Iron Cactus Mexican Restaurant and Margarita Bar
200 River Walk Suite 100, San Antonio, TX 78205, United States

Review №1

Overall, the food was very tasty. The steak and shrimp fajitas were amazing and the service was pretty good. The atmosphere inside was a little dark and dead, so I would recommend sitting outside if you can. Check out the fajitas!

Review №2

Food, outstanding. 5 Steak Fajitas were some of the best I have ever had. Super tender steak, wonderful fresh tortillas. Great chips and salsa. Service, 2 Server was pretty slow, and it wasn't particularly busy. Would come back for the food.

Review №3

This was my first time to Iron Cactus. We were visiting San Antonio. If you are looking for parking there is the Market Street garage two blocks away. My wife and I shared the steak fajitas for two. The steak was done medium well and was delicious. My son and daughter got the steak and chicken fajitas. They said the chicken was amazing. The salsa is very good' slightly spicy. Awesome. My son in law got the smoked chicken. We also bought the chili con queso. Everything was very good. It is also right on the River Walk.

Review №4

The staff is super nice and takes time to joke with you even though the place was busy. The food was delicious and tasty. The margaritas were very well prepared. We had a great time

Review №5

Iron cactus deserves 5 stars for the dinner we had lastnight. My sister is in town visiting and we wanted a good place to have Mexican and chips and queso. My husband found this place and we decided to give it a try. We were more than happy with the food all around. All the food was very fresh and had lots of yummy flavor! We were ready to give this place a 5 star rating after just having the warm fresh chips and fresh made salsa. Will be definitely going back to try a margarita and some fish tacos.

Review №6

Great food and great server! We were very happy with our choice when walking down the riverwalk and just picking a random place to stop and eat. Would definitely go back. Even looked to see if they had any locations near us at home.

Review №7

Lovely fall evening on the San Antonio River walk. Not crowded on a Monday night. The Snagria was so good. We shared the grilled shrimp tacos and a pork loin dinner that had a 3 pepper Glace. Perfect evening. The waiter was attentive. Sat outside. Highly recommend.

Review №8

Great location. Service was excellent, Eric, our waiter, gave us great advice on the Tequila flight (which is a bargain by the way!), then opened and pour our wine very professionally (which is not usual in a Texmex restaurant). We had lobster tacos and Southwest Paella both succulent especially the Paella that I intend to copycat. The price was very reasonable considering the quality and quantity! Keep the good work guys

Review №9

Absolutely not a recommendation. The service was great!!! Frank was our waiter and he was so kind and accommodating however the food was nothing as I expected. I had the fish tacos and my wife had the fajitas, both had decent presentation, but lacked total flavor. It's as bland as it gets. We had to add salsa, ask for salt and pepper, anything to give it flavor. It's almost hard to even enjoy and finish your meal when the star of your plate has no flavor. The beans were decent, I won't complain because at lease it had seasoning, same for the rice, it came out dry, but had some flavor to it. Our dinner came out to $65 for 2, I feel it's a little overpriced being that it's on the riverwalk, but totally not worth it at all. Drinks are great though! Nice and strong. So come for drinks and maybe a snack! But save your stomach and money for another place away from the river.

Review №10

Great food and friendly service. My family of 5 enjoyed lunch on Sun after church. Looking forward to going again. Only difficulty was parking downtown.

Review №11

Seating was nice outside. Margaritas were great. Waiter was very attentive at first then waned off quickly.Table side guacamole was delicious as well as tamale pops. Flatbread missed the mark totally! It was barely warm and everything was falling off of it.Overall it's a nice margarita bar but an average restaurant.

