Orchids at Palm Court

A once in a lifetime experience that was worthy of 5 stars. Every course that we had was paired with a wine that Morgan helped choose for us.If you want a unique and special eating experience than look no further than the Orchids at Palm Court. From the historic 1930's when this hotel was built to the renovations with themed venues. Our waiter, Chauncey was a delight and took us for a tour.

Review №2

Quality Meals and service at this spot is very good. The service here is above par. It has a nice interior. I can see why they have a lot of good reviews.

Review №3

Quality Meals here - super tasty. Nice place to relax, people watch, eat good, etc. The service was very sociable and kind. The bill was appropriate. Feels similar to a cafe in Chicago I loved.

Review №4

Have been here twice now for the tasting menu. The first time(about two years ago) it was great! It was ten courses and it seemed most of it came special from the chef (Only a one or two courses were from the regular menu). This time was good as well but did not blow our socks off like the first time. It was eight courses, but everything was from the menu so it didn't seem as special. Also, I believe the menu said $120 for the tasting menu/ person but when the bill came, it was $130. It does not seem like much when we paid about a total of $500 for the two of us but it is worth noting. Also we were there for almost 5 hours from the time we were seated. I would like to have seen a faster pace. The wait staff is always fabulous and attentive.

Review №5

Wonderful night at the Orchids at Palm Court. Excellent service (shout out to our waiter Solomon!) in a beautiful, one of a kind art deco building. We had such a fun time with the ambience and live jazz, delicious food and interesting "bites" sent out by the chef to try.

Review №6

Fabulous atmosphere with exquisite food and impeccable service. If you want to travel back to 1930's opulence, this is your place.

Review №7

We visited Orchids for our 38th wedding anniversary on a Tuesday evening. We almost had the place to ourselves. There was good attention to detail from the staff as they recognized our special occasion with a card and several treats during the meal. Food was what we have come to expect from Orchids, well prepared and thoughtfully presented gourmet food. We enjoyed our evening and plan to return.

Review №8

Quality Meals and the setting at this place is super good. Everyone at our table was quite pleased. Definitely worth a return visit. The bill was average for the menu.

Review №9

Usually service is top notch. Not this time by far and the food was well below par

Review №10

Dale and I 9 years of unity 0ne year of marriage was given the best recommendation for our celebration. Absolutely the best service we have experienced from the beginning of the reservation to the end of our 4 course meal. We will return!

Review №11

Pretty solid fine dining experience for Cincinnati. Food was tasty, though the plates came out quite slowly. Beautiful space and attentive service.

Review №12

My fiance and I stayed at the Netherland Plaza Hotel for our 5th anniversary for the weekend in January. This beautiful restaurant is located inside the hotel, and we kind of decided to go here on a whim, not knowing if they'd be able to cater to our special needs, with us being vegan. Let me tell you, it was an EXPERIENCE. Little did I know that my then boyfriend was going to use this setting to propose, and I am so glad that he did. He had spoken with someone hours before the proposal took place, and our server Tate made sure to take extra care of us, and provide us with a lavish experience. We had never eaten at such fine dining, so this was amazing all around. We explained that we were vegan, and that we weren't really sure what we wanted, but were open to try anything new. The lead Chef kind of took that and ran with it, and did an amazing job. I was able to try things I never knew existed. Every single thing we tried was absolutely delicious. I wish I could remember the names of everything, but this was about 2 months ago, so that's my fault for not reviewing sooner. I do remember that the butternut squash soup was my favorite thing I tried. I wish I could honestly relive that experience a 100 times over, because it was just that good. After the proposal took place, we were treated with sparkling champagne and just a beautiful atmosphere all around. I 100% recommend this establishment for any special occasion you may have where you want to treat yourself. And VEGAN FRIENDLY, which is ALWAYS appreciated!

