I celebrated my nomination this evening in this gorgeous place. I am glad to say that we passed a great evening and the restaurant was definitely the reason for that happy event. The crew cooperated in a splendid way, the food was extremely good and my buddies were very thrilled. We shall surely return for more celebrations. thanks very much.

Review №2

Absolutely wonderful place to have beers, foods, delicious appetizers, and great atmosphere. It's got a great, beautiful decor, and fantastic service. They have really good chicory salad, bratwurst, beers, and avocado toast.

Review №3

I visit this special restaurant every couple of days since I like the special atmosphere that is unique to this place. The staff is very welcoming and professional. The service is deeply rapid. Also, the food they cook is good. I visited often and I was always joyful. The cost is decent. I highly suggest this restaurant to to all.

Review №4

I had a great at this restaurant. We loved the awesome vibes and the meals. The staff members were very attentive. I am happy we eventually managed to try this place.

Review №5

Over all solid. Good vibes and nice outdoor seating! The events at fort Mason make this German style place very convenient and accessible. Parking can be tough in the area on weekends but if you're patient you can find a spot. Food is hot and fresh. Nothing is a home run, but nothing is unpalatable and well prepared. It's fair price for the area and the service is good with friendly servers that are attentive even when it's busy.

Review №6

Love this space. Tucked in Fort Mason, a true treasure. Great selection of biers, cocktails and food. Walked in both times and was able to get seated immediately. Great for post work cheers or late night beers.

Review №7

German food in a cool setting at Fort Mason, an old and historic Navy ground in San Francisco. Great selection of German style beer.Newly redone interior is very open and fresh. I enjoyed the large bar and good tasting food.Would definitely go back for the pretzel and schnitzel.

Review №8

This spot simply knows how to serve their clients. Always with a welcoming demeanor. The food is fairly priced, always delicious and neat.

Review №9

Go early for seating..less noisy. Nice place to share a variety of dishes!

Review №10

Good German food with a twist. Definitely recommend the bratwurst. The decor is great; Edison lamps, airy, a good view of the Bridge over the marina. Friendly staff, perfect for a long lunch with a bottle of Riesling.

Review №11

Tried something completely new to me and it was fantastic. Very nice staff, pleasant atmosphere.

Review №12

Lovely space. Bright, modern and fun. Staff was very nice. Was busy at lunch on Saturday but we found seats at the bar. Potatoes salad was very good. Pretzel was ok and the mountain cheese was good but so little on the plate it wasn't really satisfying. Good beer selection.

Review №13

Missing this place :( I really hope the city helps restaurants like Radhaus reopen. Radhaus has amazing german beers on tap and really good german food too!

Review №14

Environment is good, food is ok, price is a little bit high

Review №15

The Radhaus is just that, very very very RAD. Inside and out, the views are stunning.*Beers sourced from Germany *Curry Wurst was I have had the burger, the toast, and cheese board all of which falls under the "good damn this good"*But $17 for pretzel, that's a bit much. Even for SF. I was a little sad when the pretzel came out because it was only one pretzel.Overall the Radhaus is great place with amazing views.

Review №16

Everything was amazing here! Great food, vibe, view and people. A chic German restaurant worth to check out.

Review №17

Nice and pleasant place with tasty food and beautiful view! Love the beer. Will want to go again.

Review №18

Anyone know when they will reopen??Great atmosphere and place to go for a meal and beer.

Review №19

Radhaus was a perfect choice for a holiday refresher. As it implies from its name, they serve German style dishes, which was the best German I've ever had in SF. A currywurst, a chicken schnitzel sandwich, and a lemonade I had. I really shoul visit again to try their dinner menu and to see the beautiful sunset through the window. Exciting.

Review №20

Beautiful open space. Loved the bloody Magdalena and the food we had. We ordered the pretzel (obviously), the smoked fish toast and the potato salad. The smoked fish toast was the highlight. Not only delicious, but beautifully presented. Looking forward to going back and trying more!

Review №21

Gourmet German food, authentic, but better than most places in Germany. Great beer selection!

Review №22

Yet another "hollow" San Francisco restaurant experience. A nice setting with friendly staff, yet the food is decidedly average and served in small portions. Definitely not a restaurant for which I would crave a repeat visit.

Review №23

The place is great if you love German food. The brunch menu is long but there are only a few healthy options. The place doesn't serve lattes as they do not have an espresso machine so you can't have a latte with your brunch. It was personally not my favorite.

Review №24

Very cool spot in Fort Mason. Went there after Uncorked at the Festival Pavillion. Everything was great especially the brats and weiner schnitzel. Good cocktails too.