Review №12

I wish I took more pictures! First time here and for my birthday dinner with the family outside. We started the brisket and chicken quesadillas and crab stuffed jalapenos for appetizers. The Quesadillas were 3 Amazing layers as well as the poppers. I followed it up with cheese enchiladas which was the perfect amount of cheese and sauce and it wasn't swimming on the plate. Then we ended it with this delicious Tres Leches cake that made the whole experience fantastic from start to finish. Our server was not only pleasant but his timing was perfect. He was on point with drinks, water refills, no mistakes with the order and didn't rush us even though we were the last ones there. He made us feel right at home. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Review №13

We came here for the first time a few weeks ago and it was delicious! Their margaritas are on point, the food was amazing and we had a great server who recommended us the best margaritas. I can't really remember the exact margaritas but I think we had a strawberry cactus, cactus and mango if that helps. It's right on the river so it's a beautiful view too! We have a new favorite place in San Antonio️

Review №14

We had the best dinner here that we've had in a while. Our server,, he made the experience top notch. He suggested great choices from the menu, friendly conversation and he gave us some awesome recommendations to check out after dinner. The restaurant was also very clean and the outside seating is nicely laid out by the river. 10/10 would recommend if you are in the mood for margs and mouth watering fajitas!

Review №15

This restaurant situated along the river situated in a shaded nook, did not live up to what the setting promised. After being seated, and making one trip to the washroom, it was clear that cleanliness was not a top priority. Food morsels from prior diners we're in abundance on the table and the toilet was filthy. These initial, less than stellar first observations, carried on to both food and service. First the service. It barely existed. Our server was brusque and largely absent. We ordered a soup starter and a main course and the interval between the two was nearly 40 minutes. The taste of the food, while acceptable, was not supported by its appearance. The tortilla soup was in agglomeration of soup, avocado, and tortilla chips dumped haphazardly into a bowl. The Mazatlan chicken salad featured lettuce browning at the edges. (The grilled chicken however was tasty.). All things considered, this restaurant helped give a wonderful afternoon, a depressing finale. Give it a miss!

Review №16

I'm coming from Austin to visit. I second guess myself at first, but the Staff was WONDERFUL, And Very polite. It was such a pleasure to even walk in and They are all ready to go. That's the first part. Secondly.. The food was Wonderful.. Along with there Great smiles was Great food. I will most definitely return back to eat and have a drink with the family

Review №17

Service was phenomenal. Staff made several good recommendations. The margaritas were awesome. The cheese dip was great. The shrimp taco was delicious. I would eat here again.

Review №18

The husband and I came to San Antonio for a weekend away. We stopped by the Iron Cactus on a word of mouth recommendation. I am a huge Tequila fan and the variety that Iron Cactus has is mind blowing. We had a couple of Tequila Flights... Yes, you heard that right: Tequila Flights! SO good!

Review №19

We came in for lunch. Wow. What an excellent dining expirence. From walking in the door and being greeted, to seated, through the service experience, the foods taste and presentation. Everything was immaculate. The only that is wrong with this restaurant is it star rating on google. It should be an easy 4.8 or higher if the experience we had is the standard. We will be back.

Review №20

The food was great! I got to sit along the River Walk. There is also indoor dining. The waiters were nice.

Review №21

I heard they had a happy hour so we went there a 5:15. They said happy hour was only until 6pm. The happy hour items were Queso for $6 (it was equivalent to a cup of queso), and it was good. The margarita was a small glass filled to the brim with ice, and pretty much just sour mix. My 15yr old sipped it, and said it tasted like lemonade. I went the night before to Acenar on the Riverwalk and got a top shelf ‘strong' margarita for $10. Walk the half block, and get one from there.

Review №22

Must try Mexican food place. Queso is amazing, maybe the best I ever had. I got the brisket quesadillas which were the bomb, my wife got the burger which lacked flavor. Meat was very bland. They do have excellent margaritas though.

Review №23

Great margaritas, table side guacamole, my fav is chocolate chipolte smoked brisket enchiladas but ask the waiter for recommendations like fajitas or tacos or nachos. Don't forget happy hour specials! The location right on the San Antonio Riverwalk is awesome with choices to eat outside on the patio or inside the cool dining room. Worth the wait and everyone is welcoming to make your experience outstanding.

Review №24

We ordered the queso and it never came out. Our food came out first. Chips were never refilled either before anything came out. And the drinks were just not great and took forever. Do not recommend the ranch water or whatever it was called. Our food was a bit bland. But the tortilla soup was great. Our server was amazing so that was nice.

