Just had a bad experience at this McDonald's. First of all I like McDonalds, and this one is a place where I've gone as far as I can remember. Nevertheless, their customer service was meager. I was refused the ability to order at the cashier, and was told I needed to order through the new touchscreen booths. So I calmly asked again if I could just order from the cashier and they told me clearly "no". So I went back to the booth and I couldn't get an order I wanted due to their limited options. For example, let's say I want a hamburger with a lettuce wrap instead of buns, or any other order where I would want to add or hold an ingredient. It wouldn't be possible or a lot more difficult to make a request like that at the booth. I was told to order at the booth and then go to the cashier and ask them to change the order, that is counterintuitive. Taking my order in the first place from the cashier would have been much better. So I left. I didn't get to eat what I wanted, do to the inconveniences. Or what if I was an elderly man, and I don't like machines. Or if I was someone with a unnoticeable disability. Their touchscreen booths couldn't of helped. What a terrible experience.I don't blame the employees, because it is probably management who chose to do this.
