajun in Louisiana, but have eaten at quite a few Cajun places and still can't find better crawfish etouffee than this place. My wife gets the red beans and rice and we always get an order of gator tail for the table. Everything tastes so fresh. The portions are large and the leftovers are just as good. The service has always been spectacular. Maddox took great care of us (sorry if I spelled that wrong.) If you've got some time to sit back, eat some good Cajun, and watch the river, I highly recommend hitting up Broussard's. You won't regret it...unless you eat too much, then you might...

Good Food, Nice Clean Atmosphere. It's food with a "kick" so bring your taste buds ready for a work-out! Try the Pork Boudin you'll love it! The pasta is great! The Gumbo even better! Take a look around while you're inside. The owners completely GUTTED this building, restored the walls, and designed each detail. Upstairs offers a nice river view. Broussard's is a Cape Treasure.

We went there to enjoy a night on the town for our anniversary. I had a bloody Mary which was fabulous! My husband had a Miller lite and of course it was great. My husband had to send back his cup of crawfish etoufee because it was cold. We were told it is made at 5:30 in the morning and refrigerated until needed. Not sure how the second cup came out hot. My Caesar salad was completely overdressed, it was hard to taste the lettuce through the dressing. Waitresses were amazing! I love broussards and hope they can step it up a little bit more.

We ordered the "Choose Two" that included Jambalaya and Shrimp Creole and came with red beans/rice and dinner salad. We finished with the homemade bread pudding with rum sauce. Lots of food and had to take doggie bags home. P.S. Our warmed-up bread pudding was just as yummy tonight as it was fresh last night!Food was hot and tasty with a kick; dessert was the cheery on top.