Review №25

Beautiful light filled space but beer is expensive

Review №26

Got the split pea soup, delicious, and brats and potato dumplings. Dumplings were requested as a side, which they nicely accommodated my request. All was fantastic! Very authentic German food, & staff was awesome!

Review №27

New restaurant and bar located at Fort Mason. The entire offer is connected to Germany and Central Europe. Bavarian beer and dishes from Austria and Germany were served. The restaurant is equipped like an German beer house and we loved the huge wooden bar in the middle of the restaurant. Good place for friends of the alp cuisine in the San Francisco Area.

Review №28

Excellent food, but unfortunately acoustics can be a bit rough

Review №29

Great location, really nicely designed. We sat at the bar around 12:30. The bartender was kind and took drink others when we were ready. I think this place has just opened so the knowledge about the menu lacked a bit. Ordered a pretzel and a cheese plate. The food came out quick. The pretzel was cold, not not hot, but cold, which was weird - I expected something warm. The cheese on the plate was amazing, but just served on its own. The beer selection is amazing since I like German beers, but the food prep needs some work. The price was a bit steep for what we ordered on a lunch stop. Overall fun place to visit and try a few different selections.

Review №30

Been here twice. The first time I loved it. Made a reservation for 30 minutes later. Showed up. Was given a great seat. Sat watching the sunset, drinking a liter and eating great grub. The second time, I went with the same friend, was seated at a table right next to the kitchen, which would have been fine. Except we asked for desert and the check toward the end of the meal --and then didn't receive either for the next 30 minutes. No joke. It doesn't feel good to be forgotten about at a restaurant or to be lost in the shuffle. Won't be returning anytime soon.

Review №31

Awesome place, best collection of weissee ever... incredible selection of matching foods... incredible views, right on the water... amazingly thoughtful designed bar.... a rear find

Review №32

Yay, 1st reviewer on Day 1! This place is VERY cool. Open, airy feel. Tall ceilings, lots of sunlight and an unbelievable view of the harbour and the GGB in the distance. Huge seating area, so we had no wait time. Lots of servers and very friendly, prompt service. Great beer and wine selection. Food menu is a nice mix of American and German cuisine (see photo).

Review №33

Great selection of German beers. Friendly staff great service.

Review №34

Spendy but good. Lighter than other Germanic places. Good beer selection!

Review №35

Like a hipster German bier Haus, the space and views of the Bay are beautiful! Biers are great and the food has been tasty. Minus 1 star for poor veggie options which is important to us.

Review №36

Homestyle German fare in a modern, minimalist environment. Tasty Wienerschnitzel and Käsespätzle, but portions are a bit small for the price. A good place for drinks, but don't expect a an out-of-mind experience.

Review №37

Really cool atmosphere and delicious food. Definitely a must-go if you're in the Fort Mason area! The atmosphere is incredibly inviting and bright, with families, dates, and friend groups all around. I would try the potato pancakes, obligatory pretzel and definitely the spaetzle. The food is delicious and there are a nice assortment of drinks too (beyond just beer!).

Review №38

The food here is good. It's been described to me as a take on Bavarian German food. It is not always classic German. You will find things like Bratwurst and Schnitzel, but also a hamburger and crusted short rib. The restaurant space, location and views are amazing. It's kid friendly. The big draw for me are all the beers and interesting spirits. Prices are a little high, but I still love going here for atmosphere and fun.

Review №39

Prost, love this place... Amazing for everyone who loves great food, beer, and company ️️

Review №40

The food was delicious and a good selection of German beer. Prices are at the upper end.The kitchen is closed between 2-5pm. Only a pretzel during that time.

Review №41

This place is so awesome. Lots of import beers (the only place I've seen out here that has beer from Augustiner-Keller). They have a good range of beers on fun looking taps, and patient bartenders while you make your decision. The food is pretty good and with a wide variety. Pricing is definitely SF range; it's hard to find reasonably cheap German food out here, unless you're headed off to the Tourist Club in North Bay. Overall, open and spacious atmosphere, and right next to a Sunday farmer's market. Enjoy a cold later and soak in some sun. It's also near a free electric vehicle charging station... Just check the time of day when you can park there!

Review №42

Fast staff - Friendly - clean and roomy toilets - Open air - Sunny - I love it!

Review №43

What an awesome location for views and sunset with the Golden Gate Bridge in the back ground. Lots of arts, food and space to enjoy.Good beer too. Gave us numerous samples.Fort Mason is a a seldom visited San Francisco jewel. Greens restaurant just 2 door down.

Review №44

Make reservations if you want to sit inside. Gets busy. Potato pancakes were great. Burger, pretzel, schnitzel okay. Not a lot of flavor. Beers were great. Little slow on service.

