I am conservative with stars. This was a very nice brunch. Four of us sat on the patio. We got two appetizers -- the truffle tots and pretzel. Both were very good. I got the vegetable quiche, which was heavy on red peppers and wetter than most quiches. I got the potato side, which was tasty with onions and red and green peppers. My husband got the chicken club, which he said had really well seasoned and cooked grilled chicken. Our server was very nice, and we felt safe as far as Covid precautions.

Had dinner here Saturday night because my husband really wanted to sit out on a patio. Unfortunately the rest of Cincinnati had the same idea. When we checked in at the hostess stand we were given a wait time of 45 minutes. We actually had to wait 1 and 1/2 hours before receiving a table. During the best of times there is always a wait for patio seating at the incline house. for some reason most of the tables on Saturday night were reluctant to leave dragging the wait time out much longer. When we finally were shown to our table, our server Meredith, was on the ball getting drink orders and taking our food orders. I had a Black and blue steak salad which was really delicious. My husband and daughter ordered two pizzas, a meat and the fig and prosciutto pizza. They enjoyed both of the pizzas and the drinks that were served were tasty with the amazing nighttime view of downtown. I only gave the restaurant the four stars due to the long wait.

I've been to Incline Public House several times. The food is delicious and it has a great view of the city! One criticism I have is that the kids' menu is slightly too upscale. Our daughter (5) got the spicy marinara spaghetti, and we asked about the sauce because she doesn't like much spicy food (not many kids do, IMO). The server said it wasn't spicy but, when we got it, the kid would barely eat it. This is minor, of course, but potentially important for people thinking of bringing their kiddos along. All in all, a nice place!

Review №4

Food is okay. Drink prices aren't bad either. The view is exceptional! A 45 minute wait turned into 1.5 hours. When we were seated we noticed the hostess wasn't maximizing the tables properly. She was searing parties of 3 at tables for 6 while tables of 4 were empty. Will go again just for the view.

Review №5

The food was excellent and the views of the river and the city were amazing. Their gluten free pizza was great, and good gluten free crust can be hard to find. My wife had their spinach grilled cheese and my son had their house burger. They both were impressed. We definently would go back, especially when the patio is open.

Review №6

You've got a beautiful view and equally impressive pizza oven. Unfortunately the view was better. Pizza undercooked but meatballs appetizer was worthy of praise.

Review №7

Amazing food with an amazing view. Well worth the wait and price. The parmesan truffle tots are AMAZING!!

Review №8

After an hour and a half wait to seat two people, the food better be above average, and this wasn't the case.I was actually amazed at how they pulled this off. Everything we ordered looked like it could've been food found in a commercial. It was all perfectly colored and arranged in the plates. It was cooked perfectly. It just had no flavor at all.We ordered Grippos Crusted Mac and Cheese for a shareable, and even as powerful of a flavor that Grippos should have added, the rest of the watery cheese and noodles, drowned out that flavor. Boring, but how?! Then our meals came.I had the Spicy Chicken and Corn Waffle. Which promised a creole seasoned chicken and maple butter slathered waffle. It smelled wonderfully! The chicken was very cleared covered in seasoning. The only real flavor that came across was the maple. The chicken and waffle were both cooked to perfection, but there wasn't any WOW to it. How did it look like this and taste so meh?! I can't wrap my mind around it.My wife had Chicken Stir fry which again, looked amazing and smelled like an Asian restaurant. I quote her; "It tastes like a Lean Cuisine. . . . I think a Lean Cuisine might taste better actually." She said the chicken tasted like it had been steam-cooked or something because the only flavor it had was a watery chicken flavor. This baffled us being belief.Beautiful onion rings. All crispy and golden crusted. Where's the salt? Where's the flavor? The dipping sauce was the only vessel of flavor. This place relies on the views alone, which are amazing!Annoyingly, they don't do any type of call ahead (other than carry-out) or reservations. We've been twice now in 6 years, and it was a super long wait both times. It's clearly a popular place. Have a reservation system in place.Overall, we might go back at some point, but it is highly unlikely. Beautiful city views can't keep people coming back if the food isn't great. Even if it was great, the wait makes you think twice.

