Flavorful, Good service, they were very careful with 5 vegetarian in our party. Fried rice was yum, each dish was so flavorful and the servers were very nice.

Review №2

I'll give a super 5+stars plus great food great the new outdoor remodeling to keep up with their great service and great food.

Review №3

We picked up for dinner for tonight and we will have enough for tomorrow! Every item was absolutely delicious and the best we've ever had. Just the right amount of seasonings, spice, and not greasy. We had chicken in caramel sauce, Pad Thai, mixed vegetables, and green chicken curry with brown and white rice. Incredible dinner. Thank you.

Review №4

I've been eating at this restaurant for over 10 years and I'm never disappointed plus the service is the best! Two thumbs up

Review №5

One of the best Vietnamese food I've ever eaten!! And doubles in bonus points with Thai cuisine salad rolls were a bit messy as ends weren't rolled in but had a healthy amount of mint - YUM! The seasoning on the tofu was exceptional (I could live off of it!)

Review №6

WOW. I the old location in redlands was our go to Thai place and we were so sad to see it close. But we finally were able to make it out to palm desert and get takeout from le basil here. We were not disappointed! Even with all the memories and hype from our memories of the old le basil, it exceeded expectations. To start, the fresh rolls are incredible. The lettuce is crisp and everything tastes fresh. The peanut dipping sauce is incredible and complements it perfectly. Highly recommend! (We got ours with tofu instead of shrimp)We got both the panang and yellow curry with fresh tofu and they were both incredible. I prefer the brown rice to the white rice at least here. The brown rice has more substance and is more of an heirloom/wild rice compared to traditional brown. The curries were both smooth and great consistencies. Not watery at allAll the noodles we got were yummy, but the pad Thai in particular stole the show. It was saucy, flavorful and tasted great. The pad see ew is a classic and was lived by everyone. The spicy noodles (pad kee mao/drunken noodles) were good but definitely took a step back from the other two. Not because they were bad but because the rest was just so good!Super excited to know le basil is still doing what it does best. Highly recommend!!

Review №7

Lunch menu food was very good and the staff was very nice! Thai iced tea was also very good. Would recommend coming here for some authentic SEA food

Review №8

Always great amazing food and service! Vietnamese grape leaves wrap appetizer is fun!

Review №9

Excellent, tasty, authentic Thai food, prompt, friendly service, beautiful shaded dog friendly patio, and if you are so inclined, plenty of vegetarian and vegan options!

Review №10

Real life chef here...OUTSTANDING food and even better owners and staff. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. A favorite of mine is the crispy fish apple salad!

Review №11

Best pad se ew ever! Excellent place for thai tea as well.

Review №12

Good thai food. professional chefs and value for the money.

Review №13

Service was phenomenal, food came out fast and tasted authentic, and would definitely come back. I'm not from around the desert and thought it would be hard to find good Thai food here, but this restaurant really surprised me. I would say it's even better than some of the top Thai restaurants in Los Angeles and Orange counties.

Review №14

Authentic thai food with the freshest ingredients. so nice to eat at a restaurant again, feels normal, almost. with the lack of business the service was amazing.

Review №15

Always has great food and awesome service. It definitely hits the spot for lunch or dinner any time of the week.

Review №16

Fresh rolls with extra peanut sauce.. Yum!

Review №17

Good food. Easy to go Love those fresh spring rolls! Yummy.

Review №18

The Pho and spring rolls were very good. A nice quiet place, small and clean.

Review №19

We enjoyed lunch at this place. The food was great. You won't be disappointed. Will definitely visit during our next visit to Rancho Mirage area. Added benefit is that there are some nice hiking places behind the mall area where Le Basil is located.

Review №20

Excellent food and great customer service.

Review №21

Amazing. Truly a neighborly hidden gem. First time dining and won't be the last. Excellent food! Wonderful ambiance and great service. A must on your dining experience.

Review №22

The ambiance is very subtle I love the lamps and lightning when you are in this place you can not tell the time it seems is night and the menu has a variety of delighted Thai food i have tried the shrimp coconut soup , they bring you a big pot which is lighted up with candle fire in the center to keep it warm is good for sharing up to three people or if you are hungry you can have it all!!:) the Pad Thai is garnished with cilantro peanut butter dressing and the meat of your choice and the noodles are made of brown rice . The food is fresh and the service is good I would recommend this place for lunch or dinner you don' t need reservation the time I have been there I just walk in

Review №23

Good food and good customer service!