Review №45

Great German food and drinks

Review №46

Amazing spot! Exquisite views and ambiance coupled with a cohesive array of craft European beers. Make sure to have a reservation if you want a seat

Review №47

Expensive, but has a fantastic German menu. The on tap German beer selection is great. Super packed when I went. Lines to get a seat. Definitely a super popular place.

Review №48

Great location by the water, clean, minimalist design and good german beer selection. I did not try the food yet however it looked decent german beer pairs..

Review №49

Very cool brew house. Down by pier 2. Lots of beer on tap in a very cool location.

Review №50

Great beers, decent food. We stopped here on our bike ride to/ from the North Bay and was not disappointed. Prost!

Review №51

Very busy on the weekend lunch rush. Really glad we made reservations that morning. Portions were a bit strange. For instance, the burger and fries were enormous and the brats were tiny. Food was overall pretty good.

Review №52

I ran across an article discussing Redhaus and decided I would give it a try. Its been a while since visiting Fort Mason so I was happy to have something that would take me back there. My wife and I had reservations and got there early to walk around the surrounding area prior to eating. At Redhaus, we were seated immediately and passed many people drinking steins of German beer and noshing on tempting plates! We ordered the charcuterie plate and smoked fish along with a Pilsner and apple/pear cider for the wife. Everything was super tasty and the atmosphere was lovely! This is not a place for a quiet bite and intimate setting. Open seating, spacious standing area and many tables for sitting are available. There's also a great number of seats outside front to enjoy your selection! I would and probably will be back again as I enjoyed all Redhaus had to offer. Oh, and dessert was quite good too!

Review №53

Unexpected find in an interesting part of town.Stopped in for a drink and found a very interesting german menu.Service was good.Look forward to returning.

Review №54

Food, service, and location were all amazing. Just a little expensive for what we got. Everything in the city is pricey, but seemed a bit high for German food.

Review №55

Quite pricey with food that doesn't exactly match. Great ingredients but weren't prepared in any way extraordinary. Staff were great.

Review №56

Beautiful view from inside the restaurant with limited outdoor seating that has no view. They offer a large selection of imported beer from Germany and a variety of small items with a few main entree for each meal. With a few only available on the weekend. Mostly the food was very tasty. The currywurst has authentic flavor but they neither used the correct sausage nor sliced it as you'd expect in Germany making it much harder to eat and share. Very loud inside, food came sporadically and two items in our order were forgotten. Maybe a fluke?

Review №57

Delish food and great service

Review №58

Great authentic German food. The beers are just like in Germany. Bring your bicycle - they have a parking space.

Review №59

I certainly love the food and service, good area nearby to my apartment. The employees are always very friendly. Highly recommended.

Review №60

A group of friends and I went to Radhaus after climbing at Planet Granite SF and had a wonderful experience. There was plenty of reasonably priced parking at Fort Mason and the food was delicious! I ordered the currywurst and the kasespatzle and thoroughly enjoyed both. The spatzle was perfect cooked and had a beautiful blend of cheese topped with delicious crispy shallots. The staff was friendly and attentive and was great about making sure we had everything we wanted. I will definitely be coming back to Radhaus soon.

Review №61

I love drinking beer in SF and always try new places when I visit. This was my first time to Radhaus and I think it's my favourite place to enjoy a delicious beverage. It's light and airy with a view, has a great selection of beers and the most stunning bar counter and bench/seating area - cut from a massive tree and fashioned into beautiful, functional pieces. The food coming out looked good too, and friendly bar staff capped off the perfect session. I hope to get back soon.

Review №62

Great setting, wonderful food, awesome beer (especially the Banana Hefeweizen). The patio is wonderful on sunny days with your dog!

Review №63

Both the wiener schnitzel and jager schnitzel were amazing. They also have 1 liter mugs of beer. The vibe is very bright and minimalist and their bar is one giant tree trunk.

Review №64

Great german food and beer! The atmosphere is pretty cool, and they have great staff. It's a great place for any time of the day.

Review №65

Authentic german biergarten with amazing bay views. The Weisswurst is amazing! Will come back again!!

Review №66

I simply love their food. I always get good customer service there. The place is well kept and the cashiers are always nice. I highly recommend this place.

Review №67

Fantastic spot, really cool building with a great selection of German craft beers.

Review №68

Great German beer selection, the pretzels are tasty and you can't go wrong with a good schnitzel!

Review №69

Wonderful food, beautiful building and view of the marina. Great bar

Review №70

Love the atmosphere. Great beer and food too!