I'm from Atlanta, and this is my first time in Cincinnati. This place was recommended by a friend's coworker and now I get why. The fried chicken sandwich was delicious and the fries were seasoned really well. My friend had a House Burger and he too enjoyed his food. Will definitely be back next time I visit

Review №10

We had a great time! Even waiting to be seated was fun - in a park next to the restaurant, on a bench overlooking the city. We ate on the patio and the food was fantastic. It's a simple menu, but good options. Highly recommend! We've gone once before for brunch inside, too, and that was a good experience as well

Review №11

My husband and I stopped by after walking along the river on a gorgeous day. Since we arrived at 3 pm, there was no wait and we were able to be seated outside pretty quickly. We ordered a couple beers and a pretzel. The beers were great (Shorts Bellaire Brown Ale and Southern Tier Nitro Creme Brulee). The pretzel was so so (cold after the first minute after receiving it). Service was adequate, but nothing extraordinary. Of course, the view was exceptional. We've been here before and the food was great as was the service. We'll give it another try because the beer and view were worth it.

Review №12

We were seated quickly, had a phenomenal view, and the staff was quick! The food was great, fresh, and came quickly. The upcharge on side items is a tad steep, but they're delicious. The view is definitely baked into the prices a bit, but I think it's worth visiting, and will absolutely be returning! Great place for a relaxing lunch.

Review №13

Caitlin C. Was amazing. She was super bubbly and has an amazing personality. She gave me and my boyfriend great recommendations and I can't wait to come back and recommend others. Hope to see you again Caitlin.

Review №14

Even though the waiting time was kinda long, the view & food was amazing! Perfect portions. Would definitely come again.

Review №15

The fiancee got the house burger and I got the fried chicken sandwich. Massive portions. Fries were the battered kind and crispy and fluffy. The fried chicken sandwich was great and devoured quickly. The chicken breast was so tender it basically fell to pieces when I cut the sandwich in half.

Review №16

A favorite location for delicious American food. The food was super appetizing. Next time I'll be back with my relatives. The place has a great atmosphere.

Review №17

Great food and even better view! Seriously some of the best views in the city. I would recommend going when you can eat outside. Bring your camera

Review №18

Great food! A large blackened chicken sandwich on a brio bun was fulfilling! The side of sticky rice and order of onion rings were fresh and fulfilling! I definitely will be back!

Review №19

Great view, very clean, wonderful service. Sat on the patio. Kevin was so polite and so patient with us even though we stayed there way too long. I had the IPH BLTE which was delicious. My mom and nephew had quiches. Not what we were expecting at all, but they liked them. My one sister had the burrito and my other had the hangover and both dishes were very filling and delicious. Definitely want to go for dinner sometime.

Review №20

This place is a cool place to chill and have a drink and lunch. We had the Caesar salad with salmon on top, and the black bean burger. Fries and onion rings were great, and the homemade ranch was peppery and particularly delicious. There were also awesome views of the city!

Review №21

American food and the scene at this place is great. Food was so delish. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Bring your appetite because portions are generous. Feels similar to a cafe in Chicago I liked.

Review №22

It was a beautiful clear day... Outdoor patio seating. The view of the city was gorgeous! Scanned barcode on table to view menu.White Wine Sangria was nice and cold, refreshing, really good. Ordered pretzel appetizer served with yummy beer cheese and a mustard with a little kick to it. Service was good. Server's wore face masks. Can't wait to go back again soon and try a couple different menu items.

Review №23

One of my favorite locations for american food. Food was so delicious. The service was very welcoming and observant. It has a great feel to it.

Review №24

American food and the feeling here is excellent. The service was friendly and observant. It has a nice feel to it.

Review №25

If there was a negative star I would give it to this place. Manager is a total witch. She takes no accountability for her staff or the restaurant. She yelled at my husband after he asked where our food was after already waiting almost an hour. Then said wasn't their fault and practically threw our food at my husband. They do not care about customer service whatsoever. Totally unprofessional. Need better training that's for sure. Will be contacting further up management in regards to this incident.

Review №26

They get a 4 because everything is great except for the menu. It used to be much better. I came for the mussels but I got a steak cooked on a flat top and chopped up and put on a decent salad. Mac and cheese is the bomb.

Review №27

Great view, outdoor seating, good food, solid local craft beer selection. I made up an eclectic flight to try a number of the beers. Good times.

Review №28

Food and drink were very good, but the views are even better

Review №29

My boyfriend and I absolutely love Incline!! Every time we travel from Columbus to Cincinnati we stop at Incline and always have great service and a great meal! Thank you Incline! You make Cincinnati even better.