Review №24

I used to really like this place, but since then I've been to Thailand. I had panang curry, and it was like a peanut sauce. Not very authentic.

Review №25

Some of the best Thai and Vietnamese food in our valley. It can get busy though during high season. Be patient!

Review №26

This place knows you want delicious fresh amazing food and that is precisely what is served. Absolutely top food prep and quality in the desert, if you're looking for the BEST thai food, here it is. Expect a perfect blend of flavors, perfectly prepared noodles and soups etc... this place goes above and beyond my expectations. All employees know all to know about spice too so if you're a spice fan, prepare to enjoy yourself. See my photo of the ultra spelicey fish sauce which had salty soaked peppers with ultra heat... along with a 4 pepper sauce platter to add to your food as desired. Outstandingly fresh brewed thai tea with or without creamer... I cant say enough good things about this place.Pad Thai: perfection. Plenty of protein, not unproportionate. See my photos for the curry and hot sour soup as well, all really high level flavorful deliciousness. ENJOY

Review №27

The food is very fresh. I had the spicy noodles and they're very saucy. I asked for 7/10 level of spiciness, which is my usual at other places. This was much hotter than I expected. It would have been nice to get water refills without asking. No other complaints.

Review №28

The best authentic Thai restaurant in Coachella Valley! The owners Tor and Orn will accommodate what you need even it's not on the menu!My daughter loves their yellow egg noodles which they always make it special just for her.

Review №29

I absolutely love this place. The owner is this exceptional man who is always very kind and warm and happy. Plus the food is excellent. I always recommend this place. Try the bun, it's light and refreshing and has excellent flavors.

Review №30

Fantastic place. Lovely ambience. Impeccably service. Incredible food. We split the Money Bag appetizer. It was delicious and light, crispy bag shaped filled with diced chicken and carrots. My husband got spicy chicken and loved it. I got the vermicelli noodles with beef and lemon. So much detail put into the food and flavors. My new favorite restaurant in Palm Springs.

Review №31

Awesome Red / Panang Curry!

Review №32

Food was overall okay. Mango in the mango sticky rice dessert was very stale

Review №33

I love the variety you can choose from and fresh Thai iced coffee is the best in town.

Review №34

The food here is always on point!

Review №35

We had an incredible dinner here and will definitely return. Try the green curry, pad see ew and the fried banana dessert.

Review №36

Great experience. Food is always tasty and usually awesome service.

Review №37

Great place that has been around for years.

Review №38

The food is very good but my 2 stars are only for the unpleasant attitude I noticed from one of the employees. I won't say which one but I will say he is probably the youngest person there. Oh well

Review №39

Great Tom Ka Kai soup. Delicious Pad Thai. Friendly service.

Review №40

I liked it. Good food good ambiance. I think Thai places vary quite a bit in terms of flavor but I liked it. A little on the sweet side here.

Review №41

Hands down my favorite Thai restaurant anywhere. Everything we ordered was flavorful, with fresh, delicious ingredients. Service was friendly and prompt, and, as if it couldn't get any better, they've now added Vietnamese dishes to the menu. Worth the minute's extra search at the back of the shopping complex. Just go!

Review №42

Do not under any circumstances come to this restraunt. Thai food consists of many things; spice, lemon grass, and basil, to name a few. There wasn't even the slightest hint of lemon grass nor basil. Neither spices nor soy sauce were provided. In addition, the lemons they gave us tasted very old as well. The prices are awful. Very small portions for quite a high price. It is a disgrace to Thai food, if you can even call this that. DO NOT EAT HERE!

Review №43

First time here. Small but comfy vibe. I was seated by the same person who also served me. She was friendly. Food is reasonably priced. I had the Lo Mein and these noodles were not Lo Mein. It was kind of bland. This is the only dish I can review and I'm sure there are many good ones here I have yet to try. So would I revisit? Not sure. Would I recommend? Yes if you really don't know the difference.

