This is my first visit to the new location at Basse and Blanco. Very roomy and clean. Fresh smell.Prompt service and tasty food. The flour tortillas are so fluffy and to die for!

Not being bias because I am Mexican. Everything on my plate tasted good, the tamal was definitly a Tex-Mex (made with ground beef), beef stew gravy was just perfect along with fresh corn and flourtortillas. The green enchiladas where good to, just the way I like them.

Cheese enchiladas from here are so good.. and suzie is awesome! Thank you very much for the friendly, courteous and very welcoming service you have. Much appreciated.

Been going to Plazas for a long time now. The food is great and the prices are just right . Their lunch specials are tasty especially their brisket!!! Yum!! My 94 year old grandma has celebrated some birthdays at Plazas and she is not easily pleased lol! but this is one place we know she will enjoy whether its breakfast or lunch. Plazas you rock!!!!

I have been a customer of Plaza's Mexican Restaurant for many years. I'm partial to their Chilequeles plate but all the food is very good.They have good flour tortillas and the atmosphere is friendly and casual. This is a family restaurant and their customers are members of various families. They are a Neighborhood restaurant and generations of families frequent this establishment. The owners, Alice and Susie have years of restaurant experience and are great hostesses that make you feel welcome and are accommodating. I recommend this restaurant highly and you will not be disappointed with the food or service.

My review is for their breakfast tacos, haven't tried lunch or dinner menu as of yet. We ordered a bunch of breakfast tacos last Sunday thru DoorDash. The tacos were enormous, delicious and cheap! My favorite tacos are the Huevos a la Mexicana, Weiners & Egg, and the Ham & Egg. Their hot sauce was a little bland and skimpy, as well as their guacamole, but it was fresh. I would make this the #1 breakfast place to order from if you're in the S.A. Uptown area, after an indulgent late night out!

The food here is really great! All the plates are served hot and fresh. I highly recommend the deluxe Mexican plate especially if this is your first time visiting the restaurant because it includes a little bit of everything. The service is great, very hospitable and friendly, you get the small restaurant type of service which is great. The restaurant is family owned and operated which is very evident as they place lot of attention to customer service and satisfaction.

Everytime I come in from Houston, I have to eat my chicarron and egg breakfast plate. They are crunchy. Just the way I like them. Never disappointed. Love them. The staff is very nice.

Use to eat there a lot. But I think their food is a little steep.....especially for three crispy tacos a la carte. They're good....not that terrific. I don't recall their prices being raised. Maybe to compensate for their reconstruction of their building. Anyway, won't be returning.

It's always hot, fresh, and delicious. My favorite the best enchiladas verdes in town.....and believe me I've them everywhere. My husband's favorite the enchilada plate....friendly atmosphere ,very clean and great waitstaff(Ricky)is the Best. Anyone looking for mom's or grandma's home cooking needs to eat thetr..they also have a great breakfast menu

I've been coming here for yrs..Family owned. There open 7 days a week they open early for breakfast all week but they close at 3pm. Mon.-Wed. and Thurs- Sun they close at 9pm. Breakfast served all day. You won't feel cheated on servings. There's a McDonald's next door and car wash across the street. Look for blinking green sign. Check them out or if in a hurry call in your order. In photo the green section is it.ENJOY.
