After going camping for two days and eating sandwiches I was ready to eat some authentic Mexican food and I came to this tiny place and it was more that amazing! The food was full of flavor and it was more than enough! I definitely want to come back here. Reminds me of the food in Mexico.

Passed by this place all the time finally decided to try it and OMG it was delicious!!! The tacos talquepaque were to die for! They give you chips and fideo for an appetizer and it was on point. This is REAL Mexican food not no TexMex stuff highly recommend.

Ordered tacos to go on my lunch break. Super greasy mini tacos. Bland flavor. Ate 1/2 because I was so hungry but regretted that later. I will not return. How disappointing since they were fast and polite and close to work.

We ate here three separate occasions.. this is a small hole in the wall. Customer service is good the menu is primarily Spanish so be ready to ask questions. This is definitely one of the top burgers in San Antonio, the burritos don't waste your time at TacoBell. Comparable prices. I promise you won't be disappointed.. simply, delicious, and low cost...

My niece liked her torta, but she don't know any better lol charro beans were good, enchiladas were... different... no sauce, dry and the smallest lil thing I've ever seen. What's the most memorable thing about the place you ask?? The burning sensation in our eyes from the onions they were cutting in the back. Maybe they don't have proper ventilation or something but my poor neice literally had tears streaming down her face the entire time, we took the food to go after about 15 minutes of torture lol prolly wouldn't return, sawwy.

Great food! Fast and friendly service!

Everything was great. In particular the queso flameado was absolutely amazing. It came out sizzling in an iron skillet and the cheese was bubbly with a great brown to the bottom. Served with homemade flour tortillas. Great!

I have been going to Chagos for 5 years now. Best tacos in San Antonio and best tacos I have ever had. Chago and his wife have always given exemplary service to go with their incredible food. There is not a bad thing on the menu.

I went with the simple intention of trying something other than Ericks tacos or west avenue, and I was so surprised. Bad. Like really, really impressed! I mean this is a hidden gem! It should have a line out the door and I'm not exaggerating. The tacos Al vapor were divine! I had the carne desebrada and chicharron as well as trompo and tlaquepaque which were delicious! All the meat was pleasantly succulent, never had a grizzle piece or a bite I didn't enjoy. I cannot wait to go back and hopefully it will be as fast as this time, cause you never now when a place this good might blow up. I highly recommend!

Amazing prices, authentic Mexican food that is phenomenal, great salsas and a nice quaint setting. Oh and the horchata is great too! Will definitely be back in the near future, absolutely loved coming here.

All the food is really good here. Very reasonable prices and is not like all the other Mexican food restaurants around. It's for change. I highly recommend it.

They make some really good al pastor street tacos. They are on the pricey side, though. You have to order them in plates of 4 tacos. I would've still been going here until I found a place of slightly lesser quality that sells them in 1 taco increments. But that doesn't discredit their ability to make some good street tacos. I'd go back.

Average on this visit. Small location , was crowded and not much organization in wait/ counter staff. Carnivores burger not as good as last time. A party if 3, my two guests got their food, I had to wait another 20 minutes due to a mix-up in the kitchen. Again was just thrown together sloppily. This place has potential, just have to have better flow

If you are looking for real Mexican antojitos you need to give tacos chago a try. Their flautas, enchiladas and papa asada are my favorite. Real mexican food at great prices.

First and last time we come here, Way over priced , $50 for 2 burritos, chips con can queso and 1 order of mini tacos and drinks, they give them selves a tip which is fine but then he sat there and seen me putting a tip on top of that as he didn't tell me they had already charged a tip. Not worth it but they did have decent food

Authentic street tacos, similiar to what you would find in most of Mexico. Clean simple taste with great sauce. It was a restaurant, but it is currently a food truck. If you call the number listed, they will tell you where they will be located.

It was an actual restaurant, but we went here last night and it was a taco truck with a extremely lousy power generator. They menu is extremely limited now. I would only recommend this place if they open up the restaurant again.

Chagos is IT. case and point, twelve years ago there was one single street taco place, now there is over a million, two on every corner and they are all the same.. flavorless and weak. then theres Chagos. a breath of deliciously fresh air. get the "chagos tacos" with cheese. i highly recomend the place to anyone that loves good "original" food. the main guy with glasses (chago) is super cool and genuinely considerate. and they have an awesome generator that resonates power at all decibels and i love it. without which they couldnt run all those machines to make delicious chagos-tacos.all in all every mini-taco in the city is weak.CHAGOS is where its AT. CHAGO is mini-taco KING.