Review №25

Our favorite dining experience out of 5 days on the river walk. Good food, great service, clean and fine establishment.

Review №26

The food was ok, nothing to be blown away about. Staff and our waitress was excellent. Awesome view of the river.

Review №27

Our server came by and gave us a minute to order and never returned. Trey helped us the rest of the time and apologized for the service. Shrimp tacos were good but the service just wasn't what we were expecting unfortunately. I'm sure it's different and usually fine day to day.

Review №28

A bit pricey for what you get. Atmosphere was great, as well as service. Ramon was friendly and kept our drinks filled.

Review №29

We showed up pretty late and the staff was still very welcoming and friendly. My family was very impressed and most importantly we were grateful. Most restaurants on the river walk were closed already. To make the night better the food was very good. I ordered the shrimp enchiladas. It was a new experience and I was not disappointed. I'm usually not a fan of restaurant enchiladas. My mom ordered the paella and she almost finished the dish. That is very rare. We now have a go to place when we visit San Antonio.

Review №30

We decided to visit downtown for the first time since the pandemic began in March. I'm was very pleased with our decision and which included having dinner and drinks here at The Iron Cactus Mexican Restaurant. It was a extremely busy evening in The Riverwalk do we were concerned we wouldn't be able to get a table. The entire process was handled smoothly and professionally by the Hostesses. Checked us in, table and sorted in under 25 minutes. Our outdoor sitting was sanitized, and spaced perfectly between tables. Frank was our waiter, Nice kid, knew his menu and providing excellent service. Great young man. Enjoyed some margaritas with housemate Agave and tequila made specially for them, great drink menu. Now the food...very impress I must express over and over. From the chips and salsa to their Cilantro Lime Rice very delicious and well seasoned. Must try their fajitas, try it will not be disappointed. We will be back, one of the best “first time experiences” dining at Downtown San Antonio! Great Job Iron Cactus, the leadership skills was recognized.

Review №31

Everything was good, but I wanted to have the make my own taco on the kids menu cause I'm on a diet and the waiter said if a specific manager wasn't here he'd let me order it. I don't know about you but that's not right. What kind of service is that. Love the food though but won't come back unless that specific manager is not working

Review №32

Amazing margaritas and service on the River Walk! Ambiance is amazing and Chris was an amazing waiter. Highly recommend the prickly pear margarita and the queso! Even better get the new tequila flight - my husband loves it!!!

Review №33

The food and cocktails were excellent. We were served endless chips and salsa. The entree portion sizes were just right. Great views seated right next to the river walk. Friendly waiter.

Review №34

We visited Iron Cactus during our evacuation for Hurricane Laura. My wife and I had visited San Antonio only a couple of times prior but never tried it out. There was a line going out from the front to the riverwalk and yet we were still seated within 5 minutes! It was an extremely busy night for them it seemed as employees seemed to be rushing around to get things done in a timely manner. The food was fantastic! My wife wanted to note how amazing her margarita was as well. The inside of the restaurant was a bit dim at night making it difficult to get pictures of our food. We will definitely be going back (Hopefully on a better occasion) to try more menu items.

Review №35

The food and service was fantastic!!! The atmosphere was good during this pandemic. The manager on the other hand was not much to compliment. When I asked where the bathroom was he said in there. Well duh I know its inside but when you sit outside to eat and haven't seen the inside you dont exactly know. Also the manager gave a whooping military discount of $1.30 on an $80 ticket. Even after the waiter asked him why it was so low he said cause thats all I'm giving them.

Review №36

I love this place! Amazing food, servers are outstanding and attentive. The atmosphere is laid-back. The prices are good. We come here once a month.

Review №37

Our waitress was super helpful and very friendly. This was our first time visiting San Antonio and this restaurant. She made us feel right at home. We were pleased with our drinks and our meal. I'm just sorry I can't remember our waitress' name. She deserves special recognition for such great service.

