Yesterday (11/16/2020) morning I went there on my 30 min lunch break. It was 10:15am. The woman in the drive thru made me wait a couple mins and it was only a car in front of me. I asked for a chicken supreme tenders combo and she said they weren't ready so I ordered a combo of chicken sandwich supreme instead. She was with an attitude. I paid and left. On my way back to work, I started to eat my fries and they weren't fresh but I was starving so I had no choice... when I got to work I opened my sandwich and the chicken was undercooked! I looked inside and it was just as if it was flipped for a little bit and then flipped again and thats it.. It made me nauseous and obviously ruined my appetite. I definitely won't go there no more. At that time they should have everything ready for costumers and offer a good service plus provide good food. Such a bad experience. I took pictures and unfortunately I couldn't go back there to physically complain because of time restriction. You should implement the cleaning and food regulations or find a better staff.

Thanks for locking the door as you watched us walk around and didn't bother to motion "oh we're closed!" And then we walked to the drive up window because we walked over from the hotel only to be told you don't serve walk-ups and asked us to get our car and drive thru (lol btw). We just wanted two drinks. Did you guys even know I asked the car who pulled up to order to get drinks for us and I gave them cash? So thanks for actually serving walk-ups. So, thanks for that.

I proceed to see what was a long line and I was needing to go to work so I decided to just run in. But the doors wore lock and business going through the drive thru. Every time I go to this place is usually a bad experience.

Worse barbeque in the nation. Never had watery bbq, soggy, nasty. Cashier had attitude bout sandwich. Ask me"well what do you want me to do about it". I was shocked and lost for words. Slow workers. Only two were trying to keep up with orders. Two young boys were moving as slow as honey in January. Why are these slow, unconcerned workers allowed to stay on the job?I ordered two coffees and two blue berry biscuits. They made fresh coffee and the biscuits had been out for awhile. The manager came in and was turning in circles, not able to keep up with what was going on.Maybe Bojangles should speed their money on training staff instead of putting their name on the Charlotte Colosseum

Great food, outstanding service, especially the shift supervisor (I don't remember his name, but he was an African American dude in his late 20s-early 30s) he had a mostly new crew and still had things running smoothly, constantly answering the questions of the new employees and demonstrated an outstanding example of what Management and customer service in the fast food (or food industry in general) should be. Kudos to him, and I can only hope for his future success. Also, the pimento cheese and chicken biscuit meal is probably the best thing to ever come out of fast food.

They have no customer service, and zero motivation. The lady who worked the window said they were waiting on fries should be 3 minutes just pull around and we'll bring it to you, no problem I understand..... Ten minutes later I go in and they treat me like I'm a inconvenience to them for coming in all the while I'm looking at a bin of hot fries that were there when I walked in the door.

Known for their chicken, fried and dirty rice but definitely not their service. I went through the drive through last night and the drive through staff that took my order was less than pleasant. I know it's fast food but it cost nothing to be nice. Overall, the food was good and my order was correct.

Sat in front of the drive through line over 10 minutes with only an initial "I'll be with you in a moment". Several cars got out of the line behind us and just left. We pulled up to the window to see if we could get service only to be ignored and the truck behind us get immediately served.

I've tried to post before. Went inside to order. 1 Followed by a drive thru customer with a wrong order.2 Employee hanging out at end of counter on customer side resting his chin and hands on clean trays for dining room patrons. 3 Another employee eating out of box brings it to same counter . 4 Manager reaches in dirty box no gloves,fills box with food and returns to pulling orders after touching dirtybox.Both employees blocking counter at end where customers get their orders. They were not working. Hand touching between customers side and employees side is and was a dirty to clean side. Should not happen.

I have been here several times and it is always out of cooked chicken. This time was extremely bad with only 3 people working. Waited in drive through for 10 minutes just to order. Then I was told it would be 13 minutes for chicken to cook. It took another 30 minutes to get the meal. Bad news is they served everyone after me before getting my food. So slow food and service.

We visited the Bojangles at 11137 EastIndependence Blvd on Friday, October 25, 2019. As we entered, we noticed that 93 rating. The restaurant was filthy. Food dried up in and on the outside of the warming table. I spoke with the manager and server.If at all cost and your health, please avoid thisbojangles.

Drive thru is horrible! They keep there people sitting at the speaker to take customer orders on the inside, I sat at the speaker for 15 minutes and I kept saying hello she finally answered and said we are waiting on customers! I always go here for breakfast but I am rethinking my choice lost a good customer!