Review №30

Fish & Chips were delicious!Chicken & waffles were just okay.Pretzel was great, but the beer cheese is more of a cold cheese spread. Our kids shared a pizza and loved it too. The view was awesome! If we were in the area we'd definitely visit again.

Review №31

A fav spot for quality american food. I should have took a photo of the food but it was too good to interrupt. Prices are appropriate. Menu is like a cafe in Boston I liked.

Review №32

Love this place! The food and drink selection is spectacular. The best time to come here is in the summertime — sit outside if you get the option to. The restaurant is up on a hill so you get a beautiful view of the entire city of Cincinnati; the perfect destination for a romantic weekend dinner with your honey. This time around, 7 others and I gathered for our friend's birthday. To our dismay the waiters do not do a birthday dance for growing boys like himself, but we understood. In my opinion the best item on the menu is the Southwest BBQ Chicken Pizza. Trust me. Just get it. Make sure you snag one of their “Remus Ohio Sour” drinks as well; it's made with an exquisite blend of liquors, with a splash of their house made red wine. A+

Review №33

Great food. Great service. Great view of Cincinnati!!

Review №34

We had the house burgers on Sunday. It came with French fries. The view is spectacular from deck. The young staff are kind, energetic and friendly. If you want to see the best view of Cincinnati, go to the Incline public house!!

Review №35

American food and the setting here is great. the food was tasty. it has a nice interior. reminds me of a place in new york i loved to visit.

Review №36

Great view of the city and really good food too. Friendly staff. Very good service by our waitress. All around great place can't wait to go back!

Review №37

American food at this location - great. Honestly my favorite evening place. The service here is above par. Prices were good for how much you get. Similar to a place in Denver I loved.

Review №38

My favorite location for delicious american food. Cool location to meet with coworkers. The service here is outstanding. Prices are reasonable.

Review №39

Incredible view! Food was fast and delicious. Recommend the Brussels sprouts! Yummy

Review №40

Great food, as always. Beautiful views of the city and very friendly personnel. I always enjoy coming here, definitely recommend!

Review №41

Great views of the city. The food is really good. Get the Bruechetta. I got a Salad with Salmon really good. My niece got the Fried Chicken Samdwich and loved it.

Review №42

Every time we've been here its amazing. Besides the view, the food is always delicious. You won't be disappointed giving it a try.

Review №43

Great food, best restaurant view of Cincinnati in the city. Service is always phenomenal as well.Unfortately I took away one star because the mens bathroom door is broken and literally slams way too fast when exiting. The door hinge doesn't slow the door down when closing. The door handle hit me so hard it left me with a tennis ball size bruise on me for a few weeks, so be careful if you use the bathroom. Will give 5 stars if the bathroom door gets fixed.

Review №44

The view is amazing. Food was yummy. Good portions and great pricing. Would recommend.

Review №45

This had a nice atmosphere ..leans more to the adult side in the evening .. The view was pleasant .sat outside ..the house wine is a must! The watermelon margaritas were delightful ..No music playing just nice conversation with family the wait it was not to bad but the little sweat bees swarming along the patio entrance was not pleasing but all in all ..prices were not on the low in but average for this type of establishment ..will go again ..hit please

Review №46

The view is always breathtaking but so was the wind a very quick visit it was very windy but still one of the best views of the city.

Review №47

American food and the setting at this spot is excellent. The food was amazing. Nothing but great experiences here. They have a lot of great reviews for a reason.

Review №48

American food and the feeling here is super good. I can see why they have so many good reviews.

Review №49

Came down from Indianapolis with a friend to enjoy Cincinnati for the day. Lunch at Incline was our first stop, and it didn't disappoint! Beautiful views, great food, and a kind/attentive server (Brendan F.). Can't wait to return in the fall!

Review №50

The view and atmosphere were unquestionably outstanding. The service however was terrible. On the day we were there the restaurant wasn't terribly busy, and there was ample staff for the number of patrons. Our server came to the table 3 times, he took our order, delivered our order and after an extended wait brought our bill. We were not offered a single refill on drinks or asked how our meal was. Disappointed and won't return. Z

Review №51

It was great, awesome fish and chips, the view is amazing. Eat up have fun

Review №52

Great Restaurant we visited today with an awesome view. Of Cincinnati, Ohio great food and service with a smile. Get there just before Dinner it fills up quickly for a medium sized establishment they do have inside and outside seating. Handicapable friendly.

Review №53

American food and service here is better than most. very tasty. service is consistently good. this place has a cool design. reminds me of a restaurant in philadelphia that i enjoyed.