Review №38

Excellent. It's not very often that I give a 5 star review. Not a thing about this restaurant was disappointing. Food was superb. Ambience of the dining area was relaxing and intimate. Meats are flavored well, sauces are paired perfectly with each dish, massive tequila selection. You want it they got it. Service was great, desserts are rich and satisfying. Drinks are mixed well, they're not afraid to put some alcohol in them. I've gotten tired of ordering drinks from places that go cheap on the liquor and this place did not disappoint. If you're anywhere near San Antonio you HAVE to eat here. You'll pay for it, but I had no qualms paying for a quality meal and experience, and expertly mixed drinks. Attached picture is of the Mexican Donuts.

Review №39

Not impressed at all. The staff was pretty accommodating, but the food was sub par and so were the drinks. I had to send my drink back because the glass was dirty and my husband sent his steak back because it was too rare in the center. (And he likes it closer to rare, so this was, most definitely, way under cooked.) The fact that this restaurant has a higher than average rating for the Riverwalk makes it difficult for me to want to go back and try anything else.

Review №40

The food was ok. Sadly the 2 dishes I was wanting were both sold out, totally understandable being one of the few restaurants open right now. But the biggest issue was our server. Chris was amazing with all his other tables. The three of us being servers before, we could tell good service when we see it. But for some reason he didn't treat us the same. He seemed annoyed if we asked for something. He didn't check on us to refill drinks, check our food or to even just see if we were OK. Watched him with several other tables providing this service. It was such a let down. Beautiful location and super sweet hosts! Manager was a sweetheart

Review №41

The staff was great and the food was amazing!Ask for Ramone - he is awesome!

Review №42

Service was attentive and prompt, food was cooked perfectly and flavorful. Feels less authentic Mexican and a little Tex Mex (I guess that's apropos since it's in San Antonio). Don't get salmon. Come ready to order Mexican.

Review №43

Our waiter, Alfredo, was great. The restaurant was clean and seating was fast. The drinks were inconsistent, the first was very strong, the second was all ice. My husband got the fajitas and said the flavor was good but the meat was pretty tough. I ordered the Pescado del Mar. The fish was very good but the lemon in the sauce was overpowering and there were large clumps of garlic in the spinach. There were also chunks of rice that had clumped together and gotten hard. I expect better for a dinner at that price.

Review №44

Even while giving them the benefit of the doubt, I can't say I'm pleased with my experience here. We waited 30 minutes. And sure, it was busy, but even for the unprompted wait time and amount of customers, you'd expect the food to be relatively decent. It wasn't. We ordered two different enchiladas, tacos, and chicken strips. Enchiladas? Frozen. The cilantro and lime rice was dry and had an odd taste. The beans? Runny. Fries? Stale. But what can I say about the keylime tartlet? Nothing. They completely forgot the order, replacing it with quesadillas.Again, it was a busy night just before labor day, but just going from the quality of the food alone, I can't suggest you order from this restaurant.

Review №45

Asked for a kids menu. And was denied because I was an adult... I'm trying to watch what I eat and I was a little tipsy. I just wanted a little appetizer to chill out! Was that to much to ask? Great food though! (Smiling face )

Review №46

Are you kidding me this is the best on the river walk. It is a must our awesome server made the the guacamole at the table fresh. The queso was amazing please go you won't be disappointed ️️

Review №47

I would not return to this restaurant. I read one review saying the food was bland. They were right. I ordered the Pescado del Mar. I have never had seafood without seasoning. It was disappointing. Drinks took forever to come to the table. We ordered once seated and received them after the entree arrived. The only good thing was the table side guacamole. Our server was nice and had a good personality. It's a one and done for me.

Review №48

Our first time dining at this place and it was awesome from start to finish :3 got to witness a marriage proposal before we got seated, the food was amazing, and the waiter (a nice kid named Johnathan) was the best waiter we've ever had ^-^ he made the experience all the better and helped make our 10 yr wedding anniversary weekend getaway perfect.

Review №49

Excellent place to get fresh sizzling Mexican food. Our waitress, Patricia, took great care of us. We enjoyed seeing her making the Guacamole in front of us. Very experienced and friendly. We would recommend this place to anyone who has a chance to visit San Antonio.