I bought from this place using postmates and when i got my order with sweet tea i realized it smelled a little funny, after close inspection it was way past over due, pouring it out into my sink it was filled with black specs it was like an ant colony in one bottle. It actual made me want to vomit.If you're going to order from this place please be aware of how they treat their overdue products. I recommend a different Bojangles besides this store.

Fast friendly staff and a very helpful manager. Biscuits tasted like they were just out of the oven and were perfectly cooked. There was absolutely no wait and the store was rather busy. Every request I made was accommodated cheerfully and accurately. 5pm dinner service.

My daughter loves Bojangle's and we've rarely had a bad experience, but this location stands out as the worst. It was 6:35pm when we ordered so you would expect fresh food. The fries were warm but very rubbery like they had been the for hours. The Pepsi syrup was out. The chicken on the line looked completely dried out. We ordered two cinnamon biscuits with our order, but the ones on the line were old so they thru them out and said they would bring them to us. After we were done eating I had to go stand at the counter and wait while they actually cooked the cinnamon biscuits, we received them at 7:02pm. I should also say that they were not busy.

Show up at drive through and told... one moment, when no one else is there, this happened twice, and it was a long moment, drove off twice, went there at 6:20 on a sunday (they open at 6) was told sorry, not serving food yet. Went in to talk to a manager, she was on her personal phone laughing away, once done I shared my complaints, her only response was.... uh huh, uh huh, uh huh, no apology, no we will try to do better. Wendy's is next door, alternatives are Wendy's or go hungry this location should be shuttered.

Dined in at this location yesterday around 9:30p.m. and the food wasn't too bad but wasn't great either. No big deal, I ate with my lady and left about at 9:55p.m. . Here's where the trouble started; my lady accidentally left our house keys and her purse inside the Bojangles. By the time we retraced our steps back to this Bojangles, they had already closed. No big deal, I called the customer service number, asked when the first employees would arrive in the early morning and I was told that at 4:00 a.m. there should be somebody there who can help. So I was unable to go home, so I parked at Wal-Mart up the road and waited. When 4:00 rolled around I drove back to this Bojangles and saw the employee who I assume cooks in the morning outside leaning on the back of her car. I explained the situation and I asked her if she could look in the lost and found and see if a purse with keys in it was in there. She replied to me," That's none of my business, I don't care what you lost. I am not opening anything for anyone and you can come back later if you want something. Alright, bye." I said to her, " Okay then sorry to bother" and drove away. I came back at about 5:30a.m. and she was there with a few other employees and she asked me," What can I get for you?" I said I would really like that purse my lady left here earlier. I really need to get to my house and get to bed." I explained again what it looked like and she took a few minutes under the register and then came back up and said," Who are you anyways? Why would you have a purse? Are you related to the woman with this?" At this point I got angry and told brought my wife inside and said "It is her purse, I have told you that again and again now may we please have it so we can go home tonight?" She finally handed it over and we went home.So point is, the food here has always been fine, the service is usually good. I come here once a week at least. But the way I was treated last night by that employee was unacceptable. I reported the rudeness displayed to the Customer Service Office in Atlanta. I will not come to this location again until I am apologized to by a manager and reassured that I will not be treated like a lying bag of trash again here. My time was completely wasted because of pure rudeness.

Disgustingly slow service and fully staffed with even more disgusting human beings. I've heard and seen nothing but absolutely unacceptable behavior from employees to other staff members and to top it all off their managers seem to join in on mistreating the employees, encourage it even. If this was my business I'd fire all my managers and hire some with dignity who will defend their employees when mistreated by coworkers. It's terrible that people like this are granted positions of power just so they can abuse their employees and encourage their employees to do the same.

You would find a better meal going through the dumpster of the Wendy's next door. This place is seriously unclean. The floors are covered in food and other junk, the tables and cabinets are literally falling apart, and employees often smoke directly in front of the door. I can only imagine the state of the kitchen if this is how they treat the seating area.

Sitting in the drive thru currently. It has been 27 minutes...on a Sunday afternoon. No sign of moving. I may die here And I had to re order at the window because they had it wrong. Pray for me.Update - 37 minutes later I made it out. I only had to ask for mayo 3 times, and my order of Bo rounds twice. 6 cars were lucky enough to pull out behind me so they didn't have to pay and suffer. Might be for the best to pick a different place.

