Food was good, nothing amazing. NO SOCIAL DISTANCING. The hostesses were great! Our server, Tanisha, was just okay. Upon arrival we were happy to see employees wearing masks during the pandemic and every other booth was taped off for social distancing, but we didn't see any on the regular (non-booth) tables taped off. We arrived just before the breakfast rush, and by the time our food arrived the place was packed as if we weren't in the middle of a pandemic. I could have reached my arm behind me and touch the lady sitting at the next table. As far as the food, my boyfriend got the Philly sandwich and was excited that it came with fries AND onion rings as the side but turns out it was a typo and just one or the other. He ended up getting the onion rings which weren't anything special, just plain battered onions with no extra seasoning or flavor in the batter. The sandwich he devoured in seconds! I wanted the ice cream waffle which comes with two scoops of ice cream and cones on top, only I asked for the waffle to be red velvet instead of plain waffle. Rather than explain to me that she had to put it in the computer a certain way and it might not come out the way I was expecting, she rang it in different than how I ordered and I received a plain red velvet waffle with a scoop of ice cream in a separate dish and no cones. I asked the food runner if that's how it's supposed to come he said no and would return with cones and never did. The server finally came over to check on us and I hadn't touched my food because I was waiting for the rest of it and had to ask her the same question and she came back with one ice cream cone in a dish. Towards the end of our meal she brought our bill and said we can pay "up there" on the way out. So we brought it to the hostess who took it to the back to cash out. While waiting for her to bring our card back, we noticed all the other tables were able to pay their servers at their tables. I work in a restaurant and understand things can go wrong but some things just didn't make sense during our visit.