Review №13

We finally tried this restaurant after being on our list of places to eat in Cincinnati & it they did not disappoint. Food was excellent & done to perfection. We were very satisfied with their service & they were mindful of our plans after the meal. I highly recommend for a nice European-esque dining experience.

Review №14

This was my first time here for Sunday brunch & it is fabulous! The interior decor is all art deco- the gold wall trim, art and tables set with white linen & silver. From the moment we were greeted, service was top notch- attentive and quick. Brunch included: omelet bar, Belgian waffles, fruit & cheeses, shrimp, crab, turkey, the most tender prime rib and more.Take your credit card and get plate fulls of shrimp, waffles and prime rib (did I mention it was tender?). Delicious & so worth it!

Review №15

Finest food, very kind employees, regularly excellent ambience. They charge reasonable rates and the food quality is fantastic. I recommend this place.

Review №16

They're the best around! Not only is the food amazing, they handled it very professionally even when any issues arise.

Review №17

I visit this special place many times because I love the good air that is unique to this place. The team is exceptionally loyal and experienced. The service is extremely fast. Also, the food they prepare is highly distinguished. I frequent often and I was always satisfied. The expense is honest. I recommend this restaurant to to everybody.

Review №18

I like to go with friends to this restaurant with my highest recommendations. I go their often. This recommendation is always successful. The dishes they serve are fantastic and the stuff is attentive and cooperative. Whenever we eat in this place we pass a gorgeous evening. warmly recommended.

Review №19

Celebrated Easter with an elegant Sunday Brunch at the 'Orchids at Palm Court'. Visiting from out-of-town, we chose this restaurant based on great reviews and were very pleased. The Art Deco interior with soaring ceilings was reminiscent of a stately cruise ship. Situated inside the historic Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza, it was within easy walking distance of our downtown hotel. The brunch offered an amazing array of hot and cold gourmet items, including specialty salads, fresh seafood, carved meats, made-to-order omelets, veggies, and pastries. The buffet was self-serve, but an attentive waitstaff provided champagne, mimosas, coffee, and other beverages. We had reservations for a set time, but, had to wait, as did many others. However, the 'good news' of the holiday, being with family, enjoying the old-world setting and later a wonderful meal, made up for the long wait.A historic place with well-prepared food, it was especially good for this special occasion. The upscale brunch was pricey, but, well worth it for adults. If you don't mind paying premium prices, there were limited selections that might appeal to smaller children. For holidays, make reservations well in advance.TIP: Call the restaurant directly, if you are unable to make a reservation through 'Open Table.'

Review №20

If you are looking for an exquisite meal in downtown, this is the place. Service is top-notch, and the wait staff will work to make sure you enjoy your experience with questions like “any allergies we should know about? Our waiter was also very down to earth, and helped us in our first fully coursed meal. The food is beautiful, as well as delicious. My scallops and pork belly were fantastically salty and creamy, and the Blue Cheese beignet were delightful. The room itself is the beautiful Art Deco dining room inside of the Netherland Hotel at Carew Tower. Great experience.

Review №21

My kinda place, fresh made pizzas and cold crafts on tap! Eat in or take a growler and food to go! A relaxing atmosphere with excellent food and friendly service, worth trying in my opinion particularly if you're a 'pie' guy like me. They have lots of craft beer selections (lighter, darker, heavy to hoppy brews) and several wine options, but not full bar - no spirit drinks

Review №22

The atmosphere is exquisite, the liquor and wine selection is out of this world, and the staff is top notch, especially Morgan, Nathan, Carlton and Sabrina. They are attentive, caring, and very personable. The food is also magnificent. If you want to see Cincinnati's finest hidden gem then come here. And ask the bartenders about the history of the Netherland Plaza and Orchid's.

Review №23

I visit this great restaurant quite a bit! This is my favorite place to grab a bite. I go there at least once a month. The cooking is great, the team is welcoming and the prices are reasonable. I like meeting in this restaurant over a good supper.

