I almost hate to review this place because I don't want the.masses to find it and ruin it! Great low key jazz/blues/and occasionally reggae bar. Live music, good drinks and a nice crowd. Bring your own food though because there's no kitchen. They will let you have food delivered too. Billy (the bartender) is awesome!

Great place to come for a beer. Their happy hour prices are quite cheap too. This is probably one of the finest and coolest place. The staff was very generous and considerate.Thank you for the amazing experience.

Music is scarce these days. In an effort to dig up culture sometimes you find a diamond.Good location and fair drink prices.Live music fairly often and great people.I hear it's an off duty bar but I could be wrong.Either way get your self out there and listen to local flavour cause it's fantastic.

Love the atmosphere and the band was excellent. The bartenders were exceptional and friendly. Mature,Grown and Sexy. I will go back real soon, especially every 1st Wed (Open Mic Night).

This was a surprising jazz club. I was told it had been around since 2011. This is a great place for a quiet drink and live jazz. I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

This place has the best live bands and serve delicious food. This place has such an open space area , such as so many drinks available in this bar and every drink is so great. In this club everything like cocktails, fast foods, etc. are at a reasonable price!!

Very nice, small quaint bar. My boyfriend and I stopped in for a drink, music and conversation. Its small, not to big of a crowd (fine by me) but very diverse, cozy and clean. No food is sold so make sure to eat before you go for drinks. I can't forget drinks were good, music was okay and staff was freindly. Great location too. I'm not big on crowds so I would go again.

Love Nomad. Seeming hole-in-the-wall with a great staff, low-key atmosphere, and passion for great jazz. Be sure to bring some food because the only thing they serve are (complimentary) goldfish crackers

Older staff, older crowd, no major complaints. The place got a little bit loud at times with somewhat limited seating but for a little hole in the wall I couldn't have been much happier

This is definitely one of the coolest bars in downtown Wilmington. Great atmosphere and they have live jazz pretty much all the time which never fails to entertain. I have a few friends in the area and we go to this bar all the time. It's like the default for every night we are hanging out. Order the secret garden and a B&B. You won't regret it

The BEST, and perhaps the least known, bar downtown, if not the surrounding area. Always great live music, a friendly engaging diverse clientele. They dont serve food, but all the local places deliver.

Great place to enjoy drink and smooth jazz/blues by local groups. Mature crowd. Service is quick and cordial. Perfect place after a business dinner or late meeting. You'll always go back.

I always enjoy this place when I am in Wilmington. A noticeably well-kept space with chill locals, and few work travelers that venture down the street. Live music up front, quieter in the back. There is something pure about this place, really deserves five stars.

Having been to many different bars in various cities across the country, I must admit that the Nomad Bar is a pretty awesome place.When I walked in, the first thing I noticed was some really good music playing. People were really chill and my buddy and I headed over to the bar to grab some drinks. The bartender was really cool, got our drinks made really quick and didn't break the bank.

The owner is extremely kind... Came on Saturday night and got some quality music and drinks. Definitely will go back again. One of Wilmingtons gems!

Excellent Bartender

This is hands down my favorite bar in the city. Eat before you get here or if its not too busy, order in (they let you do that here!). The place is small but the bar is pretty big and the bar tenders are pretty attentive. The owners are always working the room. The music is mostly over the system but towards the weekend, there is live jazz, blues, etc. Everyone at the bar is super cool so if you are a douchebag, please don't infest this place. And if you have any douchy friends, keep them at home.

Absolutely enjoyed myself with The BASSment band! Love the vibe. Love the owner's personable yet upfront character. Red wine was reasonable. I will be ba k with every neo-soul, jazz and funk event.
