Truly is the best candy store in Delaware! The homemade artisan chocolates are the best in the state!!! The smell of chocolate hits you the moment you walk in. Phenomenal homemade chocolate marshmallows, pretzels, cherries and caramels!!! Reasonably priced with deals. Must try one of they're from scratch caramel apples in the Fall!!! Everything is fresh and delicious!!! A Delawarean treasure!!

Got a box of mixed chocolates: they were very stale, bloom on the bottom, dry and the bottoms of most of the chocolates cracked or not covered. So was this the stock ordered discarded from the Wilmington shop in September? I tossed it. Not recommended.

Excellent service and amazing handmade chocolate. I stopped in for the 1st time and was very surprised with what I found. This is the best chocolate I've had in a long time. Very friendly staff and lots of variety. Thank you Govato's.

To be honest I now work part-time at Govatos Chocolates. Actually, the job came about as I was buying a birthday treat as I often do. The chocolates are excellent and anyone I have gotten them for (including me) has been delighted.