Review №24

Absolutely amazing. World class food and impeccable service. Best value for money restaurant I have visited in any of the 15 states I've been.

Review №25

The service is incredible. Best food in Cincinnati. Executive Chef came over to our table to spend a few minutes with us. Outstanding experience!

Review №26

I meet with friends this place from time to time! This is the best place to dine. I visit this place frequently. The cooking is very tasty, the workers are helpful and the cost is good. I enjoy eating in this restaurant to have a good lunch.

Review №27

Love love love Happy Hour here. They've got one of the best burgers in town along with some classic cocktails on special. They've got live music most nights. I really enjoy sitting at the bar and taking it all in!

Review №28

I go to this excellent restaurant many times since I love the special air that is exist in this restaurant. The team is highly helpful and well trained. The service is exceptionally efficient. Not to mention, the food they cook is outstanding. I ate there often and I was never disappointed. The payment is reasobable. I suggest this restaurant to to everybody.

Review №29

Our favourite place in the midwest to experience. This must have been our 5th visit, and each visit almost outdoes the last one- and that is saying a lot. Our host, Aaron, and our server, were magnificent. So friendly and knowledgeable. Samantha, our sommelier, was so helpful and helped us pick out a wonderful bottle of wine. We ordered several starters, and had the salmon and prime rib for dinner. Every dish was SIMPLY PERFECTION. The popcorn truffle grits- pure heaven. I can't give away every detail, but this place makes you feel just like a movie star- in the perfect setting for one. We love Orchids and the Netherland Plaza. We simply can't recommend it enough. Thank you for a lovely anniversary celebration!

Review №30

Beautiful art deco atmosphere. Sit at the bar and listen to live lounge music. An awesome spot to sip on a cocktail over great conversation.

Review №31

Fine dining at its best. Excellent service, great food and of course, all this coming at a price - so yes, expensive!I ordered their White Asparagus appetizer ($20) which was just okay. The asparagus was extremely sour and I did not really enjoy it so much. For my main course, I got the Haddock ($42) which was extremely delicious. It's a great venue for a date night.

Review №32

Yesterday was our first time we went to this place. But It is no doubt not the last. We enjoyed the evening a lot with the attentive service, with the excellent meal and wine and with the comfortable charge. We will absolutely come back again.

Review №33

My first visit here was almost 30 years ago when it was located in the Omni Netherland Hotel. While the hotel has changed, the Orchid Room it is still beautiful and by far, the best place to enjoy Sunday brunch in Cincinnati. The elegant Orchid dining room, the kind and attentive staff, and the delicious menu will guarantee a memorable experience. The menu pricing is consistent with what you might expect for any formal dining experience, and worth the money. You will not be disappointed.

Review №34

This an elegant, art deco restaurant in downtown Cincinnati. Beautiful interior. The service is superb with engaging, professional, but definitely not overbearing servers. There was a wonderful jazz band playing. The food was delicious, perfectly prepared and artfully served. There were tasty little surprises between the courses. This is perfect restaurant for a special occasion.

Review №35

This place is simply not worthy of fine dining

Review №36

Beautiful lobby, great table side service, and the dessert was great!

Review №37

Sunday brunch was great! Lots of variety. All of the things you'd expect including fried chicken. The service is great although it took awhile for our server to get to us but once she did she was excellent. She kept the water, coffee and orange juice glasses full. The food kept coming out of the kitchen hot and fresh. If there was a gripe it was with the cakes which looked fantastic but were somewhat dry which made them unappetizing. There were other freshly baked multi berry cobblers, bread puddings and other desserts that more than made up for the chocolate and carrot cakes. It was overall a great experience. One for which I'll be looking forward to having again.

Review №38

Fairytale experience! Bucket list worthy... need I say more?!

Review №39

Would absolutely recommend trying this spot. Exceptional character, delightful dishes, awesome service. I recommend this place.

