My husband and I have had date night here three times now and are impressed each time! The amazing menu is always changing which keeps it interesting, they have a wide selection of old/new world wines, the service is top notch, and the vibe makes you want to stay all night. Highly recommend to any foodies!

Review №2

Imaginative French food, American sized portions very attentive service. Can't wait to take my wife here.

Review №3

French food, super tasty. Really nothing but great experiences here, so I will be back. This place has an awesome atmosphere. Kinda of like a cafe in Phoenix that I enjoyed.

Review №4

The food was very good. Lamb chops, duck and ribeye were all perfect and delicious. Drinks were great as well. Must enjoyable evening.

Review №5

Negroni and French 75. Always enjoy dinner here.

Review №6

French food, mmm, very delicious. Great location to meet with friends. Certainly worth a return visit. It has a cool atmosphere. They have a lot of good reviews for a reason.

Review №7

Beautiful atmosphere, grwat service and amazing French cuisine! And the wine aelection can't be beat. Highly recommended!

Review №8

One of my preferred places for delicious french food. I like it here, great food & service. The place has a cool feel to it.

Review №9

French food... yummy. Great location to meet with friends. Looking forward to a return trip. Bring your hunger - portions are filling. I see why this place has a lot of positive reviews.

Review №10

Great spot for quality French food. Staff is always timely even when they have a full house. It has a cool atmosphere.

Review №13

Review №14

Had a fantastic night last weekend for a huge party. Food was delicious, service was incredible. Such a fun night. Owned and run by the most amazing family. Go now, order anything, it's all good, i didn't get the fries but regretted it immediately...

Review №15

Service is fantastic and food is out of this world....not to mention their bar drinks and wines...highly recommended!

Review №16

Cuisine and Wine Bistro -- the Chandler location -- is one of our favorite restaurants in the Valley. A real mom-and-pop operation, it shows the fine hand of an expert chef with the fine management skills of other family members. We enjoyed the weekend special -- Beef Wellington for Two. Oh my goodness. The flavors were superb -- even without real foie gras. Although a nice (and mature) Rhone was suggested, we went with our own wine selections. The meal was so large that we took home what amounted to another whole meal for later. It's a hike from Scottsdale to Chandler, but well worth the traffic agonies for such outstanding "cuisine." We will definitely be back.

Review №17

Server was very friendly and knowledgeable! They did seem a bit understaffed, 1 more server added to the crew would have been perfect. Appetizers were amazing, especially the escargot! The steak tartare was also great. I had the bone in ribeye which was good but nothing to write home about. My guest had the duck; unfortunately the duck breast fat was not rendered down anywhere near enough (basically meaning way too much inedible fat left under the skin). The duck was also room temperature, if not plain cold. Duchesse potatoes were below warm as well. Generous 3 stars because our waitress was so friendly and the apps were so great. I know what to order next time and what to ask for so i will be back for a 5 star experience.

Review №18

Wonderful experience. I have been in restaurants for years - including a stint as the front end/beverage manager for a French restaurant in Columbus, OH. Service here is personable and comfortable. You can walk in for an annual anniversary dinner and have a outstanding experience or you can make a quick stop at the bar and an appetizer and drink. The food is authetintic and prepared with attention to detail. Best for last: the wine list. French wine shines. It is affordable and amazing.

Review №19

Cosy atmosphere with amazing French cuisine.

Review №20

Not much to say really. It was expensive and the food was just OK. A really good friend gave us a gift certificate for our anniversary so that's how we ended up here. There are definitely better choices.

Review №21

Just a night out. The food was very good! We too ordered the tomahawk steak and would order it again. The restaurant is on the higher end but if you want a good meal it's worth it.

Review №22

Its worth every penny! Favorite!

Review №23

For our anniversary two years ago I was hoping to find a local restaurant that served good French dishes, to remind my wife of our 3rd anniversary in France. This place was PERFECT. The food is delicious, the service is personable and genuine, the prices are reasonable, and the dishes are authentic (the Chef/Family are from France and brought their wonderful expertise and charm with them to our little corner of the world).

Review №24

We ate here for our anniversary. The food was delicious! We got the tomahawk steak and it was cooked to perfection. It was definitely a pricey meal but we were happy to splurge for a special occasion.

Review №25

Excellent drinks and amazing dinner. The atmosphere is always relaxing. Everyone is very nice and happy with prompt service.

Review №26

Great environment, staff, wine selection, food, cocktails and beer.

Review №27

Very good. I had the happy hour menu and the best tartare de boeuf. I will go back for the main menu soon.

Review №28

The cuisine, staff and especially the food. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate. Great place to enjoy you will not be disappointed.

Review №29

We went to this elegant place for our rehearsal dinner. Food was exquisite and service was even better. This will most likely be our anniversary spot over the years. Great, great find.