Review №50

This place was recommended to us by someone on the riverwalk. We went here for good Mexican food and ended up finding something that we had been searching for.... an espresso martini!!Would recommend...!

Review №51

Great seats outside away from the crowd on the Riverwalk, so we weren't bothered. Knowledgeable staff, Christine and Joe were wonderful, prompt, and timely. The food was delicious, my Pescado del Mar was superb and the citrus butter sauce set it off. Best Tres Leches dessert I have had.

Review №52

Food was absolutely amazing. Didn't catch the name of our waiter but he took amazing care of us. Great suggestions and spectacular service. Highly recommend!

Review №53

Superb Mexican food by the river side.Great taste and amazing proportion. A bit pricey but worth it...! You will be really full and will love it!I have tasted almost all the vegetarian options that they serve - fajitas, enchiladas, quesadillas, and all of them were great!Must try if you happen to be on the river!

Review №54

The restaurant's super friendly staff and amazing General Manager, James R helped make our trip to San Antonio great and memorableThe food was absolutely delicious. We indulged ourselves with a variety of different tequilas. James R treated us with a mouth watering margarita. The experience was very positive. We ate at the location multiple days on our trip. We were fortunate to try their phenomenal Sunday brunch. We want to highly recommend anyone who plans to visit the Riverwalk to stop by. The excellent Customer service will definitely entice you to stop and grab a bite.

Review №55

Really loved their chicken tacos. Chicke was real tender and not dry at all. Service was good and food is not pricey. Would definitely recommend this place!!

Review №56

The bartender I had was AWESOME! He knew I was celebrating my bachelorette party and even though he was on his break he continued to make sure we had everything we needed to make us as comfortable as possible. Had the Mexican donuts and it was AMAZING!

Review №57

The food here is amazing. We had the best service for our server Patricia. She really took care of us! Iron Cactus is definitely worth checking out!

Review №58

The Ava Rosa frozen margarita was fantastic. Avoid the Sangria. Food was ok, service was friendly but poor. The kitchen never bothered to prepare one of the entrees we ordered and bar service was glacially slow.Glad it was open late when others weren't. Rather than go back, we'll go to dinner earlier.San Antonio's River Walk is plagued by overpriced, mediocre chain restaurants that survive because they have a new batch of tourists every day. Try for one of the few locally-owned non-chains--they have to try harder and they generally do better.

Review №59

Great service. Their signature margarita was good. The queso was amazing. The steak fajitas were cooked to perfection tender and juicy and the fixings were great. Try the refried beans with the fajitas were smokey and delicious.

Review №60

We got the steak fajitas. They were really good. We also found an espresso martini here that was bomb! We were recommended to go here and glad we did.

Review №61

A top spot for Mexican food. One of the best spots of its kind in the area. It has a cool atmosphere. Atmosphere is like a restaurant in Fort Worth I loved.

Review №62

This is great place to take a date, have a business lunch/dinner or family meal. It has a great view of the river, was clean and had a very nice outdoor patio with heaters for this time of year. The food was excellent and the whole experience was 5-star mostly because our server "Mathew" was so friendly, knowledgeable and made fantastic suggestions for people who are new to the city. We also appreciated the fact that service members in uniform receive 50% off their meal and not in uniform / veteran's receive 10%.

Review №63

Great location for quality Mexican food. Great location to meet with friends. Had a friend come into town and she asked me to take her here again. It has a cool feel to it.

Review №64

The food was wonderful. Both my husband and I loved the guacamole made at table side and the burger was excellent

Review №65

Food was good. Beware sitting outside. Pigeons are bold and aggressive, and will steal your food the moment you take your eyes away (I'm not joking).

Review №66

Pretty good. Beautiful ducks walking by our table. A customer kicked them in front of our table we gave them a chip and got reprimanded for it by an older male waiter.

Review №67

Excellent food! Tableside guacamole & skillet Queso amazing! Great atmosphere, service, shrimp and steak fajitas and so much more!

