Last Saturday was my second time visiting this restaurant, and it did not disappoint! The bartender/waitress was extremely knowledgeable about all the wines and suggested the perfect charcuterie board to pair with the flight I chose. She was so nice and very attentive, I highly recommend this place!

I would give them 10 STARS they surpassed my expectations! I booked space for my Birthday Party and they were beyond professional, everything was ready on time exactly like I planned. Mel was our hostess and she went above and beyond on customer service and her knowledge of the wine and I had approximately 25 guest she gave everyone attention. I can not thank the staff enough. The food was EXCELLENT and the wine was AMAZING we were able to purchase bottles to take home. You have a loyal customer!

Came here for a birthday and it was amazing! The charcuterie was top notch, as was the service. Nice atmosphere and their wine is great! They offer multiple "flights" or tastings so you should be able to find something you like.

The Urban winery is amazing and staff is so friendly and very knowledgeable. They make you feel like family. My fiancé and I drive here regularly from VA, some of our favorites are the cheese boards, lamb lollipops and chicken wings. Their urban flat bread is delicious! Love the wines they make! Metro series Green Apple is my favorite. To finish off our Valentine's Day dinner we had their featured fondue , absolutely delicious.

Small wine place in Silver Spring. Good for dates and groups. They have a variety of cheeses and meat cuts to choose from that come with fruit, crackers, and nuts. (Presentation is really cute) Great selection of wines that can be served by the bottle, glass, or in flights. On some days they have happy hours and activities such as trivia, wine & yoga, etc.

Walked in and sat down at the bar to a very busy staff. The environment is very pleasant and romantic but I felt forced to have to be acknowledged and ask for a menu after waiting awhile. Soon after I was acknowledged with a glass of water. They make their own wines which I confirmed are only available on location but do offer at several wine festivals. It would be nice to know if they offer tours. The avocado toast was delicious with a little residual heat but again had to ask staff for a napkin. The Maryland wine selectiom is vey limited on white wine choices but the Silver Spring White was semi-dry and really enjoyed following the recommended pairing on the menu with the toast. I also ordered the wings and was pleasantly surprised with even a little more spice due to the single line drapped over the "spiced chicken wings" with siraracha. I overheard usually they have live music on Friday and Saturday nights but tonight no one would be performing. I was shocked to have the menu taken away to not be able to see future wine choice. There are four beer on tap when writing this review but could support a total of six based on their taps. While sitting here awhile I discovered they do have free wifi but there isn't any history or mission decription about what inspired the owners to start the business. I asked and was told they were open three years but it would be a nice touch on the menu to provide this information. Overall the place is above average but could work on a few things to be even better. Staff were talking and mentioned they were running out of wine glasses which seems a little shocking with the place only half full. The winery seems a little confused on what it wants to be with the wood, brick then dark brown painted cinder block along the bar and restaurant. Will definitely be returning and hopefully my next experience is a little better.

Nice place. I liked the seating right by the window where u can sip on your wine while looking outside. The environment was nice. If u posted a picture on ur social media platform u received a 10% discount that day I was there. The only thing as to why I didn't give it a 5 was bcos we thought they gave a tour in there but that was not the case when we got there.

I'd say I'd be back to this spot! As soon as I walked in I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly and attentive service. The servers all seem to know a lot about the wine sections too. I love how they separated the menu by house (they have a lot of options - I liked the syrah), Maryland, and international! They also have flights for people who want to try different things, and beer/cider. You can also buy their wines to go in cans, though they are pricey (4 cans for $30). Definitely get one of their charcuterie and cheese boards!

This place is amazing!! I took a few of my friends here for wine tasting, planning to hop to a few other places in the area for drinks, but immediately fell in love with the atmosphere (and the food choices) and ended up staying there for a few hours. The wine flights were nicely presented and a few of us left with multiple bottles! I have never enjoyed a white wine so much being partial to dry, red wines. The family-aspect of the winery is the icing on the cake. I'll definitely be back!

Thoroughly enjoyed our experience here. It was relatively quiet on an early Saturday evening. Each of us enjoyed a different flight and got some food. We were hesitant when ordering meals but it was absolutely delicious. Very good wine, very cute place, and we'll definitely be back!

The Urban Winery was the very first winery my partner and I tried after moving to the Silver Spring area. The atmosphere was delightful and we were excited to have such a cute venue near us. Sadly the service was glacial, the food was cold and the servers were colder. I encourage others to avoid the experience.

I love this place and have been wanting to go since it opened, but didn't have the chance until last month and have been back once a week since bringing friends who haven't been. The atmosphere is great. It's a great date night place to visit as well as a place to go to with friends. They have wine, desserts, (my favorite is the chocolate cake and the s'mores dessert), chicken wings, cheeses and other small items to go with the wine. It's GREAT! I'm so glad they are here!

One of our favorite places to grab a light meal and glass of wine (or beer). Generally we go for one of the charcuterie plates, you can choose from a variety of meats and cheeses and they are pretty generous. The seating is very casual, there are several long tables that would be great for a large party if you can grab them. The weak spot is the speed of service, I can't tell if it's the servers or the kitchen but it can take a while if you order food.

I came here for a fundraiser for an NGO my friend works for. The atmosphere is simple but elegant. Kind of lounge-like but with a rustic feel at the same time. I like that they promote local wines, even if I don't think the local wines are that good...never the less, it's quite affordable and a cool place to hang out. I wouldn't mind coming back if I were in the area.

Staff were friendly when you could get their attention, but that did take a while. Upon looking at their happy hour menu I saw that their lone red wine offering was "Italian merlot". When I asked for more information on what the wine was they refused to say anything more than "it's an Italian merlot", which they just said verbally twice. I ordered it anyway because you should always judge a place by their happy hour. To my surprise it came from a tap, was cold and foamy, and tasted terrible. If you told me it was Carlo Rossi I wouldn't be surprised. Very disappointed. I suppose their proprietary offerings may be better, but I won't be going back to find out.

They don't have a huge selection but they craft some of the wines themselves and that makes this place great. The wine is tasty and the place has a cozy and inviting cibe! The staff are friendly and the owners work heir butts off to please you. I also really enjoyed the lamb meatballs. They were so tender and juicy we ate two servings of them!