Review №71

Delicious food (surprisingly big portions for SF), quality drinks, great atmosphere and attentive staff. I will be back!

Review №72

Pretty expensive for the food/portions you receive. But I guess you're paying for the view... Would only recommend for the day time.

Review №73

German style beer hall in the historic Fort Mason Center. A great place for beer and Bavarian inspired food. Communal tables throughout the space and often long waits for groups to clear out. It can be a bit loud with the style of restaurant, and exacerbated by the concrete walls and floors, but if a lively place is what you're looking for this is the right place.

Review №74

Excellent authentic food. A bit on the pricey side

Review №75

Nice view, great place for a drink, but... Food is not authentic German. “Schnitzel” is fried chicken and potato pancakes are deep fried hash brown patties.I agree with the others- food is pretty flavorless unless you use the sauces.

Review №76

Delicious authentic German food and great service. This place hit the spot and dessert amazing. Throw that in with some German beers and there's no reason not to love this place. Glad I found it while visiting the city. Now open one up in CA !

Review №77

This place is incredible! I've been a bunch of times and am impressed every time. Try the obatza and the new Chicken Schnitzel Sandwich at lunch.

Review №78

Great location for a bear. Food was expensive and not good, especially when you are familiar with German food (e.g. “Knödel“).

Review №79

If you come here get brauwurst, bread and beer! It's really the place for sausages and beer.Salad w radish&avo was good but pretty plain.I loved the interior, view & fulfilling mealDef will come back.We spent $82 for twoIt includes tips& taxesDrinks, salad, bread, entree for each.

Review №80

Very much a cool peeps destination place for brunch. Horrible acoustics. Overrun with tots and young children plus their dogs. Too chique to be comfortable

Review №81

Great little spot a few minutes walk from Cow Hollow.

Review №82

What a beautiful new brewery! My friends hosted their son's first birthday party here and it was perfect. Simple, delicious food. Nice and bright location.

Review №83

Radhaus is a great new restaurant adjacent to the marina in San Francisco. My husband, cousin and I visited on a few occasions recently when we were in the city. The interior of the restaurant is large, with big windows, white and very contemporary. One of the features is the large selection of German and craft beers on tap. I'm not a beer drinker but my husband and cousin enjoyed the beer selections. We tried the Wiener Schnitzel, the chicken schnitzel sandwich, and the ribs. All were excellent! We like the creative side dishes with each meal. One meal I ordered the fresh salmon which was on the daily menu and it was spectacular! The pretzel bread pudding was a delicious dessert. Oh, and the french fries are great! Radhaus is a cool, happening place to be.

Review №84

Very slow service, ok quality, good beers

Review №85

German cuisine and drinks, friendly staff, right on the water. All great!

Review №86

Very spacious, gorgeous wood benches, beautiful view of the Golden Gate and the bay. Unfortunately the food leaves quite a but to be desired, especially given the price point. The Käsespätzle was the best dish, hands down. The wiener schnitzel and potatoes were fairly flavourless. The pretzels were burnt and the mustard lacked substance. Very disappointing for what looked to be higher end German cuisine.

Review №87

Very good! Nice unexpected brunch

Review №88

Great view, cocktails are good but overly bolstered. Wonderful view and great service

Review №89

Drinks very yummy and beautiful. Service was great.

Review №90

Lovely spot, great vibe, especially late afternoon when the sun streams in through the big windows. The smoked fish sandwich with dill and cucumber is delicious!

Review №91

You can not go wrong with any of the beers or bratwursts!

Review №92

So yum! Visiting from out of town and my brother took us here. Beautiful views of the bay! Top notch place.

Review №93

Solidly good. Lots of people on weekends so be prepared either to hover or better yet make a reservation in advance. Great beer selection and great service. Very eclectic food selection indeed. Awesome vibes.

Review №94

Awesome place, cool vibe, a bit too pricey.

Review №95

Great new spot on the water! This mushroom toast was a little dry but the pretzels and sandwiches are awesome

Review №96

Cool space with great views. Menu is a bit limited but the food I had was excellent

Review №97

Great ambiance, especially with a view. I posted up at the “chefs bar” around the corner and had a good time catching up with a friend. Servers were friendly, beer was good, and food was on point. Price is definitely modern San Francisco but not too over the top. Expect to sit around $80-$100 bucks for two for drinks/food if you expect to have a good time.

Review №98

Unfortunately, bad service. Food is fine. Best part is the view and the quality of sunlight that filters through the windows.

Review №99

A fine destination after a hike along the bay to the batteries beyond the bridge and back. A cool, crisp glass of Gruner Vetliner paired with raw oysters and the house pickled vegetable plate provide a delicious reward for your efforts.