Review №30

Had a reservation for 5, I was seated quickly with 2 menus. Entire party arrived shortly, still 2 menus. Service was hit & miss. Once order placed, about 1 1/2 hrs later order was delivered. There were 3 orders of filets, ordered the same. All three arrived looking and tasting different. There are not enough words to describe this horrible experience. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS restaurant. , unless you have HOURS to wait and be over charged with you drink order (not to mentio under portioned )

Review №31

Great food and service. First place we want to go to eat when the restaurants reopen for eat in dining.

Review №32

A hidden gem in OcotilloI loved everything about my dining experience at Cuisine and Wine Bistro. The caprese salad was amazing, and the pork loin was cooked to perfection, I also can't say enough about the me they are a must. They also have a great wine and cocktail menuThe restaurant has a relaxed, cosmopolitian vibe and the staff were knowledgeable and friendly.Go try it, you won't be disappointed!

Review №33

My cousin and her husband discovered this wonderful restaurant when golfing with the chef's son. They have told me for a while that I simply HAD to visit Phoenix so they could take me there. I flew to Paris for dinner once, so why not to Phoenix. As the French say, ça valait le voyage (it was worth the trip)! The escargots were sublime; we had to ask for more bread in order to sop up every drop of the lovely butter sauce. The main courses were delicious. The wine list is extensive; we loved our St.-Emilion. The desserts were decadent, but just what one needs for celebrating a birthday. A la prochaine! (NB: I'll let you know if I make it to the restaurant you recommended in Paris.)

Review №34

This place is lovely! Jennifer was amazing, so helpful and such a pleasure! We shared a bottle a vino. Sorry, the name of the wine definitely escaped me, so I guess you could say, we enjoyed it very much so. We shared the bruschetta, quite bigger than what I am used to; however, very tasty, and many variations available! Beautiful ambiance, and ze French accents! Definitely felt like we were not in Chandler anymore!

Review №35

A wonderful experience! Delicious appetizers and superb service!

Review №37

This place is great! Some of the best French food I have had outside of France. Would have not expected a strip mall restaurant to be so good. The frog legs and escargot we're excellent.

Review №38

Today we enjoyed the frittata Florentine. It has spinach cheese etc. very tasty served with multigrain or white toast. Roasted potatoes. Love it. Flavorful filling. Just perfect. My friend had the grilled burrito. Good enough to fill up my hungry companion. Portions here are generous you won't leave hungry. I have had salads, burgers, frittata, omelettes.

Review №39

Excellent server! Excellent food! Excellent experience!

Review №40

OMG so amazing! I loved the escargot!

Review №41

Truly worthy of 5 stars. Service, food, atmosphere. All excellent.

Review №42

Very nice French inspired restaurant. This is a candle light setting with top notch service. The atmosphere can be romantic. Great for a nice night out. Don't be fooled by the strip mall location! Menu has from fancy to basic items and the prices reflect as much. I had the bruchetta board $11 that comes with 3 halved ( total 6) pieces with a good selection of toppings. I also had the zucchini app $8 with seasoned cheese which was the size of 5 large olives. Fairly basic. Then someone at the table had the Halibut $23 on top of puree sweet potato. The food was all great and we would definitely return.

Review №43

Beautiful spot to sip on a glass of French wine and have a delicious dinner! The food is amazing and the service is exceptional.

Review №44

I only ordered from the happy hour menu, but the staff couldn't be nicer

Review №45

Very impressive. The happy hour has all kinds of good things. Enjoyed the chorizo croquettes, the sprouts, and the escargot. Highly recommended.

Review №46

One of my best places to go and have amazing food and great service.

Review №47

Amazing food and service. Ask for Monica if you can!

Review №48

I was disappointed with the appetizers and the main course. The salmon was bland and was in some kind of sauce. The green beans and he fries were decent. Not great. Last time I'll Eat here. 2nd restaurant I've been to on my stay in Arizona. Both get a thumbs down from me. I just wanna find a restaurant that cooks some really good grill salmon.

Review №49

Nice place, great food and relaxing atmosphere. Had a special of the day, beef and carrots served with potato gratin. Food was great so was the service. Will be back.

Review №50

Not the best place to bring a toddler on a Saturday night. He wasn't well rested, so even though we planned to take our food to-go, our waitress put us in a private room while we waited which is service above and beyond. As for the food, the pork was a little well done, but, I feel like this was more about it being in a sealed to- go box and the steam may have cooked it more to our liking on the way home. The menu and decor could have been dressed up a tad (french words on a bland-ish looking menu isn't pleasing to the eye) and there might have been more of a selection for entrees, but, I feel that this place is off to a great start!