Review №44

Very interesting decor, with a mix of traditional asian art and modern day furniture. Very comfortable feel. Looked to be a nice small bar as well. The food was fantastic. I got the shrimp green curry, but switched out the shrimp with tofu (vegan). It was top notch curry, perfect level of spice (7 out of 10 spice level) with good tasting tofu and veggies. Our servers were very friendly. Definitely want to go back for more.

Review №45

Sorry but this not the place for good Thai food. Not hot and really boring food.

Review №46

This place was really very good. Fresh veggies, giant shrimp and not greasy, could you ask for anything more.Much better than what we had in town so far.

Review №47

Outstanding food and prompt service without fail. No better Tom Ka Kai soup in the valley. Harmonious blend of Thai and Vietnamese that will not disappoint. I highly recommend Le Basil!!!

Review №48

This place is amazing!Delicious food with a lot of options!I'm vegan and I always find a different dish to order.I took my mother there and also my friends they were all very impressed. My friends say it's the best mango sticky rice they ever had. It's great that we can all eat amazing food at the same place it's not always like that for me as a vegan.

Review №49

Great atmosphere and sweet staff. The service was surprisingly quick and food was great. My only crib would be about them not opening the patio seating, but thats a non issue

Review №50

I gave it a 5 just because it was my first visit. Very busy, so you might want to check in advance for seating. Sorry, I didn't take any photos. The meal was tasty.

Review №51

Possibly the BEST Southeast Asian dining in the Valley! The owners are always nice and the service is great! I've tried yellow curry at well over two dozen Asian restaurants across the country and Le Basil has some of the best yellow curry I've ever eaten! This is one of my top 3 choices for restaurants and the entire desert.

Review №52

The service is impeccable! The food is top of the line and sauces are off the chart! High recommended...

Review №53

Mildly pricey. $3 ice tea. Pleasant service. Wear a sweater if cool outside.

Review №54

Food was amazing, service was great, they where super busy so of course a bit of a wait getting food but nothing to extreme we had medium size group and no one person was waiting to long. Loved it! I'm so full right now. Try the coconut soup! yum!

Review №55

Pho and orange chicken are amazing!

Review №56

Very paltry soup portions. Tasted mediocre. Curry also seemed a bit low in portions. The curry also tasted very mediocre.

Review №57

Fresh delicious cooked to perfection not too salty spiced just right clean restuarant

Review №58

Great phad thai noodles

Review №59

Slow paced restaurant, nothing special.

Review №60

They had booths available everywhere but denied them to us because we were a party of two, and the booths are for four persons. Instead, the female owner of the place, seated us at the dinkiest little table, in a corner. The two person party that was right behind me, though, they were given the booth that I was denied. Meanwhile, we're sitting in this corner, and there's some weird buzzing sound, AND, the dinky little table is very wobbly. Moreover, everything is over-priced and the food is just eh.

Review №61

Absolutely love this place have been going there for about 4 years now and it never fails. Their pad thai is full of flavor, their orange chicken is absolutely delightful and freshly made to order. I cant go without having a small house salad as their peanut dressing is to die for. All their food is full of flavor cant ever go wrong. Customer service is always great and very kind. Atmosphere is very mellow and relaxing.

Review №62

Fresh Rolls and Panang Chicken. If you like peanut, which I do, then this is a great place. Reasonable prices. Lunch menu. Very nice decor.

Review №63

Delicious pad thai. Fantastic service. Beautiful decor. Wonderful experience.

Review №64

Review №65

Delicious food and great atmosphere small place so get there quick to save a table

Review №66

The grilled pork is the best in the valley. Great Tom Ka Kai as well.

Review №67

I eat tons of Thai - this was not good. Greasy, lacking flavor, and it took forever. Nice decor, but not a place I would frequent.

Review №68

Lve!!! Friendly staff and great tasting food!

Review №69

I liked the food and service.

Review №70

I always enjoy stoping by Le Basil. Great food, great service!

Review №71

I used to love this place but yesterday would probably be my last.... poor service... took 20 minutes for water and for waiter to get our order.... Seafood fried rice was small in amount than before and tasted like too much oil... halibut was so small and wasn't cooked the way it used to be. The owner knows me by name and face and I 'll be thinking for a long time before I go back. Not worth the money. It's ok to be expensive but show service and quality. You just lost me and my wife.

Review №72

Great food & great service!!

