This place is beautiful if you go definitely recommend sitting out in the patio. First time we went the service was horrible decided to give it another shot, our waiter the second time was THOMAS he was super attentive and respectful super cool guy, that is who I will be asking for everytime i come back. Food is full of flavor and looks nice took a bit long but definitely worth the wait.

Review №2

Just look at the picture! Mouth is watering just thinking about the experience. Above average cost. Portion size was perfect for larger appetite. Quality of food was amazing!

Review №3

As always, Stonehouse exceeded expectations. We visited for Mother in Law's birthday, and every part of our experience was outstanding.Of particular note - our server Thomas went above and beyond to make our dinner enjoyable. He was helpful, attentive, and affable for the entire evening. Can't wait to go back!

Review №4

Food very good. Steak was great. Beautiful dessert. Very beautiful interior and exterior. Service is pretty terrible. Was there for hours (2 of us were there for 3 hours). Don't expect good waitstaff. It would be a 5/5 had the waitstaff been how they should be. I think you pay for quality food and you recieve quality food. I will say that the crouton in the salad was rock hard though, but that's my only food complaint.

Review №5

Love their food! Wow! Big portions too! Big size desserts! Amazing tasting stake! Really good tasting food! Friendly staff! Great service!

Review №6

I have been looking forward to this visit, unfortunately it was not a positive one. Not sure what happened but the bartender or manager not sure who he was did invite us back to give them another shot. Which was very much appreciated! We will be giving it another shot!

Review №7

Hi. I wanted to let you know that we called and reserved a table for four on the patio in the shade yesterday. We sat down, got our drinks and appetizers and then we're asked to be moved to the scorching sun because someone else had reservations for that table. We noticed that that was a bigger party that eventually showed up at "our" table. This was embarrassing and unprofessional. I am sorry to inform you that after this experience we and our friends will not be back to this establishment. This was our second time there and we had problems the first time as well with the hostess and the waiter knowing their jobs as professionals. Great atmosphere, but the service is a catastrophy. We also noticed that menu entrees themselves are different online on the website than that in the restaurant as well as the prices...YOU LOST WHAT COULD OF BEEN MULTIPLE GREAT COSTOMERS. We will not be back!!!!!

Review №8

The management is very disappointing. After talking to the kitchen manager about a job and agreeing on a starting date, the manager did not respond to my text inquiries for a time to come in. He left me hanging. He also allowed me to walk freely through the kitchen and bar area during COVID.

Review №9

This is a really beautiful building inside and out with a very nice patio as well. They also have one of the better selections of bourbon and scotch that I have seen at any local restaurant. Unfortunately that's about as good as it gets for me at this place. My wife and I had the spinach dip and pita chip appetizer which was pretty good but the dip needed a lot of salt to get there. We then had the filet and a side of the bacon mac and cheese. This is where its gets bad because the filet and everything on the plate was absolutely stone cold. The steak was also underseasoned, and by that I mean it had zero seasoning on it. The mac and cheese while being fairly good had the unfortunate aspect of being overcooked to the point the cheese was broken down and gritty. If it was anywhere else it would not bother me nearly as bad but for the price you pay here it is completely unacceptable to have overcooked mac and cheese and then an unseasoned steak with everything on the plate ice cold.I will come back here again if for nothing else than to sit on the patio and enjoy a glass of laphroaig and music. I absolutely will not be ordering anything to eat here again however. I had high expectations for the prices they charge and was completely let down by the quality of the food. In my opinion they have a long way to go to be able to justify the pricing.

Review №10

Had the Blackend salmon food was good as usual

Review №11

Great atmosphere for lunch! Order the burger and brussel sprouts. Burger order medium rare, a little over cooked. Service was great! Would like to try the chef's table one night for dinner. Overall a good experience.

Review №12

Thus is such a cute place! The decor was charming. I had a burger without bun and salad. It was cooked nicely and thd salad was good. Many in my group had the salmon sandwich and were very pleased.

Review №13

The best steak and great outdoor seating.

Review №14

This restaurant will fail without a doubt. Some of the worst food/management/service I have ever had. Could have been a great place. Really sad. When they first opened it was good. Has just steadily gone down hill to this point. The absolute bottom. Save your money, Go to McDonald's.