Review №54

I'm honestly shocked that this place gets such great reviews. They have a really large section for their pizzas and the pizza I had was just about the most bland food I've ever had. The cob salad was mediocre at best, and they actually burnt the boiled eggs. Shocking. I'll surely never come back.

Review №55

My top spot for tasty american food. went there on a saturday. the service was very helpful and observant. this place has a good atmosphere.

Review №56

This was a very interesting place to eat. Our server was very nice but our hostess really went above and beyond. She was very sweet and I thought favored Olivia Wilde. I have a toddler and it worked out fine although not what I would consider a kid environment.

Review №57

Great view. Great beer. Great burger. Little pricey but worth it.

Review №58

Went on a Tuesday with high chance of rain. So not much of a crowd. Seated immediately. Got to our outdoor seating. Great view of Cincinnati. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and my wife ordered the house burger. Both dishes where large. My sandwich was great but the Cole-slaw came on the sandwich as opposed to the side. I would have liked to known that ahead of time. Overall it was a great visit. I would recommend swinging by at least once. Beer selection is good as well. Only improvements would be a more varied food menu.

Review №59

American food... super yummy. Very delicious. Looking forward to coming back with my friends. Reminds me of a place in New York I loved to visit.

Review №60

Staff was very nice and friendly burger tasted precooked would rather have crisp iceberg lettuce not lettuce limp as a dish rag.

Review №61

Great views, tasty food and loads of beer to choose from. Incline Public House is the place to go for a chill atmosphere. Go when it's sunny but not to hot and enjoy the views from the patio

Review №62

The servers were very attentive and friendly. The food came out promptly and was delicious. The Incline Public House also has a great atmosphere. If you get the chance, go and have a unique dining experience!

Review №63

Incredible view. Great Sunday brunch menu. Delicious food.

Review №64

Always good food, service and beer! Bonus points for the view of the city!

Review №65

Food was great! Cool location and atmosphere.

Review №66

Old review: Always great quality food and friendly staff. I highly recommend the white wine sangrias New review: Tonight the drinks were “meh” and the stir fry was just to soupy this time. I'm sorry people for lying about the “always” portion of the previous review. Because of that I'm taking 1 star away. The server is doing a great job.

Review №67

Outstanding views, great staff. Perfect place to spend and evening overlooking Cincy.

Review №68

Very good. Felt safe with tables distanced. Good food.

Review №69

Non-accomodating, staff gives incorrect hours over the phone, public should have the option during pandemic to eat outside, told heaters were out of propane, told servers won't go outside if temperatures drop below certain level.Usually I am pretty glowing with reviews. Unfortunately, since IPH's opening, have only eaten there three times. Each time, kinda meh. Certainly not worth the 45 minutes to an hour wait for a table. Sad thing, we are within walking distance, but will go somewhere else before IPH. Not worth the hassle.I have not felt welcome here; it's like they are doing you a favor by letting you in.

Review №70

Enjoyed the food, atmosphere and service with family and friends. Pleasantly surprised.

Review №71

Went here after church with a couple of friends for brunch. I had the Mt. Hope breakfast. It was a decent amount of food, and was delicious. The waffles were amazing, and the cookie had for dessert was absolutely excellent. It was a welcoming restaurant with a beautiful and thoughtfully designed interior. Not to mention that out of the large windows you could see the Greater Cincinnati metropolitan area; Take one step outside and the view becomes simply breathtaking. I had an overall excellent visit here and will be stopping again.

Review №72

Great selection of craft beers, great food, and great service with an unbelievable view of Cincinnati.

Review №73

Outstanding place for quality American food. Very filling. Certainly worth a return trip. It has a cool interior.

Review №74

Don't get the quiche! Great atmosphere and mostly good to okay food. Go for the view. We started going here when we were mourning for the closed Prima Vista, just about next door.

Review №75

Best Black & Bleu salad I've ever had

Review №76

Loved the food and scenery. Prices were surprising reasonable.

Review №77

Outstanding place for american food. i'll return with my friends. prices are decent. i can see why they have so many reviews.

Review №78

Good food and service. Nice view of downtown, nky and the river. Limited free parking.

Review №79

Nice evening out. Food came fast and super hot and was delicious. The pretzel and beers cheese could have been a meal! Excellent fried cod!

Review №80

Good food and great views! Wait list can be pretty long but there's a nice little park area where you can wait!