Review №73

My favorite spot for delicious thai food. super place to meet and chat with coworkers. really nothing but enjoyable experiences here, i'll be back. prices are decent for the quality.

Review №74

Service was good and meal was delicious. I enjoyed a very pleasant time with a good friend. We were not rushed, but made to feel comfortable.

Review №75

I enjoy the food every single time I go there. Delicious Thai iced tea and sticky rice with mango if you have room in your belly

Review №76

The food is amazing. I have mostly gone to Thai smile for Thai food, but this place has wayyy better tasting food. The atmosphere is nice and not too busy as Thai smile. I made my husband bring me back.

Review №77

I ordered the pad thai which was very wet and too sweet. Not very authentic at all. Customer service was good though.

Review №78

Am never disappointed with the cuisine at this small hidden restaurant. Truly refined and unique flavors. If going for the first time, use Google maps to take you to the door. I like the red curry especially, but try the "Money Bags " appetizer for something tasty and fun.

Review №79

Enjoyed the food great fresh brewed iced tea wonderful soup

Review №80

It was ok. Decent pho decent bun.

Review №81

This place has the absolute best Tom Ka Kai soup I have ever had, by a ridiculously wide margin. Sometimes I come here and just get a hot pot of Tom Ka Kai and nothing else, and I leave entirely satisfied. They also have outstanding spicy fried rice, and their Thai lemonade is good although sometimes a little inconsistent. This is one of the more authentic Thai places in town, at least according to my limited knowledge of the cuisine.

Review №82

Totally underestimated this place for some reason. I'm a big eater (as in I eat a lot) so I think I thought the servings would be too small or it wouldn't fill me up or something. Boy was I wrong. I actually planned to come here, try a roll, and then get some Chipolata as my actual meal. So that's what I did, I came, got a roll, took it to Chipolata but then the line at Chipolata was long so I got hungry and decided to taste the roll. Wow was I surprised. Immediately left went back and ordered another 3 rolls, plus a bowl which ended up being way too much food but was all so delicious. I would settle on just the 3 rolls next time and it would be enough. Can't wait to move to Palm Desert, CA so I can frequent this place much much more.

Review №83

Great food love all the flavors

Review №84

Excellent food. Fresh. Wait staff is great.

Review №85

Service was slow but then dinner was really good.

Review №86

Last night was the worst Thai restaurant I have ever experienced. The only acceptable part of our meal was the fried spring rolls. The Pad Tai was horribly over cooked and soggy. It was the consistency of mush.Go to Smile Thai in Palm Springs and you won't be disappointed.I

Review №87

My wife and I found Le Basil after our favorite Thai restaurant closed down. This was a perfectly suitable replacement. The food is excellent. Our favorites are the Yellow Curry and Panang Curry. Even if you think you don't like curry you should try these - it just might change your mind. We typically get takeout and for about $30 we stuff ourselves and have leftovers for two days. On top of that the staff are very friendly and just as great as the food!

Review №88

Superb food. Soup was delicious. Great friendly service. Nice atmosphere.

Review №89

Best Thai in the valley! Fabulous food, friendly owners and staff, beautiful, calming environment. Always a great experience.

Review №90

A great family-owned restaurant with a large menu. The curry dishes are fantastic, and this was the place where I discovered the noodle dish, bun.

Review №91

Looked at us funny when we came in with 3 kids at 5pm. The fried rice for the kids was delicious, but my Massaman curry was much too sweet.

Review №92

Good good good

Review №93

Le Basil has shut down the southeast asian food game. Best damn curry in the valley, period. The orange chicken and iced coffee will change your life. Do yourself a flavor and get over here with a quickness.

Review №94

Absolutely amazing!

Review №95

Great service!

Review №96

Food is always yummy

Review №97

I'd give it one star if I could. I requested a vegetarian panang curry with tofu in lieu of beef (an option I couldn't deselect despite trying). It arrived creamy white and full of beef. Last I checked, panang curry is a peanut based curry. Disappointed and still hungry. The Postmates app and this restaurant are terrible.

Review №98

Excellent service. Soothing environment. The pho was amazing. Will definitely return.

Review №99

I love this place. By far my favorite Thai restaurant. I recommend ginger fish, chicken panang, tom ka Kai, money bag, and fried banana with ice cream.

Review №100

My favorite Thai restaurant in the universe.