Review №51

We were nicely received and the amouse bouche was a nice touch. Then I had the special saumon savage d'ecosse well that was not Ok. It came with little cooked or rather uncooked turnips. Some of them were actually hard to cut, not what you would expect. A little al dente is ok but that was over the top. The salmon was a very nice piece of salmon on a cream sauce. The sauce had no taste that I could discern. The salmon was not seasoned beyond this so it tasted like it just came from the grill. Wow what can I say, it filled me up but that is it. My wife ordered bruschetta and that was much tastier than the salmon. I wished I had ordered the bruschetta instead. Enough said.

Review №52

Had a great experience in the bar. Good food and drink. Nice atmosphere. Will be back for a dinner.

Review №53

Food is amazing! Reminds me of France and so is the wine.

Review №54

Fantastic! Best fish soup. Best veal chop. Amazing place, awesome service. 6 stars!!

Review №55

The service was terribly slow in the food was not very good

Review №56

Poor value for the money. Went here for tonight for the first time (Birthday). Place was absolutely dead for a Friday night at 7pm. We had a reservation but the hostess insisted on seating us at a table. When we asked for a booth she said they were reserved. ???Food mediocre. Menu mediocre. Really not French but kind of Italian/French confusion fusion. Dishes with pastas. Bruschetta. Weak wine list. If this restaurant were on the heart of Paris it wouldn't last a week. This is an Americanized menu dumbed down for folks who don't know good food it seems. Not a single chicken dish. Ya I know your chef studied in France - but can he cook?Prices are far too high for the mediocre food served. We had the steak. A $55 dull bone in ribeye steak on a wood platter with salt & pepper and butter. Yawn. Steak was ok. No peppercorn sauce. Just meat. Yes Fries were solid. The best thing I ate all night was the French onion soup. Other than that - meh.Staff feels young, green and inexperienced. This ain't no Mastros. We won't be back. Drove an hour to eat here. Ridiculous. So many far better (and cheaper) options. This is a pseudo high end restaurant in a strip shopping center that's trying too hard. Other reviewers saying it's the “best French food outside of France” are either fibbing badly or know very little about quality food. This is not a real French restaurant. Why spend $200+ here when you can get a genuinely elegant dinner at Mastros or Vincent's for the same money?Reservation said it was my birthday. We told them too upon sitting. Yet no Birthday candle with my creme brûlée dessert - no comp dessert, not even a single happy Birthday greeting. I did get a glass of sparking rose - but it's obvious this is not a superbly oiled machine.Let's see if the owner makes a comment to my honest review. I can see that with other negative reviews they seem insecurely defensive.

Review №57

This place is phenomenal, I had the goat cheese salad and can't wait for a excuse to go back

Review №58

Fantastic neighborhood find! The food, atmosphere and staff are incredible. A new favorite!!! I can't believe this was our first time here. Definitely recommend for an upscale dining experience or happy hour in the Chandler/Ocotillo area.

Review №59

Always good food. Great service. Friendly staff and management. Large wine selection.

Review №60

Was very disappointed for the first time! The escargot was not as good as it was in the past!

Review №61

Expensive for what it is. Very noisy. Friendly staff.

Review №62

Great dining experience. Dining room and lounge area separated by walls to maximize the enjoyment style of both options. Excellent food and very friendly staff rounds out a truly enjoyable experience surrounded by beautiful ambiance.

Review №63

Best steak I've had in a long, long time. Worth every penny

Review №64

Excellent food and wine. Our server was awesome...helped us pick a wine that did not have a lot acidity because of my diet. Will be going back!

Review №65

Nice atmosphere, large selection of wines.

Review №66

The food and atmosphere was fantastic! My wife and I went for our anniversary and had a great time. It is a family owned restaurant and you feel like a welcome guest immediately. We will absolutely go back and recommend to all of our friends!

Review №67

Cool place. Beautiful dining room.

Review №68

Great food and excellent service

Review №69

Giving a generous two star. After a lot of research we narrowed down this restaurant for our anniversary dinner. We are so disappointed with the food and the service. The ambience is quiet and niceWe ordered bruschetta 3 kind pesto, blue cheese and Parmesan was on the better side than Artichoke & grilled zucchini. Also chicken Accras for appetizer wasn't the best choice. The sauce served was too acidic and tangy. We decided to go with lamb rack for entree and specifically mentioned that we need it well cooked. But to our astonishment it still needed some cooking. It was one of the worst racks I have had. The sauce and the potatoes served was the only savior. After mentioning that it was our anniversary there was not even a slight courtesy to offer dessert, not that we were waiting for one. They are offering free dessert for a table for checkin on Yelp but couldn't do the needful in our case. The price is definitely on the higher side. I wouldn't recommend this place nor want to come here again. Really disappointed with the dinner. Not a place to remember.