Review №40

We visited the Orchid for our 5th wedding anniversary during restaurant week. The place is magnificent, the food is very flavorful and the staff are like no other. It was a wonderful experience, one that we will hang on to for a very long time. If you have never experienced high end dining than you really need to try this place out, you will not be disappointed. Thank you Orchid's for a great experience.

Review №41

What can I say... It's fine dining at it's finest. Wonderful food, wonderful staff, in an absolutely gorgeous location. There is no wrong choice on the menu!

Review №42

This place constantly delivers. They have fresh food for fair rates, there no long wait even when the spot is busy.

Review №43

What an amazing meal we had! Great tasting menu, with fantastic wine pairings.

Review №44

Very expansive but great food! Dessert is my favorite!

Review №45

They serve big dishes and for reasonable prices. very friendly staff members. 5 stars from me.

Review №46

Best restaurant EVER. If you live in Cincy and haven't been here, YOU ARE MISSING OUT! Every visit has been exquisite and the service top notch. Never had a bad dish here... prices are very reasonable considering the experience. Pro tip: try the all-you-can-eat Sunday brunch!

Review №47

Amazing food, great service, and lovely ambiance in a beautiful Art Deco building. Definitely on the pricier side, but a nice option for a special night out!

Review №48

Excellent Filet Mignon.. have not had better. Like eating at a beautiful museum. 30 ft.ceilings, sophisticated atmosphere and live band provide fantastic eating experience.

Review №49

We had a party of six and had a great time. The food was delicious. The sommelier made excellent wine pairing suggestions. All of the staff made it a great experience. The venue is historic art deco.

Review №50

Went for a Christmas party, the food offered was excellent. The atmosphere was laid back and the workers were very professional.

Review №51

This restaurants ambiance is unlike anything else in cincy! It gives off the feel of a palace inside with high ceilings, great decor, and craftsmanship. The food is stellar from the scallops and 100 day aged ribeye all the way to the blue cheese beignet. The service was great too. We'll be returning to this wonderful establishment.

Review №52

Over..rated. Over rated

Review №53

Our very special place! Love everytime we've been there! Amazing!

Review №54

Overall great experience. The hotel is amazing, so definitely a very nice/elegant place to celebrate a special occasion. The staff are wonderful, trained impeccably and everyone works together to make the evening special. As you'll possibly note as a common theme with some other reviews, the food is very good, but not superb. I think part of this may be that much more noticeable because of the amazing atmosphere. My sense is that they may be holding back to keep things universally enjoyable. Which it was. It just wasn't amazing. We were still very happy and I'm glad we had our anniversary dinner there. But again, mainly for the ambience. This place has potential for a Michelin (and this review can't be a surprise) if they just stepped outside this "comfort zone" and tried a more bold menu.

Review №55

Best place ever for the best brunchShrimp some prime rib On point I would recommend this 10 out of 10 I will keep coming back

Review №56

Lovely lunch here with some of the great staff. The meal was delicious and we'll portioned. The fish and chips joined my clean plate club. If anything, they just needed a bit of salt (but that is provided, of course). Serving staff were so kind and filled my needs before I could ask.Make sure to look up while you're there. The murals are so well done.

Review №57

Outstanding service. Everyone worked as a team to ensure that our needs were met and even exceeded. Cauliflower soup and Orchid House salad (I requested the Red Wine Vinaigrette, which was delicious) was a great first course. As a second course we had the Mushroom Cappelletti was awesome. The entree of Snapper was so good as was the Halibut; best Halibut I've ever had. I highly recommend Orchid's; definitely worth every penny. I cannot overstate how outstanding the service was. Just a wonderful overall experience.

Review №58

Their Sunday buffet is amazing! Wide variety of food, all presented beautifully! Save room for desserts! They are handcrafted and amazing! Fabulous service! Everything was well done and memorable!