I deliver for many different restaurants coming in here today was a disgrace. there was a line of people just standing there waiting on food. Nothing was ready. No food was in the bar. You guys absolutely dropped the ball here. People need to be fired people need to be replaced here. this was awful it was that bad. There was a full 5 minutes of everybody standing there waiting on their food and no one was in the front they were all in the back. The trash piles were visible at least 3 feet above the rim in the kitchen. Your floors were absolutely disgusting. I don't know who the manager is or who does the hiring but they all need to be replaced. Bring in a new manager someone that can pluck the weeds because there's a lot here. Being a manager myself I know that some coaching and developing can go a long ways. This is a restaurant you know people are going to order food. you can get on Google and search your own restaurant and see if when a pop is expected because Google actually predicts it. For the time being I will ignore every order that comes through for this store. Y'all need to get it together and fast! Accountability absolutely zero excuses. I was ashamed to deliver the food from this store. I halfway about ask the customer to cancel the order because I was that scared to drop this food off.

Where do I start: we were the only ones in the line they took my order and then nobody was making it. I finally asked a person that was still making drive thru what about my order. He said sorry what did you order, they proceeded to make it. got to the table, started to eat and the chicken was WAY too GREASY!!!!! Dirty rice was VERY DRY and only Luke warm. Now I LOVE my Bojangles chicken,but this franchise was the worst. I am appalled that is still up and running. I will NEVER go there AGAIN!!!!!

I was there today around 720 pm. Service was slow cashier seemed nervous and unsure of what he was supposed to do and his co-workers seemed to be ok with it. Co-workers seem to blow him off the manager lady was no where in site when it was obviously getting busy and they looked understaffed but made sure to waste more time talking to the cashier about something in the back and never came up to the front or the kitchen to help out when they obviously needed it. The cashier was a young man and was nice and did his best when he realized noone was going to start up the front counter orders to take orders and putting them together at the same time calling back for rounds and time check on biscuits. He was also the only one that greeted me everyone else just walked around w fusterated looks on their faces. When putting out the orders the cashier was friendly while the other just abruptly set tray down n walked off before u had a chance to ask for sauce or anything

I am absolutely disgusted and heartbroken by our experience at the bojangles in Matthew's off independence today. A poor sweet girl with special needs was working in the front lobby mopping the floors. She was very kind and very talkative and at first I was so very happy that bojangles gave her a chance at such a job, because unfortunately not many companies do. As we get our food and sit down to eat, this sweet angel asked us if we needed anything, or if she could help us in any way, we both told her we were fine and thanked her for asking. She had the biggest smile on her face. We started to enjoy our meal, about the same time the girl tries to speak to her manager (a male), who ignore her. She actually screamed his name multiple times trying desperately to ask him a question to which he just continued to ignore her pleas. With great disdain I watched as she walked away from the counter looking utterly defeated... and went back to mopping the floor. A few moments passed and she came back to our table (we were then the only other people in the lobby besides herself) and told us that when we were done ahead be more than happy to take our trash and such and clean up for us, I smiled and looked her I'm the eyes and thanked her again, she quickly apologized as if she was bothering us and I told her "you're fine sweetheart, thank you so much for all of your help." And she went back to work. Again a few moments pass as we are finishing up our meal, she noticed one of the girls behind the counter and tried to ask her a question, the girl also ignored her the first few times, then in the most disgusting, vile manner, the girl behind the counter then laughed and turned away from her to face the kitchen, making some hushed remark and right after everyone in the kitchen was laughing at this poor sweet girl, again defeated, she walked back to where we were. She grabbed her mop and I'm sure the thought we couldnt hear her, but my heart shattered into pieces when she said to herself "they don't understand, they just dont understand me, that's all." Then quickly followed by "this is why I like machines. Machines are better than people because they dont tease me and make fun of me." I HAD TO SWOLLOW THE HUGE LUMP IN MY THROAT AND FIGHT BACK THE TEARS! I called immediately after we left to speak to the manager, who I supposedly was speaking to on the phone, told her what happened, she responded with "I'll let the manager know." No apology. No remorse. And... didnt you JUST tell me YOU were the manger?!? I'm beyond livid and I dont think I'll be dining there again unless I see her inside... and i will hug her and make sure any remarks or snickering done by fellow employees dowsnt go unnoticed. I'll be calling back tomorrow morning to speak to another manager about this. just because someone is different than you, it doesnt give you the right to make them feel less like a human being.

I love bojangles, but this was the worst bojangles experience of my entire life. I came to this bojangles locations around 6:50am on july 29 and ordered a cajun filet biscuit combo. I got the one with pimento cheese and the cheese came completely cold as if it were in a fridge which made the rest of the sandwich completely cold. The seasoned fries, my favorite part about bojangles, tasted like they were literally reheated from yesterday. I threw away the entire bag. I went through drive through so i guess I spent 8 dollars for a cup of coffee. Never go to this bojangles. You'll regret it.