Review №68

I came by your restaurant for lunch with a few friends. We had an excellent waiter, a younger gentlemen with a lot of personality. He recommended the Trevor burger and a couple of specialty drinks, which I was mostly happy with. My drinks came out first and were wonderful, my burger came out second and wasn't cooked properly (well done I asked for medium). I was also missing lettuce, cheese, pickles, and the tomato. Basically everything that comes with it.I waited a good amount of time for the sides and once they arrived I took one bite and requested a to-go box. That same box I left on the table once my crew had finished up. We took a small walk around the riverwalk/Alamo and I noticed I left my food.I just got off the phone with 3 people, one male, one female, and lastly Joey....who after I explained everything to him, Joey replied "sorry sir I can't do that...and its a strange request".This lack of customer service from the phone tag, to saying no but also condemning the request itself is a slap in the face and a horrible first impression.

Review №69

The waitress was fabulous the food was good but damn the prices are insane

Review №70

We sat outside and ate. Wasn't too hot. The ambiance was nice. The food was amazing. You definitely need to check them out.

Review №71

If I could rate a zero I would. Our waiter was very slow to even get started with drink orders then we had to ask for chips, straws, etc.... we did not get refills on water or other drinks even when our glasses were empty. Some of our food was brought out by someone else and when the waiter brought the rest he looked at mine and said, “You ordered the fajitas for one”. I said I did, and he then replied, “those are fajitas for two, did you touch them already?” Seriously, like he was going to take them back when they were on the table. My husband ordered a chicken dish and the chicken was so over cooked pieces of it were hard like a rock. So hard you couldn't even cut it with a knife let alone eat it.We used to like Iron Cactus but will never go back after this.

Review №72

I wouldn't call my self a queso connoisseur by any means... but this was the best queso I have had. The queso compuesto was phenomenal. There was something about every ingredient in the queso that complimented each other. Along with our queso, our main dishes were also delicious. In addition our waiter Alfredo was super cool and attentive. I can't wait to head back to San Antonio to eat here again.

Review №73

Mexican food and the setting here is above par. dropped in on mon i think. service treated us so kindly. the bill was decent.

Review №74

If you ever get to travel to San Antonio this is the place to you don't want to miss! Seriously the best guacamole I've ever had. They make it right at your table. Margaritas are to die for and the food all around was excellent. We had never been there before and they gave us an appetizer for free. I want to visit San Antonio again to to eat here again. Also the view of the river walk just tops it all off.

Review №75

They made a mistake, described prices incorrectly. When the bill came and we questioned the prices, their answer was "its an honest mistake", but we need you to pay your bill anyways. Called sapd, who said - "pay because you had the drink" and "you can call the management in the morning". We did not want to waste anymore time so we paid, but I would highly caution to stay away. Food / drinks are good - service is terrible (slow / forget orders / make you pay for their error - admitted error).

Review №76

Excellent customer service, yummy food, and great drinks!Ordered drinks, tableside guacamole, and veggie fajitas (the veggie fajitas are vegan if you get them with corn tortillas, no cheese, and no sour cream). Chips and guac are vegan too, and the chips have a dedicated fryer. Our meal came our before our margaritas and appetizer. So we asked our waiter to cancel the appetizer order. He did, and went to check on our drinks. The drink I ordered was out, so the manager came over, apologized for the delay and it being our of stock, and offered to pay for another drink of my choice. Totally not necessary, but really nice.Drinks and dinner were delicious.I went to the restroom and came back to find the table 100% cleared (even my water was gone). Hubby had said we wanted to box it up, but I guess the waiter didn't hear clearly and tossed our leftovers. Oops! After waiting a bit, we asked for our check and leftovers, and they told us what had happened, and brought us a whole new fresh entree in a to go bag.I highly recommend this restaurant!

Review №77

Fresh table side guacamole So much delicious food and great prices

Review №78

Fresh original food! This restaurant came highly recommended by locals and did not disappoint.

Review №79

This place told us a price for drinks and refills and after we agreed and we had the first drink they come back saying they made a mistake. Instead of owning their mistake they they said we got to deal with it and called the cops on us. I've heard of scams like this in other countries but didn't expect it to happen at retrutable restaurants in the US.

