Great local diner with delicious food and a great mexican feel to it. When i come back to SA I'll make sure to make this a must stop.

Always fast and great food. They make delicious breakfast tacos and that hot cup of coffee to start the day. Lots of options on their menu.

Food was very good quality. Table setting is a bit tight. Decent customer service wasn't rude.

Good Migas, beat I've had in San Antonio so far. Great service too, they keep your coffee full. As small as it may seem they dont have splenda only sweet and low. No biggie I carry my own

They wanted to charge us for sugars and sweeteners that are on the table, that are (FOR FREE FOR CUSTOMERS!!!) Because our baby was playing with them on the table. She did NOT put them in her mouth she was just playing with them. We were trying to keep her busy, so everyone could eat in peace for people in the restaurant. WE ARE DEFINITELY NOT COMING BACK AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IF YOU ARE TAKING BABIES OR CHILDREN.

Good little spot with good deals for breakfast and lunch. Make sure to try the enchiladas and some horchata caldo de pollo is on point!

Great place, with friendly staff. It is always clean. Even when they are busy the service is prompt and friendly. I love their breakfast, but my sons have tried many things on the menu and they have liked everything they have tried. They also have a drive through if you just want to grab a quick taco.

Tortillas have no flavor. They need salt. Service is always good. Price is good.

The place was not too dirty, only 2 customers when my son and I walked in. We ordered 2 enchilada plates it took about 15minutes for the woman to bring us our food. The rice did not look too good it looked like it came out of a can or microwave with Green beans, corn, peas and carrots. We let that slide, but he took one bite of his enchilada and saw a hair in his food. I called the waitress told her she looks at my son and asks me (in Spanish) if it was his the hair in the food was short, my sons hair is very long. The other woman brings the food and now shes upset because she had get off her huge rump. I'm an older Hispanic woman who knows good Mexican food, who cooks good Mexican food, old school. That was not good. I do not recommend this place if you enjoy good Mexican food. This was the first time there in years since the place changed hands, I won't be going back ever. When going out to eat with my family I expect good food, friendly people, a clean place and decent prices. That was by far the WORST place EVER. NEVER AGAIN. Oh I have to add a rating but they only have full stars. I give it less than half a star...

The carnitas on Friday are the best! And I've tried the oatmeal as well and I have to say it's the best I've tasted and probably one of the only places I will order oatmeal. They add raisins and cinnamon sticks to the oatmeal. That really adds flavor to the oatmeal!

Good breakfast specials

The service was good the waitress was very nice but one of the gentleman taking our order was very rude ... almost as he wanted us to hurry up with our orders and had his sunglasses on all the time. The food some of it was great but the fajita had no taste.Maybe better next time.

Tacos are friendlier than the wait staff. Quality food for the price. Fresh. Good taste. Great place to practice your Spanish if you're a little rusty. Also serve a good breakfast.

The Menudo and Barbacoa are always on point. The service is always courteous and friendly. I've had their enchiladas for lunch. Tasty as well. I don't always go there but when I do I'm not disappointed and the Java is great too. So enjoy

The food was great, and no complaints from my kids. Knocked off a star because the service could have been a bit more friendly. The servers just seemed annoyed.

I was really disappointed when we arrived at 920 pm and they do not close til 10 pm and we were basically declined service. The girl was sweeping and I asked if she was going to be mopping. I am allergic to the cleaner and she girl said she was going to be mopping at 845. I asked if she would wait til we left and she said no. They had no customers and basically was not accommodating in any way. I don't know who owns this location but clearly they don't want the business. They do have really good food. But this turned us a way for good. Why would I spend money at a place that doesn't want to provide service to their customer? It makes me think what else do they not care about? Needless to say we are not ever going back.

Food is delicious but wait staff are really rude. They need to smile and be friendly. I felt I was rushed ordering in the drive thru I don't know why I was being rushed I was the only person in line. And to top it off my order was wrong. Had she listened n took her time taking my order I wouldn't have a problem. The three stars are for the food only. Customer service sucks.

Great Monday specials and friendly service

Place is good in the afternoon, but at night if you dont speak Spanish then ordering is a nightmare and it seems like the staff doesn't care or want to help you. Got frustrated one night bc of this reason and haven't been back there since.

Consistently wonderful food and service. Would drink the salsa if it were socially acceptable. Homemade corn and flour torts. My wife says that the menudo is the best she's ever had..next to her Mom's of course.

I had the chicken fajita plate. The food is always consistent here. This time, though the chicken was tough and had very little seasoning or spices. The rest of the plate was good. My wife had the green chicken enchiladas they were very good.

I ordered the beef stew and it was amazing. Generous portion, very good veggies and beef. My favorite was the bone marrow. A nice humble place to eat good Mexican food.

Have tried this place 3 times, have yet to be disappointed! Both food and service have been very good! Will continue coming here until things change.

They don't give you a receipt breaking down on what you paid for and when I looked at the prices I saw that they overcharged me by $4 please look at your prices to see what you're paying for

Wonderful food great stop b4 & after sea world

Discovered this place about a month ago and have been going at least twice a week for breakfast tacos since. They have the best carne guisada, good size tacos at a fair price. Good customer service, love this place.

The best food and value for lunch

I just went there about 15 mins ago and got some tacos to go and as I bit into one of them I found a huge hair and I am disgusted. I will not be returning to this place ever again.

Horrible tacos I ordered bacon egg n cheese and bacon was cooked with eggs (mixed) therefore not cooked right ..bacon wasn't crispy like its suppose be

Been eating here for a few years now. Here at least 2 times a week for breakfast tacos. I prefer to dine in for some reason the tacos seen twice the size compared to when you use the drive thru. My fave is the country ranchero.

Best place to go grab breakfast

Good inexpensive Tex-Mex. Quick service and great breakfast and lunch specials. You almost always see work trucks there. My dad taught me a long time ago, if you see a bunch of work trucks, then that place is doing something right.

The best mexican food on the far west side bar none

This was one of the worst experiences I have had at a Jalisco style restaurant. Though the food was par to any other place I've been to, absolutely nothing stood out. Additionally, the waitress had a very bad attitude. We had to ask for straws and refills. Even worse, when we were missing an order, she blamed us. I have been here once prior to this, but for breakfast. It was an ordinary visit. Now, due to this visit, I am sure I will not return. If I could leave a review with half a star, I would. Only because the chile relleno was okay.

Food is good. Sometimes they forget to add the items that go with each dish on to go orders but food is good. Service varies.

Prices were high. The food did not taste good. Food was served on a dirty plate and no compensation for that. Never again will we go there.