Review №15

This is an amazing spot for an intimate dinner. Great for date nights! The atmosphere is beautiful, the lighting is perfect, it's cozy but still sophisticated. The food hits your pallette perfectly. Always prepared beyond satisfation, Plated beautifully, and never disappointing.I do not recommend taking children. I personally like how I was able to have an amazing dinner and not have the interruptions of loud children. As a parent myself, no children on date night is what I want!I highly recommend.

Review №16

The appetizers were excellent, the sides were incredible. It's just a shame someone has decided to cut back on the quality of the beef and pork they're purchasing. Not sure who decided to do this but the main course is the last place you should cut costs. My strip steak was cooked correctly but was among the toughest and lowest quality cuts I've ever had at a high-end restaurant. I may add that it also came out nearly cold.I visited this place shortly after it opened and was impressed, but it certainly hasn't aged well. I leave here unexpectedly disappointed.

Review №17

This was my second time to this establishment. The service was excellent, the beverages were superb, but the quality of the food left something to be desired. I had the duck, and my wife had the Chilean Sea Bass. Neither was cooked to our satisfaction. On my first trip we ordered the seafood appetizer, and the crab legs were like rubber. I am not sure we will be back for a 3rd time.

Review №18

Filet was good, but not great which at $37 price should he great. Portions were small. Service was a bit slow. Probably wouldn't go back unless to try a less expensive burger.

Review №19

Beautiful Place to have a drink and mealOutside patio is wonderful. The staff is fantastic and politely professional with customers. Love the Oysters on Half Shell,Half a Boar or Full Boar is fabulous with Cheese & fruit!!Duck is unbelievably moist and its a great family atmosphere.Go, Enjoy and Share your experience too please.

Review №20

Good food, good service, pricey but worth the special occasion splurge

Review №21

Went in last night for dinner, I've heard good things about them, there were two other tables there plus us. So not too busy, we ordered two steaks, an 8oz fillet and the 14 oz ribeye... well, I dont know what the chef did, but the ribeye i ordered definitely wasnt the right cut, we told the server and she went and asked, came back and told me that the chef made a mistake and gave me a fillet as well, also went into saying that he "cut the steak in half to cook it evenly" what?!... and it wasn't even topped right as per their menu. Ok whatever, it was stil good, just don't see why they needed to lie. Now, I check my a bank account and I have been charged about $25 bucks more than my receipt said last night. Thanks guys!! I have photos of the charge on my card this morning showing $165.94... (that wasnt our total on our receipt last night) just went and checked... and now its mysteriously changed back to $138.... please beware everyone!dont let them rip you off!

Review №22

Just moved to town and went here on the recommendation of my husband's boss. We are thrilled to have found an amazing local restaurant so close to our house. This will definitely be a regular spot for us! Great food, wine list, and service!

Review №23

Atmosphere, great service, food was amazing, loved the location!

Review №24

The place was pretty mediocre. We went with a fairly large party. One person ordered a special with a large steak, they came back awhile later and said they were out, told us we needed to buy two steaks instead for considerably more. The steak had to be sent back the first time due to being under cooked. I ordered the salmon, the sides were petty good but the salmon itself was over cooked. The prices were not too bad and was good setting for groups.

Review №25

It was amazing the big cheese boat tasting amazing

Review №26

When I had first heard of Stonehouse, I heard mixed reviews. I tried the place out for brunch 2 years ago and it was pretty good. But my latest experience at Stonehouse was absolutely exceptional. This restaurant has reinvented itself over the years.I was a bit concerned at dinner because it took a couple minutes to get drinks on the table, but once the food & drinks started coming.... holy smokes. The starter salad was full of taste and vibrantly colored veggies. The dressing to salad ratio was just right. Highly impressed by the house made ranch.I also enjoyed the best Old Fashioned I'd ever had. Modern style, it was as smooth a cocktail as I've ever had. Highly recommend the SH Old Fashioned. My fiance and I shared a ribeye. It was quite tasty, but I was really impressed with the sides. The potatoes and garden veggies mix were superior in quality and flavor. My highest praise goes to the chef!I recommend Stonehouse for your fine dining experience in Fort Smith. Great food, great drinks, and an elegant atmosphere. Enjoy!

Review №27

Our 3rd time back and V was the best waitress we have ever had. Will definitely be returning. Highly recommend their filets.. worth the wait!

Review №28

The food is amazingly delicious and unique! The atmosphere and service are also great. This is one of mine and my husband's favorite places to eat.

