Our family made a special trip down from Northwest Arkansas on Saturday, June 20 to check out Parrot Island Waterpark, followed by dinner at Hooters. We really enjoy the food, the atmosphere and the service at Hooters, and all of those things lived up to expectations. The restaurant was fairly busy, even with limited occupancy because of COVID precautions. Our server, Rachel, was great. She was taking care of several tables AND tending bar, so we understood she was stretched very thin, and it was no problem. Even with that challenge, she took excellent care of us and we enjoyed chatting with her. As we were leaving, one of the managers (we didn't catch her name) thanked us for coming in, as did Rachel. The manager thanked us for our patience and for being so nice to Rachel, who we were told was having a rough night because of rude customers. I'll never understand why some people choose to act low-rent in situations like these. We knew going in that the restaurant, with limited capacity, was likely to be short staffed. Rachel was busting it the entire time we were there, and she went above and beyond to take care of us. We appreciate their consistently good quality and service. If you enjoy Hooters or you haven't been but are curious, please go check it out!
