Review №1

Great place to meet and catch up with friends. I think I might become a regular. The bill won't shock you.

Review №2

Excellent food and good service... owner handles everything personally, very respectful and considering for customer needs. This venue is good to fit approximately 40 people at a time.

Review №3

Everyone at our table was very satisfied. The service was friendly and observant. The bill was fair. Feeling here is like a restaurant in Fort Worth I liked.

Review №4

Great ambiance & decor. I can see why they have a lot of great reviews.

Review №5

Next time i'll be back with my friends. it has a cool atmosphere. if it wasn't far from my work i would come by more.

Review №6

Great place to eat. Excellent food and the wait staff and cook were very nice and accommodating. tasted the chicken curry and some butter chicken, the garlic naan and some samosas. It was my first foray into trying indian deserts, and although I had nothing to use as a benchmark, everything we tried was delicious. Apparently the bathrooms were redone, and they are acceptable. All in all I think it's a wonderful place to eat and I would recommend it to anyone. Parking is an issue, as it's in a small shopping area with shared parking. Kinda small so you might unknowingly drive past it. food is definitely worth going and trying for yourself!

Review №7

A preferred evening place. The service was helpful and kind. This place has positive reviews for a reason.

Review №8

I wish there were more places like this around town. Food is similar to a cafe in Portland I liked.

Review №9

This is a small joint for Indian fast food. This is a small place, not enough to accommodate large gatherings, so most of the order here is "To Go". The quality of food varies every time.

Review №10

Super savory. Fast and courteous service.

Review №11

Had a friend come into town and asked me to take him here again.

Review №12

I wish there were more places like this around town. Nothing but pleasant experiences here.

Review №13

- Most of the items on menu will not be available.- Dirtiest restroom on earth.- Unhygienic kitchen operations.- Dirty tables. If you enjoy above things then go ahead.

Review №14

Staff is always super even when they have a full house. i look forward to a return trip.

Review №15

This is my husbands and mine's favorite place to eat curry. It has always been good, it's just a shame that the parking is so awkward.

Review №16

Great spot for Chai and Anjeer Mithai with amazing customer service.

Review №17

Worst place. Don't ever go here. They sell old samosas. I fell ill after eating here. The staff had the guts to ask how the food was and when told it was not good he didn't have the guts to listen to that and started throwing attitude at us. It's a shame.

Review №18

The food was delicious but it took forever to get our food. It looked like only one person was waiting while the restaurant was getting packed. Staff member was friendly and courteous.

Review №19

AMAZING FOOD! Just ate there and was not disappointed in the slightest. Slow service I'm assuming from the staffing size and high flow of traffic, but overall worth the wait. Dessert was even more so. Highly recommend!

Review №20

It's so savory. The staff was sociable and attentive. The bill was good for how much you get.

Review №21

Very very delicious food and excellent service! It looked like there was only one employee behind the register but he delivered 100%. I went in a group with six people and all the dishes were very good. Prepare to wait for the food though, it took about an hour for all of us to get our food but it was worth it! He also has a great variety of sweets, and he took the time to let us sample them and chatted with us! Very nice experience, all of us loved it!

Review №22

Hats off to the owner!!! That guy is a trooper. Single handedly handles the restaurant (owner + waiter + cook + cashier + busboy + i dont know what not). Very polite and accommodating! Food was good, not great! But 5 stars for the owner.

Review №23

The cook is awesome , very friendly and accommodating. The food is a bit too spicy for Me.. but flavors are great, only downside , is an employee, what berates ALL women and is rude , he went out of his way to go next door to yell at a woman. And degrading , all other races. This guy needs to be fired. Then this restaurant will be a better place to actual enjoy the food.

Review №24

Food is OK for price. During our visit they were out of supplies, which is odd for eatery. Ambiance is in need of a major overhaul or they need to relocate to a better area.

Review №25

Very friendly staff very friendly people excellent food delicious and healthy Eastern cuisine that will make you live to be 1000 years old and five hundred lifetimes till you reach illumination

Review №26

This place is very near to me and provides a really good food. I visit very often.

Review №27

First of all no parking available, there are only 3-4 spots available for parking.Second the person at the counter who is making chaat also does it without gloves in one hand.. what is the point of wearing gloves in one hand if you are still touching food with your other hand.Lastly there isn't enough staff available at the location which causes mishaps as well as delay in service. We ordered veg noodles and fried rice as a to go order we got a chicken fried rice instead with mirchi bhajji. Wouldn't recommend to anyone unless they have a lot of time and they double check the order they recieve.

Review №28

The outside is "unassuming" but the chaats here are 100% legit! I've been going about once a week!

Review №29

Everyone at our table was very satisfied. The service was very sociable and kind.