Review №29

Great atmosphere

Review №30

First time we went I think they mixed up our orders with another table. My wife finally talked me into giving it another try and let me tell you this I'm glad I did. It was a complete different experience the food was awesome probably the best meal I've ever eaten in Fort Smith. It's a tad bit pricey but definitely a very unique setting

Review №31

Had a friend's birthday party here had a great time !!!!

Review №32

We came here on our wedding anniversary and it definitely impressed the wife. Amazing little restaurant with a great atmosphere. We had than ahi tar tar and shrimp cocktail for an appetizer and they were amazing. Wife had the pork tenderloin she loved it and I had the flat iron steak and it was also amazing. The only complaint is the dessert we had was not at the same level as the rest of our dinner. Overall I enjoy the food and would definitely come back

Review №33

Interviewed for a position at this bar/restaurant. The manager was clearly intoxicated as he interviewed me, and was drinking a beer and a whiskey during the interview process. If this is the standard, and he's leading by example, I would be afraid for food safety and cleanliness reasons, nevermind the unprofessional demeanor.

Review №34

I've been here on several occasions from brunch, to lunch, and dinner. The food is delicious. They use fresh ingredients, and they even have a table called the Chef's Table, where you are seated with a view of the chefs as they prepare your food for you at no additional cost. The decor is pretty rustic with thick wooden tables and chairs and lit by Edison style bulbs that give a warm, laid back ambience. The food is on the pricey side, but that's expected of farm-to-table style dining. The staff are usually pretty nice and accommodating.

Review №35

Food was not great but atmosphere was awesome.

Review №36

Super slow 2.5 hours for mediocre steak, should have gone to does....side of asparagus topped with a fried egg, 3 stalks of undercooked under seasoned asparagus with a burnt-raw egg on top. Wont go back gave two stars because of the historical significance

Review №37

Good place to have a good meal.

Review №38

Clean, classy, elegant and top notch food and service. Great atmosphere and a joy to sit outside in great springtime evening temperatures.

Review №39

The food was very good, the plates looked very nice when they came to the table. The history of the building is neat. The portions are small so don't plan on sharing. No dinner salad no sides just meat on a layer of sweet potato with nuts on top.We ordered a orange margarita it was not very good it tasted like a bitter screwdriver with salt on the rim I really excited more for the prices and the hype.

Review №40

Awesome patio, beautiful landscape and friendly staff. Food is always great quality. The Filet is a winner and I highly recommend the yukon mashed potatoes.

Review №41

I loved it and it was a wonderful experience! The old schoolhouse was beautifully renovated and decorated and had a quiet, cozy atmosphere. The food was superb! It's a bit expensive and compared to other higher-end restaurants of this caliber, I do wish there was more of that delicious food for the price!

Review №42

Visited Stonehouse last night with my wife for our 50th wedding anniversary. Excellent food and service.Want to compliment waiter Leah. Great job. Nice personality. Beautiful girl. Great asset to the Stonehouse.

Review №43

Food was good; service was good; environment felt good for a date night. We enjoyed the evening. The only rub I had was when the check came. Instead of each couple getting their own check, we had to sit and divvy it all up. Not good when you're on a date. We asked for separate checks. Minor, but left a bad taste in the end.

Review №44

Nice place manger was really nice went for a job but was taken but may get one soon hope so

Review №45

Dined in during the evening without reservation. They seated us with no problem and even upgraded us to the chefs table. Most items are pricey but the food is amazing. The staff was great too! Overall a wonderful experience. Highly Recommended.

Review №46

My wife and I had dinner, server was very attentive, I had a steak , the meat was agility meat but lacking seasoning. Pretty bland. I asked for steak sauce which I hardly use. A1 was my only choice.. kinda disappointed about the steak. Everything else was superb. Great atmosphere and good wine.

Review №47

My favorite place. Chef is awesome! Totally worth every penny!Waitstaff is excellent and caters to your every whim.I went here for my birthday. It's my new favorite in West Arkansas.

Review №48

Nice waitstaff and great food.

Review №49

Amazing food and great staff!

Review №50

Great fine dining food, a large bar, cozy atmosphere, and great for a special date.

Review №51

One of the best places to eat in Fort Smith! Great steaks, great apps, great drinks, great atmosphere! You definitely need to have a meal here once.

Review №52

Good experience. Great food. Very expensive.

Review №53

Wait staff was great. Food was ok. Lovely ambiance.

