To be fair, we did place a large order. We ordered for 5 adults and 4 children. This was, thus far, the only restaurant that we've been to in Myrtle Beach that absolutely required a mask. This is fine, because the temperature is warm and they do have picnic tables at which to eat outside. We placed our order and, after about 10 minutes, sent the rest of our party back to our hotel, leaving my wife and me to wait for the order. It took another 20 minutes, and my wife finally went to the order window to find out how much longer it would take. The woman who took her order did not remember her and did not have an order in her name. My wife showed her the text that she received from her bank at the moment that they charged her debit card. The chef called out from the back that he did have the order. After another 10 minutes, or so, they called us up to the window to give us our food. We headed back to the hotel, which is only five minutes from the restaurant. The chili dogs were cold, along with half of our french fries. I ordered the chicken and waffle basket and did not get my coleslaw, hush puppies, or french fries. The chicken was dry, although the waffles were amazing. We're only in town for a week. And, considering what I've read about this restaurant, I assume our visit tonight to be a fluke. But I do hope that everyone understands that we will not be returning to this restaurant while we're here.