Review №59

The atmosphere was great. The architecture was beautiful and the tables had a ton of privacy despite how some of the pics online made it seem. The staff were so nice, friendly, and attentive. I also had one of the best old fashioneds I've ever had. So cudos to the bar. However the food was, meh , before you factored in the price . I like fancy places , and I'm not afraid of an expensive meal, but too often it felt like what we got was an awesome recipe executed poorly. Maybe just an off night ( Sunday night), but for that price, too off.

Review №60

A lot of fine dining places miss the mark trying to overdo it, this place hits it right in the centre. Fantastic food and setting. The little touches with the bites between courses raise the bar just that bit higher.

Review №61

I think the pictures of my parting gift say it all.

Review №62

I do not go to fine dining restaurants often. My "fine dining" experience is typically Brio (and equivalent priced places) a few times a year. I decided to go here for my one year anniversary with my Girlfriend and was absolutely blown away. This is by far the nicest restaurant I've ever been to and it has set the new standard that I will judge all other fine dining restaurants against. The atmosphere was incredible and the live band complimented perfectly. The staff treat customers as if they are royalty. Of course, with fine dining comes expensive prices, but if done correctly it is absolutely worth it. My girlfriend and I got the "Taste of Orchids" which is 45$ per person. Please note, their "Taste of Orchids" menu was different than what they had online. Including to this, many places state that they only have a live band on Friday and Saturday, but there was one when we came on a Wednesday (Which was a huge surprise). I cannot recommend enough. Thank you for helping make our one year anniversary special.

Review №63

Great ambiance, nice place to listen to live jazz and standards. Great cocktail menu!

Review №64

I call this unique place often as I love the good air that is unique to this restaurant. The personel is extremely attentive and experienced. The service is deeply efficient. Not to mention, the food they serve is exceptionaly good. I frequent more than once and I was always delighted. The expense is reasobable. I recommend this restaurant to all my friends.

Review №65

Just came from Mother's Day brunch. It is always a pleasure eating here. The food is excellent, and always replenished right away. And the staff are always very professional and friendly. And it is worth every bit

Review №66

Great bar and atmosphere. Live music was great. Cocktails and service top notch. Limited menu

Review №67

My extended family and I had dinner at Orchids on Christmas Eve evening to celebrate my 60th birthday. Our reservations we're at 7 pm but we waited until 7:30 to be seated. The prix fixe menu was wonderful as usual. And the service was fabulous. No one really wants to work the Holidays but they were so pleasant and had fun with my 4 year old Granddaughter as well. Kudos to them! But it was 9:22 when the entrees were served. A really, really long wait. Not sure why...there were some empty tables. It was excessively long. And no explanation. Oh well. We'll probably pass next year. Too bad...they are one of my favorites.

Review №68

You like waiting? You like being treated second class for $400 of fine food? You like being ignored for hours as your parents can barely stand, forced to sit on luxurious stairs? Come have your holiday dinner here. Aside from the waitress and caterers who care, these staff are ready to let you know you didn't pay enough.I loved this place aesthetically as a kid but sadly it has shown true colors. We and an Indian family after us were waiting for three hours as the staff refused to offer the seating room we had to find, ignored our questions. Then decided to reluctantly, and I mean that, show us to a table.I'm appalled, appalled and disappointed.

Review №69

Orchids at Palm Court is a high-end fine dining restaurant located in the historic Hilton Cincinnati in downtown. Amid beautiful Art Deco style and artifacts, Orchids is a nice place for a relaxing dinner or go the bistro attached. The food is creative and elegant. Everything is spelled out for you as you have a dining experience. While it is an experience and has great presentation, portions are relatively small. It is expected that you will have at least three-courses and perhaps appetizers for the experience which is fine but expect a relatively high price. Good food but could perhaps have a little more general appeal. It is a fine-dining experience.

Review №70

Although the menu was limited, the food was good and tasty. Service was kind of slow, but friendly. Prices were reasonable.