Review №54

Salmon was waaaaaay too salty! I ordered root vegetables with it they were covered in salt and pepper. Our server was nice. I won't go back.

Review №55

We were part of a large group. The service was excellent. We sampled many appetizers including raw tuna nachos, spinach dip, shrimp cocktail, and large cheese tray. They were all delicious. I had pork tenderloin and it was very tender and served on sweet potatoe casserole. The ribeye steaks were a popular choice and everyone said they were excellent. We also sampled 3 desserts: Banana cake, cheesecake, and creme brulee. I highly recommend the desserts.Overall great experience. Prices are moderate, but we were there celebrating a special occasion.

Review №56

Good. Nice place

Review №57

Very nice flavorful filet and perfectly cooked. Small cozy atmosphere with romantic rustic decor. We enjoyed!!!

Review №58

Excellent atmosphere, and wonderful food. Our waiter was so nice, and very accommodating to our needs.

Review №59

Nice people and beautiful scenery plenty activity

Review №60

Didn't even get past drinks considering customer service. Had a reservation for 5pm and considering it was my girlfriend's birthday we arrived promptly, walked in to two women sitting at the bar while the rest of the house was empty. The hostess than tried to sit us at a table in the corner the size of a toddler table. I asked if we could possibly sit somewhere else, preferably a larger table which wasn't in a dark corner and was told no, mind you the whole place was empty. In return we were sat at a small table, completely dissatisfied from the get go. In my book price is nothing as long as customer service is given accordingly.

Review №61

Everything was outstanding. Great steaks, appetizers, desserts...and impeccable service. Very nice, historic setting.

Review №62

Fancy food flavor and prices!

Review №63

The food was very good and the service was good, but there prices are way too high because for 3 people to eat and drinks is $100.00 so make sure you have plenty of money, and I'll never go back again. 3 people can eat stake at western zisland 2 times and still have money left out of $100.00. That's the truth

Review №64

Absolutely amazing meal, lovely dining area, and very attentive staff. Quite extravagant, but worth it.

Review №65

Where do I start? It was wine Wednesday so my wife and I ordered the flight of 3 red wines and found a amazing pinot which we both ordered a glass of. Dinner came and my fillet mignon was cooked to a perfect medium rare and tender enough that I used my butter knife to cut. The Yukon golden mashed potatoes were the best mashed potatoes I've ever had. The greens mix was wonderful. Did I mention the duck my wife ordered was amazing as well? Highly recommend the Stone House.

Review №66

The food is great. Wouldn't hurt to bring some bread to the table while waiting for the food. This is customary for any nice restaurant. Lowering the music volume would help with conversations at the table.

Review №67

Excellent experience. Our server Leah was GREAT. The food was fantastic. I had the sea bass and it was cooked to perfection. My father loved the braised pork tenderloin. I'm looking forward to my next visit.

Review №68

Nice atmosphere, EXCELLENT SERVICE and FOOD. Will be back in the near future.

Review №69

It was decent steak and a good atmosphere. There wasn't really anything special about the drinks, and all of their menu isn't available every night. Personal opinion is that the food isn't worth that much money but it's a nice dining experience.

Review №70

Some of the best food I have ever eaten! And you should definitely ask for Brittany to be your server. She is amazing!

Review №71

This was our 7th time having dinner at Stonehouse. Our previous meals have been good. Tonight was not. My wife's Spring Berry Chicken salad was very good. However the salmon I ordered was not, it was totally overcooked along with the crab as a topping. It was crispy on parts of the fish instead of being moist and tender. I was disappointed during this visit, Our waiter was very friendly and professional. Hope this review prevents other diners from having a similar experience.

Review №72

I enjoy the warm decor, great wine choices and fantastic steaks. Wonderful dining experience.

Review №73

Great food and beautiful decor! My husband had the Chaffee Firehouse burger and said it was the best burger he'd had in a long time. I had the spinach salad with chicken and warm bacon dressing. Delicious!

Review №74

A time out of hustle of the fast pase of season...spend evening of great and tasty food..waitstaff are exceptional!...GO ROBERT...THANK YOU!

Review №75

The service was great and the food was delicious. Rustic upscale atmosphere, outdoor seating available. The only cons are the portions are small and the open floor plan makes it very loud in there.

Review №76

Jerri did a very good job as our server. Food was excellent. Patio was very nice.