Review №81

The host was not truthful about seating, I was told servers could not handle more tables due to being seated. Yet I watched 3 more guests parties seated outside. What happen to the 15 to 20 minute wait. I was just told there would be? Did that rule disappear? Is that because we were "different" from everyone else? We were not a group of your peers. Thank you for making this our last visit here.

Review №82

My first time here. Lots of menu choices (select from online menu), great service, beautiful view. I highly recommend, & I will be back.

Review №83

First time trying the food. Ribs were just plain ol pork roast flavor. Dry and tough. Mac and cheese was bland and dry. And I don't know WHAT they did to the broccoli, but it looked awful, smelled AWFUL, and tasted even worse. So disappointed. Oh...the hostess was quite rude also.

Review №84

Great view, awesome service, Mahi tacos were bomb! This place was clean and they had the tables spaced 6ft if not further apart. Would highly recommend.

Review №85

You need to fix your call experience.I called wanting to know the wait time. They said they couldn't quote me because it fluctuates so much - I asked is it going to be 2 hours or less? She said “I sure hope not” very rudely. ( I get you can't promise numbers but you can probably assure me it's not 2 hours, it's also not what you say it's how you say it.Not going to go because I'd rather not waste 20 minutes driving there with my family.

Review №86

My experience at the Incline was ok. Here's why, I want to say that my server Thomas was very well trained and a people person, interacting with and prompt on his duties. Now, the host Morgan, she's in the wrong line of business. Morgan has a people person problem, sort of like she doesn't like to be there. After speaking and hearing other customers from afar speak the same way about how she interacts and has a Blah attitude with showing hospitality. I sincerely hope Incline takes this message and applies the necessary to Morgan. I wouldn't recommend this place to others all because if she's the first thing you come across then what are the rest of the people like.? Thank you

Review №87

Good service. Good sandwich. Great fries.

Review №88

Oh man! We lucked up. 4th of July, best seats in the house (on the balcony) watching all of Cincinnati shooting fireworks! It was amazing! Food was really good, table service was noticeably slow but also because of the holiday. Overall great time! Would definitely go back just for the views.

Review №89

Good food and a friendly helpful staff. Wonderful view of Cincinnati.

Review №90

Went for lunch yesterday afternoon, first visit. Great views of Cincinnati with a large outdoor patio. Cool out, sat inside after about a ten minute wait. Good menu with plenty of selections. Our server Ryan was great, very personable and attentive. We had the W. 8th pizza and the fried cod sandwich. Pizza was very good with ample toppings and a smokey taste. The cod had a nice battered crust and was fresh and flakey. Nice selection of beer, canned, bottled and draft. Public House sized and it was full the entire time of our visit. Will definitely return.

Review №91

I love the view, and it's great atmosphere. The food is good too.

Review №92

Great service, great food and amazing view! This will definitely be a must stop spot next time I visit into town!

Review №93

Food was very good. Service was also very good. The view was spectacular

Review №94

Ok scene for American food. service treated us so nice.

Review №95

Good food, nice prices, selection of beers, great service and gorgeous view! Will be back. Note no reservations taken.

Review №96

Local eatery that is doing everything right. Bloc has truly revitalized this area but the Incline Public house is truly bringing class back to the neighborhood. The food is on point and the staff is exceptional.

Review №97

We had a party of 14 on our first visit here. The service was excellent and right on cue. The entire family got 14 different dishes so we could try most of the menu on our first visit. Everyone was extremely happy with what they ordered. We will definitely return here in the future for drinks and dinner at every opportunity we get. Please keep up the good work.

Review №98

Fantastic experience! Great views, great food, great service. We got a pretty easy wait time of 30 min and it was well worth it. We got things started with the cherry pepper poppers. These are your run of the mill poppers. They were cream cheese filled cherry pepper wrapped in bacon and deep fried. It even came with a super good fig glaze. I do wish it was more than 4 per order, but it was still good. I got the house burger and it was as good as I've ever had. The burger was cooked to a perfect medium rare. The lettuce, pickles, and delicate fried onions were amazing toppings. Our waitress, Rowan, even brought out a few other sauces for us to try. I highly recommend the garlic aioli and remoulade. The fries were super crispy and I left very full. This place lived up to the hype and I definitely need to come back for brunch.

Review №99

1 of the best city views in Cincinnati Ohio. Great food!! Great drinks!!

Review №100

Great view, good food that's priced for what's it worth, super quick service, friendly staff.
