I placed a to go order over the weekend. The atmosphere was great and the staff was helpful. The food was fresh, authentic and delicious. I was impressed with how well the assorted meat tasted. The tendon was super tender. And the beef and tripe were full of flavor and well cooked. Best I've had.

Service was amazing and the food was great. I will definitely be back very soon. Highly recommended!!

Great service and the food was the best Nigerian food I had in a long time other than my in-laws but they don't live close by anymore. My fiancé ate his food in one point two seconds.

Review №4

2 vegan dishes and sooo delicious! The owners are a wonderful Nigerian couple who loves their customers. Presentation is everything to them which is beautiful to see in the Black community. So far the only Afrikan restaurant that has vegan options. You will love it!

Comchop is better!!! I paid almost $16 for some unflavored jollof rice. Its a shame that a new establishment would give you day old meat. My chicken leg was black and hard inside and the 2nd piece of meat was merely a back portion of chicken...not even a thigh!!! I will NEVER return. I was given 3 slivers of plaintain....So all in all.... Large portion of tasteless no spice AT ALL jollof rice and old stale chicken and the poorest pick of chken parts that you would even give to a DOG. I called back to give them an opportunity to correct this as I still had my food in hand and I spoke to the same young lady with the puffy hair and she pretended that she was not the one who had just served me 7 minutes earlier and I asked her to have the manager call me and as of today I have yet to receive a phone call back from anyone so at this point I don't mind letting everyone know about this place. Perhaps this type of food quality is acceptable to your fellow countrymen but to the black Americans This is not acceptable!!! That price is ridiculous for what i was given. Plus there was a 49cent service charge added on TOP of the sales tax AND the cutlery was from a baby doll as it was as tiny and flimsy as a piece of paper. And napkins that came inside were super cheap and super thin and tiny. I am appalled at any of this!!!. And please do not add your reply and say that you do not find a Lady Omusuku on any of the receipts because that is my blog identity and not my legal name.

Review №21

This resturant has the best Amala and ewedu soup. The environment is excellent and servers are very pleasant. The best of all, social distancing is in place and everyone wears mask. Loved it and I will definitely be back!

Review №22

I got jellof rice and chicken which was really good. I got suya wings too which were fire. My only issue was the dodo. It was more like boli and dry, but hey everyone likes theirs different.

Review №23

Amazing experience ! Loved the scenery and food. My favorite was the fried rice

Review №24

Restaurant is very nice. Beautiful ambiance and very clean.I ordered the egusi and peppered gizzard. The egusi was not very flavorable. I expected it to taste like the egusi I've previously had in Lagos. That was disappointing. The peppered gizzards were too too hard. Another disappointment. The plantain was nice though.I will give the restaurant another try because I understand that it is a very new establishment and getting the kinks out.Egusi is my favorite dish from Nigeria so please add more flavor and spice.

Review №25

Review №26

The food was fresh and delicious. I will definitely be eating here again.

Review №27

The food is nasty . The food there is expensive and not worth it. The wait time is ridiculous.

Review №28

Great place, good food, friendly staff.

Review №29

I just ordered 2 goat burgers, spent $45, the patty was so small I couldn't even taste it over the huge bun , half an onion, and on top of that is was cold. I would NOT recommend this place. The suya was horrible as well. They are over priced for the food to be so poorly made.

Review №30

Delicious food! A must-go place in Houston!

Review №31

Review №32

Review №33

Review №34

A friendly atmosphere, good customer-service, prompt service delivery coupled with a very hygienic environment that is only akin to your own home cooking. The quality of the food at this African Restaurant is honestly second to none in the whole of the Houston environs and the prices will not put a hole in your pocket

Review №35

No doubt! one of the best African Restaurants in H-Town,I am Scottish married to an African woman! She introduced me to Jollof rice from this restaurant.I LOVE IT!!!

Review №36

Guess what guys! I ordered some jollof rice for myself , pounded yam with Egusi soup for my husband , and oatmeal with okra soup for my brother in law at this newly opened restaurant, it was good mouth watering, fresh home cooking, the shop is clean , staff are very respectful with good customer services, they got me right there! I love good food, will surely be back to patronize them.Good value for my money also good location.

Review №37

The food is so good and the store is Family friendly I love going there and it's wonderful excellent excellent excellent.

Review №38

Food wasnt fresh. Food doesnt look the same as advertised on flyer. Taste like they put Popeyes chicken in my okro soup. Everything tasted old. Worse african food i ever tasted. I been to alot of african restaurants. None like this. I usually go to Trinity and its close to me. Julies is far from me on westhimer passed dairy ashford. There location is too nice for the food to be so nasty. Never going back. Never. I feel tricked. I see now why they dont have customers. Im very disappointed

Review №39

Beautiful service and the food is great!!!!