Review №77

First off all restaurants have good and bad days which is a bummer cause if we go on a bad day we won't return. With that being said we really enjoyed our visit we had a great attentive server our ribeyes were cooked to perfection and tasted wonderful. The ambiance was nice. We will be returning!4

Review №78

Wish this place was open for lunch again!!! This Was An AWESOME place for Lunch!

Review №79

Can't tell you about the food. Didn't hang around. Had one guy who was waiting about six tables (one was an 8-top). He was also trying to be the hostess. The guy was completely in the weeds. When you have all the walls, floors, and ceiling as hard surfaces and have one big room, the acoustics are like a basketball gym. This is obviously a place where the local wannabe rich ladies go to be seen. You know... "Upscale" for people who don't understand the term and think anything overpriced just had to be good. If you want great upscale, well semi-upscale, in Fort Smith, Doe's is a much better choice. I guess $50 per person rates as upscale in Fort Smith. The final straw was there was a note on the reception desk that someone was a jerk and it was underlined several times. Wholly unprofessional.I ran out of the and went to IHOP, thereby having a much more professional and enjoyable experience and, I would bet a lot, better food.

Review №80

Wonderful food and service. Ate here 3 different times (once for lunch and twice for dinner). Had the salad at lunch with chicken and it was amazing. Had to steak both times for dinner and it was by far the best steak in the area and one of the best I have had ever.It is a an expensive place to eat but well worth it. (It's not more expensive than Does and it's better for comparison)Will definitely be back. Just don't forget to make a reservation because you usually won't be able to get a table without one. It's that good.

Review №81

Restaurant has a neat atmosphere. Lunch prices are average prices ($8-10/option) and features a small menu with sandwiches and burgers. Dinner prices are higher with the typical offerings.Lunch has some good sandwiches available, but the fries are sometimes limp. Every time I've been for lunch there's never been a wait.

Review №82

Steaks were amazing!!! Service was excellent, I recommend a lot of my friends to come eat here.

Review №83

Our experience with StoneHouse was wonderful. The food and service were amazing. It is always a "splurge" because it is an expensive dinner but it is so worth it. The steaks are so delicious and the sides are so fresh and tasty.

Review №84

Food was delicious...came with a group for a book club gathering and everyone was completely pleased...I had a $6 burger that was excellent! The fries are fantastic. Everything was grommet but served in hefty size!

Review №85

Was not impressed. Beautiful place but we went at lunch & just was not impressed with the sandwich we got. Not for everyone but I'm sure some people love it. Probably for the ambiance.

Review №86

It was great I'll tell everyone that its has great steaks and service

Review №87

Excellent service and great food!

Review №88

The filet mignon was great and the mushroom risotto was absolutely fantastic. 10/10 would eat again.

Review №89

Staff - not so friendly. I expected a lot better customer service. Food - great! I ordered the 10 oz flat iron and it was astounding. I haven't found a steak that great in a while. Price - a tad too much simply due to the fact that the overall customer experience was subpar. Amp that up and I would be more than happy to come again. I like to feel welcome and appreciated for coming in. Plus that's how you make your tips.

Review №90

What an unexpected and pleasant dining experience. The food is so tasty. Probably one of the best sandwiches I've ever had and the side salad that came with my husband's meal was so delicious, I had to order one too. Our server, Keanen was terrific! We had our dog with us so we sat on the patio and everyone was very welcoming. The restaurant and patio are tastefully decorated. I have only one small suggestion and that would be to provide some kind of shade outside. Overall, a wonderful time. I'm really looking forward to coming back soon.

Review №91

Over priced tough steak

Review №92

WOW! Stonehouse is WONDERFUL! However, it can get loud when full! We go around five to avoid the heavy crowds. Lots of great service! Waiters are well informed on menu AND wine selections! We have learned a lot!

Review №93

Good food even though mine was not hot and my husband's was not what he ordered.

Review №94

The flat iron steak was fantastic!

Review №95

Amazing food, amazing service

Review №96

Very relaxing atmosphere and a great bartender. We didn't eat, but expect to go back soon!

Review №97

LOVE STONEHOUSE! Amazing food and a wonderful atmosphere! I love how they preserved the school house and saved the floorboards and made them as part of the tables and the big accent wall. Is not too pricy but you get exactly what you pay for. Big plates and a healthy variety. They were very willing to accommodate for my food allergies. Very highly recommend!

Review №98

Great food. Reasonable prices. Nice to have one more locally owned farm to table restaurant in the area.

Review №99

Cool place.

Review №100