Review №71

Amazing food. Sexy, beautiful setting. Pretty expensive though

Review №72

Great decor! Great service! Can get a bit crowded. However plenty of seating.

Review №73

Has really gone down hill

Review №74

The absolute best place for a special dinner.

Review №75

Elegant space and amazing array of delicious offerings on the brunch buffet

Review №76

Sunday dinner at Orchids.Great service. The wait staff work as a team. They divide the tasks and they do it well. And, yes, when this method is executed properly, it is a very good way to serve the customer. We had the three-course meal. The portions were not large, but we were also not hungry later than same night. They get creative with the desserts, so make sure to ask before ordering if you like your dessert more on the traditional side. It's not cheap (for a three-course dinner, be prepared to spend $100-$150 per person, depending on what you order to drink), but this is a place where I feel that the experience is worth the price on special occasions. My only less-than-positive comment is that, based on how I felt the next morning, they definitely cook using very large amounts of salt, which is not consistent with the "healthy" image the host portrayed when he brought the menus. I guess that just goes with the territory when you eat out.

Review №77

This is definitely first rate service, food, decor, and ambiance. It is pricey, but worth every penny. Go here for a special occasion, or maybe a romantic getaway. If you love fine food and art deco. Put away your phone and have a real conversation with someone or just look at the architecture.

Review №78

Always great for a cocktail and great jazz music on the weekend!

Review №79

Best restaurant EVER. If you live in Cincy and haven't been here, YOU ARE MISSING OUT! Every visit has been exquisite and the service top notch. Never had a bad dish here... prices are very reasonable considering the experience. Pro tip: try the all-you-can-eat Sunday brunch!

Review №80

Want to feel like a judge on the Food network? Have dinner here! Very fancy, tasty, and expensive place! You definitely won't get what they serve here somewhere else. Best part, though it's fine dining, they don't have all the silverware out at the same time they only bring out what they expect you to use with each dish. Have about 2+ hours set aside for it though.

Review №81

We come here for Mother's day brunch every year for the last 3 years now.Good food selection, buffet style.Waiters are willing to help accommodate for any food allergies or dietary restrictions. The desserts are very delicious as well. You can also get your car valeted and ticket validated so parking is free.

Review №82

Amazing food and service! Highly recommend the scallops and popcorn grits!

Review №83

I have been to Orchids several times in the past and I must say I was highly disappointment during my last dining with them.I had reservations on a Wednesday at 7:30pm. I arrived at 7:23pm and was told we had to wait they were not ready for us even though half the restaurant was open which was seen from the upper level that we strolled through as we waited. After being seated we were given the drink menu and then no one checked on us I had to flag down the waiter to ask for the menu. After asking the waiter said of course normally we give those after you order your drink (this would have been an ok response if anyone had ever come over to take our drink order, also I can't possibly order my drink without knowing what I plan on eating). After ordering we finally had food on our table at 8:40 they failed to bring the sauce that came with the fish, and they didn't give me a knife or fork to cut up the giant piece of pork belly that was in my soup. So I still couldn't eat. The entire meal finally was wrapped up with our desert at 9:30pm. We did not do the course meal but ordered everything to come to the table at once. So to take 2 hours to finish a meal was ridiculous. I felt that our waiter wasn't monitoring his tables. It felt that our time was not valuabled and unfortunately this experience has left me with no intention of going back again. Giving two stars because the food wasn't even great this time. Everything was overly sweat and lacked depth in flavor. I'm not sure what happened because my pervious experiences have been over the top wonderful. Service was prompt and I never needed to ask for anything. The food was balanced and I always looked forward to special events so that I could spoil myself.

Review №84

It's a beautiful location downtown for a lunch. We took about 8 people for a work outing. The food was terrific and reasonably priced. Unfortunately, they got rid of the made-to-order pasta bar which was the main reason we went. That is extremely disappointing.