Review №30

Awesome place for chat, pani poori, or sweets or appetizers as well felt like i am in Hyderabad, the guy at desk was crazy busy but he didnt loose his simile and his patience, good job, rocks

Review №31

Small, bare bones place with very few tables, limited parking that has excellent Indian (paneer, chicken tikka, etc) tacos. Also has some tasty Punjabi dishes with a good selection of Chaat dishes. There is an extensive selection of Indian sweets/desserts as well.

Review №32

The absolute best Indian food out there. Tiny hole in the wall place. Food takes a while, but it is 110% worth the wait.

Review №33

Good chaat in a nondescript location. Don't let appearances fool you, the food is pretty good. Among the best spots for Indian street food in San Antonio!

Review №34

Options of food is good. The taste really depends on the person preparing..I visited 5 times and chaat, panipuri, bhelpuri were very good. But later 2 times other person prepared and was just average. Fried rice was very good. They do offer many delicious sweets.

Review №35

Awesome Tika masala! Picked up to go, but I probably would not eat there because A/C seemed to be out.

Review №36

Amazing food and service. Quaint establishment. The chef can cook anything on or off menu, and however spicy you like it. I LOVE this place.

Review №37

Nice indian food at cheaper fare

Review №38

This place is never open. The owner comes and leaves whenever he wants is disregard the hours.

Review №39

They had the best Chicken Tikka Masala I've ever eaten. Hole in the wall restaurant but great food and staff.

Review №40

Came here on the day when they are supposed to be open and they were closed . No explanation.

Review №41

Courteous staff , prepares the dishes very fast, delicious, reasonable price. Good atmosphere.

Review №42

Wow very nice food..service is fast and employees are awesome....

Review №43

Great food specially goat pepper fry and masala fried rice Excelent

Review №44

I was craving for samosa and Chat from a long time .. I stopped by this place and the food was delicious .Lacks ambience but still I want to give 5 star for the food.

Review №45

The items are cheap and they have chaats.Even though they have no ac and long wait times, when i have time its ok for waiting.

Review №46

Simply great and awesome hospitality

Review №47

I ordered samosas and they were too oily and there is no taste in there and chutney was not good either. Parking is also a problem, you have to find your own parking slot as it is very limited.

Review №48

Small storefront converted into a restaurant. Food was authentic and fresh. Ambience was lacking but worth the sacrifice for good Mysore masala dosa. Great and friendly personnel. Easy choice 5/5

Review №49

I look forward to going back again. Prices were fair. Makes me feel like I in Nashville again.

Review №50

Excellent food the chef was highly trained by chef Raman who has been in the industry for 40 plus years.

Review №51

One of the best chaat places nearby. Must try.

Review №52

It's a small place but food is good without any odd smell.

Review №53

Small place with some good food!!

Review №54

No Wonder I didn't see any customers on a Saturday night.. My god ridiculous taste..

Review №55

Its amazing. Excellent customer service. They offer teddy bear dosa to my kid

Review №56

Not so great food. Try it once, you will know for sure. No USP to share !

Review №57

Awesome Indian food and service

Review №58

This place is awesome! Hot, spicy, creamy perfection! If you want authentic, large portions this is a must!

Review №59

We came all along from Houston had the worst experience of Chana bhatura neither food was fresh the dough of bhatura was horrible and stale am sorry this is what we had I would rate zero

Review №60

Good and cheap place to have indian chat and veg dishes. They need to work on their cleanliness though. The sambar should not kept open like they keep now in public

Review №61

Not so good experience. We ordered papri chat and that was bad.It seems the management has changed, there is only one employee to cook, take order, serve... All in please be ready for delays

Review №62

Please avoid this place. Don't prefer this restaurant for indian fast food. Period.

Review №63

Unexpectedly visited this place and the food was surprisingly delicious. Service was also very good.

Review №64

Chicken puffs are good.. sweets are good as well

Review №65

Great food, excellent polite service, this guy can make anything even if it's not on the menu just ask

Review №66

I get good indian foods here

Review №67

It took me 30 minutes to get my order. AC is switched off to save electricity. Food isn't that great either. Very bad experience overall.

Review №68

There are a lots of sweets of different kinds and they are good. This is the only place in San Antonio you can find that many types of sweet in one place.Their snacks are not very tasty, I didn't like their sauce.

Review №69

The only authentic Indian food in San Antonio.

Review №70

O it's a small place awesome food and excellent service

Review №71

I spent sometime today here with family. Chat is good and chicken Biryani is awesome, kind of Andhra biryani. Spicy, tasty and fresh. It's a different style and my kid loves a lot. Not a huge selection of Menu, but all will have enough choices. Lots of Indian sweets as well, includes jalebi. Definitely recommends.

Review №72

NO PARKING. this has been a problem since they opened. I heard they have another location on Wurzbach. I could not find it. I hope they have more parking. The food is good. Very hot and spicey. The girl who works at the register is super sweet.