Staff could use some training on cleaning and putting together the food. My sandwich appeared like it was slopped together and also made incorrectly. When I went back inside, rather than make me a fresh proper sandwich, they take mine back and then proceed to doctor it up and "fix" it, basically making it worse.

Reposting from another site - I am absolutely disgusted and heartbroken by our experience at the bojangles in Matthew's off independence today. A poor sweet girl with special needs was working in the front lobby mopping the floors. She was very kind and very talkative and at first I was so very happy that bojangles gave her a chance at such a job, because unfortunately not many companies do. As we get our food and sit down to eat, this sweet angel asked us if we needed anything, or if she could help us in any way, we both told her we were fine and thanked her for asking. She had the biggest smile on her face. We started to enjoy our meal, about the same time the girl tries to speak to her manager (a male), who ignore her. She actually screamed his name multiple times trying desperately to ask him a question to which he just continued to ignore her pleas. With great disdain I watched as she walked away from the counter looking utterly defeated... and went back to mopping the floor. A few moments passed and she came back to our table (we were then the only other people in the lobby besides herself) and told us that when we were done ahead be more than happy to take our trash and such and clean up for us, I smiled and looked her I'm the eyes and thanked her again, she quickly apologized as if she was bothering us and I told her "you're fine sweetheart, thank you so much for all of your help." And she went back to work. Again a few moments pass as we are finishing up our meal, she noticed one of the girls behind the counter and tried to ask her a question, the girl also ignored her the first few times, then in the most disgusting, vile manner, the girl behind the counter then laughed and turned away from her to face the kitchen, making some hushed remark and right after everyone in the kitchen was laughing at this poor sweet girl, again defeated, she walked back to where we were. She grabbed her mop and I'm sure she thought we couldnt hear her, but my heart shattered into pieces when she said to herself "they don't understand, they just dont understand me, that's all." Then quickly followed by "this is why I like machines. Machines are better than people because they dont tease me and make fun of me." I HAD TO SWALLOW THE HUGE LUMP IN MY THROAT AND FIGHT BACK THE TEARS! I called immediately after we left to speak to the manager, who I supposedly was speaking to on the phone, told her what happened, she responded with "I'll let the manager know." No apology. No remorse. And... didnt you JUST tell me YOU were the manger?!? I'm beyond livid and I dont think I'll be dining there again unless I see her inside... and i will hug her and make sure any remarks or snickering done by fellow employees doesn't go unnoticed. I'll be calling back tomorrow morning to speak to another manager about this. Just because someone is different than you, it doesnt give you the right to make them feel less like a human being.

Not enough staff working and the ones that were there looked as if they intentionally worked as slow as possible. No sense of urgency even though the drive thru was backed up and the inside patrons were left waiting ridiculously long. Bathrooms unattended to. My husband had to ask one of the workers to change his gloves after working the register and then handling food. Health inspector would have shut them down. Filthy.

I got 3 raw chickens today... i have pictures and I am very disappointed with customer service. I have pictures with blood on them still... also one of chicken was still cold but it was cooked... so I'm not goin back to this bojangles again. I rather go to one in Matthews.. least it's fresh chicken they're cooking tho!

Worst bojangles I have ever eaten at. I went there on my lunch break got a Cajun filet combo, the chicken was cold and super hard and flat the tea tasted like yeast. I couldn't believe it. I eat there all the time until about two months ago whoever is running it now should be ashamed. Haven't been back since and don't plan on it.

Everytime i attempt to eat here it is the absolute worst experience i ever have in attempts to get fast food. From long lines to dirty to poor product and order being wrong. You share a parking lot with a Wendy's whom evem though the drive through line is long i wait in less time than this place. Zero excuses for a business to run the way this place is. Someone please step in and get it turned around!

This place always seems to be 50% operational. When it's busy, the drive-thru backs up for half an hour and the dining area fills up with customers loitering around waiting for their order. When it's not as busy, it's like they've closed shop and you have to wait for them to fire everything back up or accept whatever's left over from the rush. Regardless, you will only get an approximation of what you ordered: one chicken entree and two sides at random, but they generally do remember to give biscuits. I recommend thoroughly inspecting your to-go order if you're picky. Otherwise it's conveniently located and good for takeout if you aren't in a hurry.

Kinda dirty. Supremes combo. Dirty rice. Chicken was a bit dry, and the rice was somewhat over cooked. Probably will not come to this location again. There is one further up independence that's newer and cleaner.