Review №85

I love this place

Review №86

Really nice unique space in art deco style. Service was not good that o had to wait a long time to get drinks or food at the bar

Review №87

As always, Sunday brunch at Orchids never fails to impress. The buffet has all kinds of foods from gourmet cheeses, traditional breakfast dishes, an omelette bar, a cold seafood bar, savory meats, a pasta bar, and a full dessert table topped off with a gigantic ice sculpture.I enjoyed all of this food while being enveloped by the Art Deco surroundings and the soft sounds of the live jazz band coming from the Apollo Gallery. The price point is a little higher, its $45 a person, but that includes all non-alcoholic drinks, and you will receive exquisite service just like I did.If you're looking for an escape from the hustle and bustle of life and just want to melt into the plush chairs and sip on your never ending beverage, then saunter on over to the most elegant restaurant in all of Cincinnati.

Review №88

Afternoon Tea, which is available once a month, is super fun for your wife's birthday. Wear your fanciest hat! Also, make sure to have a reservation.

Review №89

Excellent meal! One of the best restaurants in town consistently for many years. My wife and I were treated to wonderful food and great service in a beautiful setting. Hard to beat!! Wine pairings were perfect and the food cooked to perfection!

Review №90

The room is beautiful and the service above average. The kitchen was very slow. There was far too much time between courses. The food was good, but not exceptional. Having a reservation for 7:00 P. M. and being seated at 7:30 P. M. is unacceptable. It will be a long time before I return, if ever.

Review №91

If you're looking for a high quality dining experience, this is it. Exceptional food at all times. Be prepared to spend some time at the table as a symphony of orchestrated dishes are laid before you.

Review №92

Fantastic meal and great ambience make for an amazing dining experience. Portions are on the smaller size but the flavors of every dish are just spectacular. The service from start to finish was exceptional, visit's weren't too often but my date and I also never needed for anything during our time. Whether it's to impress clients or having a special date, this is a great restaurant with phenomenal food.

Review №93

Wonderful service. The taste of the food and presentation was terrific. Some of the food was a little chewy and should have been more tender. Overall a great experience and terrific atmosphere.

Review №94

Wonderful historical atmosphere but service and food quality has declined. Had Sunday brunch; food was cold and hostesses rude. Sorry but had to share.

Review №95

French food... delicious. Went there on a Saturday. Service is typically great. This place has a good feel to it.

Review №96

What couldn't be more right about this place!? Friendly staff, amazing drinks, even the bar mix is top notch! Kudos on showing out-of-towners how truly great Cincinnati can be!

Review №97

Just ate the best steak in my 49 year life. My wife & I celebrated our 22nd anniversary. The waiters were excellent. The food to die for. A little pricey but worth every penny.

Review №98

Still the best restaurant in Cincinnati. Exceptional service and fantastic food. Every bite, every sip of the paired wines, and every moment was wonderful!

Review №99

It's unfortunate that AAA gave this horrible restaurant a 5 Diamond Award. I took my wife here for our anniversary. I wanted to take her somewhere nice to make her feel special, but The Orchids ruined our day. After having a tasteless meal, we were served a generic desert plated directly out of a package. How do I know it was out of a package, because I've had the same cheap brownie/cake at another restaurant in Los Angeles, and found the same piece of plastic in the dessert. Yes! There was a shard of clear plastic in the brownie. What do you think Orchids management did when I showed them the plastic in my dessert? They gave us dirty looks, acted suspicious, and didn't even apologize. This made my wife feel horrible! Their managers made us feel like we planted the plastic to get a free meal. They didn't roll out any service recovery whatsoever. If my wife or I had swallowed the sharp plastic shard, Orchids would have been descended on by ODH, and I would have absolutely litigated because of their negligence. This place doesn't deserve 5 diamonds, or even 1 star for that matter! Awful, gross, rude, horribly overpriced!

Review №100

We were here to hang out at the bar and watch the jazz band play. The staff and service is truly 5 star!