Review №80

Reading all of the positive reviews, I am wondering if they are reviewing the same Iron cactus we dined at. Food was cold and so bland. No flavor, what so ever and our waiter was not so friendly. The margaritas were good.Just very very strong. I would not recommend this place to anyone. save your money.

Review №81

One word can describe my experience with this place while traveling....POOR...POOR...POOR. Poor service, poor quality, poor preparation. I ordered thru a delivery service, was informed by said service that food was not ready when they arrived. Food arrived 35 minutes late, delivered without all my items. They didn't even call to ask if I wanted something else. Wrote on receipt they'd credit me for missing item, and I'm still waiting on credit. Food was cold, bland, and not appealing. And after ALL that, no utensils packed! Never....again!

Review №82

The view is really nice, cannot go wrong with being right on the river. The service, however, was terrible. We were sitting outside and our waiter would stop by the area once in a blue moon. We waited 40 minutes for our meals to get ready. Were charged for an appetizer we did not order and had to wait another 10 minutes for our check to get processed. To note, we had dinner before the rush, and the place was relatively empty. The food was good but nothing special. The seasoning and spices they use did not hit the mark.

Review №83

Service was fair. Tried their famous Baile platter, way too much tomato paste. Wife loved the margaritas. In all, price was too high for the quality of food and service.

Review №84

Great food, excellent service, and fantastic view of the Riverwalk!

Review №85

Best Mexican Food by the river walk. My kids ate all their food. Cheese quesadillas and fries. I had my usual enchiladas. Everything was soo good with a beautiful view. If I'm ever back in town, wi go back

Review №86

When we arrived there was a 40 minute wait around 8pm. Luckily it only took 20 minutes, so that was nice! The seating was nice and the lighting makes for a great atmosphere. The chips and salsa are great. You great a warm salsa and a cold salsa. The prices were between $13-25 for an entree, but it's well worth it! You can get a pint glass of frozen margarita for $10, and it's a very good margarita. I definitely recommend this restaurant!

Review №87

Had the fish it had excellent flavor but portion was very small for the price maybe 3 to 4 ounces for $23 Drinks great.

Review №88

Good site for delicious mexican food. you won't be disappointed in the menu and service. the service was very kind and attentive. prices that won't break you.

Review №89

Nice location for quality Mexican food. A favorite evening place of mine. Service is consistently great. Menu is similar to a restaurant in Jacksonville I liked.

Review №90

Place didn't seem particularly interested in customers. They stop seating customers an hour before closing. Had to remind them about half the takeout order. Just thoroughly disinterested in taking in business. Salmon salad, chicken salad, lime and a peach margarita. Decent food, high price, apathetic people. Disinclined to return

Review №91

Food was decent, location was good except the wall enclosure keeps you from having a good view of the river. Salsa tasted like Costco organic brand not home made, melted cheese tasted like Velveeta.

Review №92

Wow I must say i have been at Riverwalk before but this restaurant os the bomb. Food delicious and customer service on point. A must to visit place, highly recommended !!

Review №93

One of my preferred spots for tasty Mexican food. Great location to meet with friends. I can see why they have so many great reviews.

Review №94

It's a fair restaurant, got some tasty enchiladas along with a good view. Probably would be better when the pandemic has passed.

Review №95

Server was rude, like she had better things to do. Food was ok, not great. Had to ask for refills on drinks and chips. This place is a tourist trap. I've had better fish tacos from gas stations.

Review №96

1. Absolutely, terrible service.2. table side quacamole had so much salt week were unable to eat it.3. Overpriced.

Review №97

The food was excellent!! Drinks were great! However, our waiter, Jonathon, was nice until he called us out for finishing our plates and then he asked us if we wanted to lick our plates before taking them from us ?!?!?! He DID NOT get a good tip. And we don't know if we will be back.

Review №98

Very good food, highly recommend the fajitas for two! I was a little upset that they say the souvenir is included but then they charge you $10 extra for it. Overall, still a good experience right on the river.

Review №99