Review №73

New Review - Store under new management.I have only sampled a few things and have yet to determine a conclusive decision regarding this store. For now, I will give it a 3 star review until I can declare a more informed evaluation.

Review №74

Tasteful food, fast service and friendly staff!

Review №75

Nasty as hell ..gave me and my wife food poisoning

Review №76

We heard about this restaurant from long time back.. but we did not want to try as couple of friends complained about the neatness of this place. But yesterday we thought we can give a try.. So we went to this place ordered some dishes and along with that we bought some Indian sweets which they say they make it fresh. Even though they are little expensive we bought it.While eating a white sweet which has cherry fruit on it ,we found 2 inch LONG BLACK HAIR in it. We are very disappointed and will never go there. I called them and told my feedback and they are not even ready to give my money back for the sweets. I will never go back there.

Review №77

The guy that owns this place makes sure he hand makes everything and everything is freshly made

Review №78

The best and most authentic Indian food in town. Hands Down.

Review №79

Probably the best Indian food I've had in SA. Great menu with selections other locations don't have and very inexpensive.

Review №80

Great Food, Great Chart, Great Service.

Review №81

I love this location however I gave them a 4 star because their times of operation don't match I'm frustrated I called yesterday and they said they are only closed Tuesday? I've gone two separate days and no ones there I need a response from the owner asap!

Review №82

Nice chaat

Review №83

Small place worth your money. It's not fancy but the food quality is excellet. I loved their paani puri!! Also if you like fish do try their tava fry fish. The server is very friendly and will customize any dish the way you want.

Review №84

That chaat was amazing.. had dahi chaat and papdi chaat... nice owner very friendly.. will be returning...

Review №85

Cozy snack cafe with nice food.. walking distance from USAA Blvd and 603 bus stop right in front of the cafe!!They are open for breakfast till 8pm (I think) on weekdays. Tried the chaats and pani Puri and dosa, couple of times. Ordered 1portion and it's good quality and quantity for 2people.

Review №86

Chicken puffs and stuffed samosa is really good

Review №87

Good food

Review №88

So it was a nice day out, n I'm out of work with some cravings for good Indian style friedrice , I'm sure you guys know what I'm talking about , we all have our favorites where that one bandi walla makes the best chicken fried rice in india, that taste can't be replicated just because it's original, so I thought going to this place with a skeptical mind set ( don't judge a book by its cover), it was quite surprising, this is a story of a “WOW” experience talking to the owner who runs this place from Tuesday's to Sunday, he was quite friendly fella, makes you feel right at home from the second you enter the place , at first you will be like “this is it?” , they have all the sweet deliciousness displayed at the front which is always fresh unlike some other places which serve you frozen things, and few chairs and tables lined up on the left of the wall just like a small casual Chai cafe in India, caution may remind you of home quite a bit; so I placed a order of 2 chicken fried rice, sweets, and curry puffs 2 of each to test it out; paid my bill took the food home, the next few things needed to be in steps because this place deserves it.Step one: place the bag on a table floor where ever you can go into a trace with a food coma.Step two: Take in all the aroma of proper Indian bandi style which gets your mouth to water falls.Step three: serve it on a plate (getting all excited hold it there fella)Step four: take your first bite into heaven. This place makes the best food with a passion and understanding of the complexity of texture, aroma, and taste exactly to customers needs, my roommate and I were left with a OMG and beyond expectations, which brought us back to vision and reminded us of those experiences that you can only remember by tast back in INDIA HYDERABAD, some of these street foods in India has got more talent than that of 5 star restaurants, I won't tell you to run there right away, but I will tell you not to miss it. Love the food it's to die for!!!

Review №89

Chats are really good. Service is very quick.

Review №90

Its a small place ok for take out but not good for dining food is standard. Ordered biriyani once but extremely spicy!! Not ordering again. Only one person serves very slow and sometimes have to keep waiting until the person is done preparing food or serving another customer which is very annoying. There samosas are really good

Review №91

Terrible food. In my food there was something which was not even food. I showed it to manager they apologized but I will never go back again as the food was very unhygienic.

Review №92

Very good food

Review №93

This place is good, I love the fact that they have lots of sweets to choose from, they are fresh made and tasty, the only trow back is the parking lot, is so small, inconvenient and packed almost all the time.

Review №94

Charming place, food is very good, the lamb is delicious and the mango lassi is the best!

Review №95

A hole in the wall kind of a place, affordable and descent quality food. Their chaats are yummy!

Review №96

Amazing place. Great food! Everything tastes amazing!

Review №97

Really nasty taste food. I would avoid it at all cost. this place is dirty and city needs to raid this place. only like 5 dishes all of them taste nasty. nothing like what it is supposed to be.

Review №98

I don't have much experience with Indian cuisine, but for me the food here was great. The staff was very helpful and patient.

Review №99

Great food and great prices. Everyone there is very nice!

Review №100
