I had the fried fish. It was absolutely delicious. Since it was our first visit we definitely want to go back and try their breakfast. It's a cute little diner. Friendly and clean.

Heard good things so I stopped in on my way back from a short trip. Had the meatloaf dinner with green beans w/bacon and applesauce. Very flavorful. I also got a fish dinner w/fries and coleslaw for later. I haven't eaten it yet but it smells and looks really good. Very attentive and friendly waitress too. Only regret...I forgot to ask for extra tarter sauce and they only gave 1 small one.

For our Girl's Night Out/In we picked Chat-n-Chew. Are we ever glad we did. We enjoyed a wonderful homey dinner that you would swear your Mom cooked! We had fork tender pork chops and homemade mashed potatoes smothered in a delicious gravy, Chicken Siciliano which is chicken breasts cradled in sauteed onions and green peppers topped with provolone cheese and last but not least a hot sausage sandwich which is a hot sausage patty topped with green peppers and onions. Both the former dinners came with delicious fair style fries. The glorious end to this awesome meal??? Homemade strawberry pie and homemade rhubarb pie. The crust was divine and I am not a crust person ( I would always leave that end piece for my Mom). If you haven't been here, you are missing out on a terrific meal. What was fun was the fact that they knew a lot of their customers by name which tells you that they have a wonderful repeat clientele!!!

Me and my daughter stopped for lunch because the name looked cool! when we went in at kind of look like a bunch of old folks gossiping.. so I knew the place was going to be good! The waitress was very friendly and very helpful with the menu for us. The food was sooo good! I was very impressed. The only thing is the place needs a update and a good cleaning, other than that it was great and will be back to try the pie next time.

Usually a good place to eat. I tried calling to order..a man answered and asked me to hold..10 minutes later I was still listening to everything going on there but no one picked up..

Went there for take out breakfast. The prices were cheap. The food was delicious. Large amounts for a small price. Made exactly how I expected. The atmosphere was relaxed and happy. The staff greeted me when I walked in. The woman who took my order at the counter was friendly, knowledgeable, and had a contagious smile. I noticed the cook was clean, not only himself but his viewable work area as well. 5/5 stars for sure. We hope to return to try out lunch next soon.

Ok. It's not because you are not white. I just went to order a fish dinner to go. I guess I'm not as patient. I only waited five minutes at the counter seeming invisible. Must be nice to have so much money that you don't need mine.

Had the Chicken in the Garden again and it is still a superb cool and refreshing treat of a salad. The hidden pita underneath it seals the deal every time! This is one of the gems of dining you find that is always worth returning to. Great staff, super friendly. Excellent food with good home cooking choices. Very reasonable prices too.

Drove through the area stopped to eat dinner and it was AMAZING! The burgers were some of the best we have had in a long time! Kids really enjoyed the pbjs. Splurged for the homemade pie and so glad we did, the peanut butter pie and it was delicious. Friendly staff and great prices. =)

Now for the truth. It's a Veal Patty not a cutlet. Not sure about much else but my uncle's meatloaf looked like a frozen Patty with brown gravy. The price is okay but fries are always extra. Let's get back to the Veal Patty. The sauce was overbearing but it was the highlight of the dish, the cheese was tasteless. The pasta it came with tasted as if it was reheated. Back to the fries, they were good and decent portion.Two stars because the Veal Patty was terrible. The servers were nice but not friendly. The service was slow, but the food was quick, which makes me wonder. The place felt dated and cramped and I was cold, I don't get cold very easy. I don't care to pay for food that taste like heat and serve in a place that I fell should be homemade.

The prices are decent, the place looks clean, food was below average, the service was horrible. My wife and I (she's white) were stared at and made to feel uncomfortable. We stood at the counter 15min although the restaurant was near empty. Finally we decided to just order take out and leave. What's worse is, I was friends with Earl Richmond who originally bought the place for his daughter who has owned & operated it for many years. Earl was no racist but apparently his children are. Another of his children has the Wagon Wheel bar in Levittsburg about a mile away. It's also a place blacks aren't welcomed.

This place was awesome! The staff are wonderful. Everything is down home cooking. If you are spending time at camp ravenna this is the best place to eat breakfast at around.
